  1. The thing that I see with Tua, from watching him this versus his time at Alabama, is a difference in his arm strength. I know they say he's 100% healed from the hip injury, but I wonder if it hasn't affected his ability to drive the football? His mechanics in many instances have looked horrid this year as well. Maybe he just has some technical flaws he has to work out? Or maybe he really is a different QB after the injury? Whatever it is, I don't get that vibe that he has that "it" factor which goes into a Franchise QB. When Josh stepped on the field as a rookie, flaws and all, you could see the energy he brought to the team as a whole. The vibe was completely different. You saw flashes of greatness even in the midst of the learning curve. I don't get that feel or really see that with Tua.
  2. I just read through the 8 pages of it and laughed at more than a few posts. We too have been on the end of those kinds of beatdowns. Mainly against the Pats and Tom Brady. They couldn't stop our starters in the first half and couldn't stop the 2nd/3rd string in the 2nd half. What are we supposed to do? Call the Jills out of retirement and tell them to suit up?
  3. Taylor straight trucked those guys. Can't be mad at that.
  4. Daboll's concepts are fantastic, but this also accentuates Josh's growth as a QB. He recognizes all of these things now, both pre and post snap and understands what to do in nearly every situation. The game is slowing down for him. The maturation, combined with his work ethic, combined with Josh's commitment to getting better at his craft, combined with the scheming of Daboll, and combined with the weapons he has it has all come together almost perfectly this year.
  5. Bills 37 Colts 21 Big game for Josh and the offense in front of the home fans.
  6. Yes, but there were four 7-9 records in honor of Dick Jauron.
  7. BBFS, most of us have suffered from it at times. I'll be the first to admit I have. This season has really expelled all of those thoughts. After the Arizona game I expected us to fade. That is the type of thing that would normally kill our year. Instead we run off 6 straight victories, our defense jumps like 12 spots overall in that time, and Josh plays himself into the upper echelon of the MVP conversation. This team got better every week. They showed out in all 4 nationally televised games. Their last 3 games they win by 29, 29, and 30 points. Sunday they went INT, punt, punt on the first 3 possessions, and STILL put up 28 before halftime against the #1 scoring defense in the NFL. Even the backups shredded that Miami team. This is not the Bills of the past quarter century. These guys want to win for each other, they want to win for the coaches, they want to win for the fans, and the city of Buffalo as a whole. This is a team environment and vibe I haven't felt around a Bills squad in my lifetime. Even the 90's Bills, who were absolutely great, didn't have this type of energy around them. I don't think it will be easy per say, but I believe this team is different and I have complete confidence in them right now.
  8. The Bills are both humble and hungry. They remember that 16-0 lead against the Texans last year and how it evaporated before their very eyes. If you think this team is taking anyone lightly or going into this game thinking it's in the bag then you are mistaken my friend. They are on a mission right now and that mission didn't stop with winning the division or locking up the #2 seed in the AFC. "Won Not Done"
  9. Even if he only gets one vote, it will be more than Russell Wilson has ever gotten.
  10. Lord knows I hope Young, Sweat, Kerrigan, Allen, and Payne have Tom's face planted in the dirt all game long.
  11. Someone going to the game needs to bring a cardboard cutout of Pancho
  12. I still wouldn't be surprised to see Dabo make the jump to the NFL, especially if Houston comes calling.
  13. The Lombardi finally coming home to Buffalo. I expect us to run up on the Chiefs again in the AFCCG. If we win that then I like our chances to see the desired result of "The Process" come to fruition.
  14. LEGIT SUPER BOWL CONTENDERS!!! Let's go Buffalo!!!
  15. This team is outstanding and we got through this game healthy. Bring on the Playoffs!!! Let's go Buffalo!!!
  16. Outside of a bad throw by Josh and a great play by Jones, that was as good a half of football as we could have asked for.
  17. Hopefully Sark has his life in order now and doesn't pull a repeat of his USC debacle.
  18. @YoloinOhio I hope you guys beat the brakes off of Alabama. Can't stand Saban, going back to his days at Michigan St.
  19. Outside of one busted coverage last year we played Baltimore even. It was Lamar's lowest total yardage output of the season. This was also with last year's offense and last year's Josh. We even had a chance to tie the game up until our final play where John Brown ran a lazy route, giving Peters a chance to drive on it and break it up. This isn't the same Bills team and Lamar is no better than he was last year, actually having taken a step back for the most part. We are the team no one wants to see in January.
  20. Until they get a top tier QB this will be what happens. Book is decent, but rattles under pressure. They have a good WR class coming in next year, I just hope Buchner is who they are making him out to be at QB.
  21. Notre Dame is gonna get smoked again. Kelly never has his team ready for the games that matter, with the exception of a couple of big regular season wins.
  22. As he should. Leading the league in catches and yards. What more can he do? And this is his first year here. Just wait until they have a full, normal offseason together.
