Can someone explain to me the Pats strategy?
H2o replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is true. I think the 49ers take Mac Jones as well. It would be awesome if the Pats stand pat and are stuck with Cam/Stidham again. -
This is the 2nd year in a row the Jets are striking out in FA. I might just head on over to Gang Green to see the meltdown taking place on their message board.

This just goes to show how much they have sucked in the draft as of late. Before they were re-signing their own. Playing the Comp formula and attempting to draft replacements has been a swing-n-a-miss. -

There won't be 5 QB's that go in the first 10 picks. -

They will either be taking Mac Jones or Trey Lance at #15. Their defense is going to be stout again. -
Jets to sign Lions LB Jarrad Davis 1 yr $7M

LB and they have to overpay at this point. Gotta spend that $70M in cap somehow. -

If anyone can salvage this guy it's Saleh. I expected more from him when he got to the NFL. He was a beast at Florida. -

I'm really not about throwing cap at RB's in FA. Draft one a year until you find one worth keeping. -

Bills a rumored suitor for Kareem Hunt trade
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one that I know of and he's still only 25 years old. I don't know if he would fit the mold around here. Either way, the source is kind of sketchy so we'll see what happens. -

I heard it was for Parker, a 3rd Round pick, and a half gallon of Hennessey. -

But it was a shove followed up by a kick instead of just walking away. A d*ck move on his part, drunk or not. -

Pretty sure he kind of kicked her while she was on the ground too. -

It all makes sense now. We are keeping Lee Smith to return kicks next year.

That's probably better answered by @GunnerBill I'm not too deep into the CB group, but I typically see a 2nd-4th grade on Samuel Jr.
-
Steve Martin and some random dog too. This was their last visit to the stadium.

I think he's more suited for a team that plays a lot of Man coverage. He kind of struggles in Zone a bit. He's also prone to get torched from time to time because he can struggle finding the ball in the air if his back is to the QB. I wouldn't take him at #30. If he is there in the 2nd? Possibly.

I just saw this on FB and all I read first was "Houston and Miami have a deal:" I screamed "F********K!!!" at the top of my lungs making both the dog and cat run for their lives....... Then I realized it wasn't for Watson and was like, "Oh, well that's useless."

We need a RB with breakaway speed. None of Moss, Singletary, or Antonio Williams have that. I don't think AW even ends up on the 53 when it's all said and done either. Harris is a 3 down back who is similar to Derek Henry as in once he gets in space those wheels get rolling. Etienne is an all purpose back with 4.4 speed. Javonte Williams is another guy who will run a sub-4.5 forty and can do it all, but I think may run with more power than the other two. There's a reason they call Javian Hawkins "Playstation" and he'll run a 4.4 forty or better. Kylin Hill is a nice, all around RB who would be a solid addition on day 3. You always look to improve at every position in the draft, especially when you don't have upper echelon talent at the position.

Draft a RB. Carson is an often injured RB who would be a waste of cap space. There are three guys who are a cut above the rest of the RB's in this draft in Harris, Etienne, and Javonte Williams available day 1 or 2. Then there are some guys like Kylin Hill and Javian Hawkins who are 3rd day guys who can be of use. You don't pay a RB $7-$8M.

Guilty here. I just "knew" that Milano was gone. I had already started to give him a Jets jersey. Then, once Milano had re-signed, I just "knew" that Williams was gone and we were looking to add 2 OL'man in the first 3 rounds of the draft. Now I'm just along for the ride because I have absolutely no idea what this mf will pull off next.
