  1. Fields gives them the best chance to win behind that OL. He will be running for his life.....a lot. At least he will have some exciting moments. I think Nagy and Pace are both gone after this season. I also think Chicago is where Bienemy actually gets his first crack at a HC gig as well.
  2. He's solid depth and showed decent in the games he got defensive snaps last year. He's not on Edmunds level though. He's a player with quite a bit of experience seeing a lot of snaps in the preseason, against lesser competition than he would face during the regular season. Glad to have him, but he's nothing spectacular.
  3. Mama, there's that man. Stevenson with the house call
  4. I've heard of pancake blocks, but never a pancake rush
  5. Our 2nd and 3rd string just demolished them for a half of football
  6. Josh "Thug Life" Allen: Y'all boys ain't ready for this sh*t right here. We about to light yo defense up like Chicago 4th of July weekend. I'ma buss a cap in every one a y'all we face. My arm out chea slingin bullets. F*** all y'all. I'm out.
  7. Google Maps says I'm 8 hrs 37 min away. Not too bad of a drive I guess.
  8. Oh yeah, I know. No surprise at all. My hatred for him began while he was wearing a Jets uni though.
  9. My disdain for the Jets does not extend to individuals, except for Henry Anderson. **** that guy. Sad news for Lawson though. Hoping for a full and speedy recovery.
  10. Yikes, hope it's not a heat stroke. We all remember Korey Stringer with the Vikings some years ago. I know it's been pretty hot and humid as heck here across the mid-Atlantic for a couple of weeks now.
  11. Yep, sucks to be a Jets fan. From all the reports I had seen, Lawson was having a REALLY strong TC for them.
  12. I would say this is a game that gives Mitch a chance to say, "***k all of you," so we'll see if he makes the most of the opportunity. I'd expect Dabs to turn him loose for a hell of a lot more than two passes this week as well.
  13. Bills fans........average? Au contraire mon frere, Bills fans are the greatest fans on the face of the earth. Nothing average about them. All of the ones I have met here in VA are definitely more dialed in than other team's fans as a group imo. Hell, half of the other teams' fans I know around here just buy a jersey so they can get drunk at the local Buffalo Wild Wings and throw their hands up in the air or talk **** if their "team" actually does something. Most of the Bills fans I know also seem to have a broader knowledge of all the NFL teams, even more so than some of those other teams' fans. It's like we have a greater love for the game in general. Idk, that's just me and the way I see it.
  14. Video footage of Sweeney's injury
  15. And Miami just set the precedent for such idiotic moves by caving to Xavien Howard.
  16. I understand they may want some form of recompense for what happened to them. I, personally, hope he faces criminal charges and jail time if these accusations are true. We know what would happen to the average person if they were guilty of these same accusations. What I am saying though is some may have hopped on just because they see it as an opportunity and only for that opportunity, not because they are necessarily looking for any form of justice for those with legitimate claims.
  17. One or two "opportunists" hopping on board the train to the tune of hoping for $$$? Sure. But to think that ALL of these women are lying? Yeah, not likely at all. That seems like the picture that Watson's lawyer wants to try and paint.
  18. N'Keal Harry's being misused. Didn't you see his agent's statement about how unstoppable he was in college and that's why they wanted a trade?
  19. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/08/17/frank-clark-departs-practice-early-with-apparent-hamstring-injury/ Something he's apparently been battling for a couple of weeks, but pulling up lame in a one-on-one drill is not a good sign I would say.
  20. My thoughts as well, but there were some crying it was an injustice, he is "privileged", and all of that nonsense. Now that his former college coach dropped him during first cuts, which means he's really bad, now they can put away their soap boxes.
  21. Good. Now all of the people who were pissing and moaning about Tebow getting signed to a TC roster can shut up. He didn't even make it past the cut down to 85. That should tell you all you need to know.
  22. It's a solid write up and it's hard to disagree with what he said. At the same time, you have to take in the full context of the settings against KC. First game? The DL couldn't stop a nose bleed and CEH had his best game of the season. Limited opportunities, in bad weather, and we could never really get anything going. The AFC Championship? We all saw what happened when the Chiefs were called for the penalties in the SB that they weren't called for against us. Yeah, McDermott played it conservative on some calls we all wanted him to go for, but the tale of that game was the refs. They let Chris Jones punch people without consequence. Their DB's were illegal contacting, pulling jerseys, and damn near tackling our WR's on almost every play. Tony Romo's clown *ss talking about "sticky coverage" the whole game. Yeah, sticky as in that KC $$$ keeping those penalty flags stuck in the refs' pocket. Did Allen set the world on fire in either game? No, but damn if the deck wasn't stacked against him in both cases, the latter especially.
