  1. PETA are a repulsive bunch of hypocrites. Absolute garbage for many reasons. http://m.liveleak.com/view?i=6c1_1361968754 Penn and Teller do a great job of exposing PETA.
  2. That is a tough call! Will they rest the starters for week 17 when they are 15-0?!
  3. Why would you think he didn't eat the buffalo? I guarantee the meat will be eaten just as anything you have shot. What makes your reaction any different from the guy who says "why would you shoot a deer"?
  4. Gutless is buying your meat at a supermarket after someone else slaughters it for you while claiming false moral superiority over those that hunt.
  5. I have a serious question for you. Are you a vegetarian? Since you feel that killing animals is a form of brutality I would have to assume that you are vegetarian and do not use any form of leather. Or are you just a hypocrit that is ok with others commiting "acts of brutality" for your benefit?
  6. Why do brides wear white? Because the dishwasher should match the refrigerator and the stove. 2 sperm are swimming along and one looks over to the other and says "man we've been swimming forever, are we anywhere near the uterus?" The other sperm replies "uterus!! we haven't even passed the esophagus yet!"
  7. You do realize that the cows used to make footballs and baseballs are killed right? There aren't herds of cows walking around with football shaped skin grafts.
  8. "Unless what you're hunting has a rifle too, and knows how to use it, it isn't a sport." I understand that your post made no clarification regarding eating the animal that you hunt. I eat everything that I hunt and still consider it a sport. Should football and baseball players have to face an armed cow before using it's skin for a ball?
  9. I'm guessing it was some badass vehicle with a saw blade on the side or something? Which also begs the question, by this time why wouldn't you have some type of armored vehicle to travel in?
  10. Yes...please put some clothes on or stop standing in the window waving at me. What will my neighbor, Snooki, think!?
  11. Way to back up your ignorant statement. I'm sure my brand new apartment with a view of Manhattan pales in comparison to your home.
  12. And you still haven't told us of the paradise that you live in...
  13. Where do you live? I moved to NJ last may and was surprised how nice certain areas are. But I'm guessing you know nothing other than the typical stereotypes of NJ.
  14. Just watched Mario on a special on USA Network show where NFL players meet with kids that are going through difficult times. It was simply awesome. I gained even more respect for Mario and the other players that took part. Mario met with a young girl that lost her Dad in the war. She was being bullied about it. It was a very emotional and inspirational show. Very impressed!
  15. This idiotic statement always makes me cringe. Unless you have never eaten meat or worn leather, stop with the "the animal should have a gun" crap. Is it more noble to buy your meat after some anonymous factory worker kills your dinner? I'm certainly not in favor of canned hunts, but hunting and eating what you kill should not be viewed as something negative.
  16. If it saves just one life!
  17. You do realize that a shotgun can be semi automatic and they sell magazines that hold 30 rounds right? The same shotgun that your article illustrates as half as powerful as an AR-15 because of muzzle velocity? I would take my chances against an AR-15 vs a Saiga shotgun at anything less than 50 yards. The Aurora shooting also happened in a "gun free zone". **Sorry to get off topic. The ignorant anti-AR15 "facts" always get me.
  18. This is a particularly useful fact from the article..."Critics describe them as high-power weapons — in addition to firing multiple rounds quickly, their muzzle velocity is almost double that of a typical traditional shotgun". No ****! High end air rifles approach the same muzzle velocity as a shotgun too. Does that mean they are just as deadly as a shotgun? If you use the critics logic they are. See how your "facts" can be used to persuade the uninformed?
  19. I have a Bushmaster that is probably 10-15 years old. I have never had any problems with it at all and fit and finish is good. I do not put it through much punishment, just the trip to the range every so often. The AR-15 platform is simply one of the most reliable and flexible ones available. .223 ammo is relatively cheap and available. I upgraded the stock and fore end grip. I also added an EOtech holographic sight that I cannot say enough good things about. EOtechs aren't cheap, but they are worth every penny! If you are looking for a fun, reliable rifle you will be very happy with the AR-15. Check out ar15.com if you want to get more recommendations and info. It is the most informative forum that I have found for gun related topics.
  20. I've recently started listening to books on Audible since I travel more. The Martian by Andy Weir was the most entertaining book I've ever read/listened to. I am sure I will go back to it down the road. Highly recommended.
  21. The guy made a guest appearance on The League. How bad can his "stage fright" be?
  22. They aren't asking him to solve math problems or give elaborate speeches. There are lots of manual labor jobs that he could excel at with his great strength and quickness that don't require making yourself available to the media for a few minutes a week. The guy felt comfortable enough speaking on camera to appear in an episode of The League.
  23. Maybe it's just me, but most companies that I have worked for would prefer a professional and courteous employee that follows protocol in addition to being a productive money maker. They value results and professionalism but if they are forced to choose, they will choose the revenue production obviously. Not all great players or salesmen are obnoxious jackasses about the ancillary responsibilities that come with their main responsibility. ( I have no "work enemy" in mind, but I have certainly witnessed hot shot salesmen that felt they were above the rules of the company as most people in a sales environment would encounter at some point) Plenty of great players have no problem conducting the interviews and staying out of trouble. And you obviously failed to understand the analogy of a salesman missing meetings and disregarding paperwork to Lynch refusing to conduct proper interviews and follow NFL regulations. Lynch refuses to toe the line and be a good all around employee and only gets away with it because he is a great producer. I am not naïve to the fact that on field production trumps everything in the NFL.
  24. Lynch is like the arrogant douchebag salesman that skips company meetings, makes inappropriate comments, and fails to turn in proper paperwork but blows away his sales quota. A company tolerates the crap and does their best to force him to do things by the book, but ultimately the production and revenue trumps the douchebaggery.
