JA17 had 44 total TD's to Lamar's 29. INT'S or no INT'S, Josh was clearly better. He also closed out winning 6 of 7 games, leading the Bills to their 4th straight AFCE title and the #2 seed. The same idiots last year who were claiming "it's not all about the stats" are the idiots this year saying "this award should be based on the stats, and Lamar's are better Josh Allen's." Let's all shed a tear and light a candle for the injustice of it all if Lamar doesn't win. Josh will only get it because people don't want to vote for the same guy all the time, not because he's deserving. It's ridiculous.

On top of everything being stated here about Lamar and Josh, let's look at the defense behind both. Ravens - #14 overall total defense, #29 pass defense, #1 rush defense, #11 scoring defense, #13 Red Zone defense, #20 3rd Down defense Bills - #23 overall total defense, #25 pass defense, #14 rush defense, #13 scoring defense, #18 Red Zone defense, #28 3rd Down defense (tied with 3 others so it's objectively between #28-#31, the only team worse is the Panthers) The Ravens also lead the league in sacks with 52 where we are 21st with 34. That is likely to change a bit this weekend because the Ravens have already played their 16th game, but we're still 18 behind them as a team. I mention all of this to show that Josh has to do more for his team to win than Lamar does, and the Bills have the better record with wins against the two best teams in the NFL on his resume.

He's only 45 yards away. Barring injury, he will eclipse that with no problem this year. I, too, have been skeptical of Lamar as a passer, but he does look better this year throwing from the pocket. He also has 39 TD's to just 4 INT's. That's pretty amazing. In all of this talk about who should be the MVP, I still think it's Allen. Will he get it? I don't think so, just because I don't trust those holding the ballots. Allen is putting up numbers on par with what he has done the last 4 seasons, but with what is widely viewed as lesser talent on this roster. He will eclipse 40 total TD's for the 5th straight season. He still has a shot at 4,000 yds passing for the 5th straight season. You can't really ask him to do much more to carry this team, because that's absolutely what he's done for the last 5 years now.

Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs - Can the Bills run through this gauntlet.
H2o replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can we? Sure, if the defense holds up their end of the bargain. I worry about this defense against the Ravens more so than anyone. That Zone Read with Lamar and Henry is tough for any team, more or less one that has had trouble stopping the run for as long as I can remember. The Rams and Lions games, where we let Stafford and Goff completely shredded us in the passing game, makes me nervous as well. Heck, we just let Drake Maye throw for 261 yds against us and he has a bunch of bums around him. I'm not worried about the offense that much. But Baltimore's defense is better than the Rams and Lions. I don't see Josh being able to have a shootout type of game against the Lamar if our defense is just letting the Ravens march up and down the field. -
Merry Christmas to all of my TBD family. May your day be full of the moments that make the holiday season so special. 🎄🎅☃️🎁

Von is not the player he once was. Neither are most players at 35. Hopefully, he can get a key pressure or get to the QB at the most necessary of moments in the Playoffs. That's what we brought him here for in the first place.

Cam is p*ssed because Josh is breaking all the records he once held. He's also just out here 🤡'ing for clicks and views since his football career is over. And his "fashion sense" may be the clearest evidence of CTE to date.

Name a player who is comparable to Josh Allen.....

He's a Cam Newton-sized John Elway. -

Once the Chiefs win on Wednesday, that won't be an issue. They will sit the last game of the year. -

Diontae Johnson to the Ravens (now claimed by Houston)
H2o replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I say no. He's apparently not a team type of guy, and our locker room is special right now. We don't need anyone coming in who could mess that up. He's also basically another MVS. We see how that worked out here. I never thought I'd say this back in August, bur we're good. -
Chiefs fans, Bengals fans, Jets fans, Packers fans, maybe some other teams I have missed. There have been a few guys over the years, but most of them didn't stay long. I've always thought Spags is someone from this board pretending to be a Jets fan. It's still been pretty funny over the years. I think Zerovoltz has made it the longest as someone posting on our board as another team's fan. I never understood it, joining another team's forum. I will go read them after a Bills win at times. But I don't interact with them, nor do I feel the need to do so. Some of your own favorite team's fans are insufferable enough. I can't imagine being as petty as to troll them in that manner.

Are the Patriots still the NFL team you dislike the most?
H2o replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
KC and Cincy are neck and neck for me. I hate the Chiefs, but I hate the Bengals too. They have one run to the SB and the pundits were slobbing them every chance they got. They have a bunch of dirty players. Can't stand Burrow or Hendrickson. Their coach is an arrogant pr*ck. -
To me, it's the back across his body, while rolling to his left, dime to Cook in perfect stride. The throw to Coleman on a rope 60 yds down the field is a close 2nd.

A lot of these owners are just ridiculous. Woody Johnson, Jerry Jones, Dave Tepper, Mike Brown, Jim Irsay, from the way they carry themselves, to the things that come out of their mouths, to the way they can't even get out of their own way. It's crazy. But such is the lives of some rich people who get caught up in that pride.

Should be 3 weeks in a row now.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better
H2o replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The group has worked. The main reason it has worked is because Josh Allen has turned into everything we could have possibly hoped for and more. I said the Diggs move was most likely going to be addition by subtraction. His attitude and constant screaming for the ball being out of the locker room has allowed Josh to just go back to having fun playing football. He reads the defense and throws the ball to the open man. To see him have this type of success with guys considered "lesser" by most pundits just proves how great of a player he really is. Now go get that Lombardi. -
Jared Goff didn't want to be drafted by Buffalo (unsubstantiated)

This is a non-story. Who cares about what Goff thought 10 years ago.
