  1. He wouldn't make it to the practice squad because he would have to first clear waivers. He's not clearing waivers.
  2. If our defense is a top 5 unit this season like it was prior to last year, and we have last year's offense to go with it this year, then get ready ladies and gents because the Lombardi is finally coming home where it belongs.
  3. Everything we're seeing on the field from the Bills at this point is as vanilla as it gets. It's not even Breyer's Natural Vanilla, it's more like the Great Value Vanilla. These guys are just out here to get some work in and get used to live game speed. In actuality I'd bet the coaches already have an idea of everyone making the roster except for maybe 5 total slots that are truly up for grabs. I've liked the Stevenson pick from the jump. I've always thought that he has the potential to be what Foster could have been. Stevenson tracks the ball better in the air though and has that ST's value to go along with being a burner.
  4. At this point, from all of the camp reports and how he looked the other day, they need to give him some run with the 1's. His athleticism alone and what they can do with that makes him a better option than Dalton if you ask me.
  5. This should be merged with the "overreaction" thread.
  6. Rousseau is gonna be a problem. Bass is such an asset. Harry looked good. Hamlin flashed out there. Stevenson has the chance to be what Foster should have been.
  7. @YoloinOhio oh ye of little faith in Fromm
  8. Here comes the Jake Fromm signature moment
  9. That Reynolds kid looks pretty good. Nice agility, good patience, and a burst when he hits the hole.
  10. I've seen Bates and Doyle out there straight whiffing on their guys as well. It's never a good thing when you see your OL'men's nameplates when the camera is facing the QB
  11. Our backups on the OL look like complete sh*t
  12. I like how the announcers first words after the incompletion are "no flag". Even they're expecting it
  13. The refs are in regular season form throwing the flags on us already
  14. You can tell the daily races against Josh has really helped Webb grow as a player
  15. Time for Jake Fromm State Farm to make an appearance?
  16. This NFL Network broadcast from top to bottom is pretty horrendous. First the two clowns they have in the studio. Then having to listen to the Lions broadcasters. After that, plugging the fact they're showing 7 games every 8 seconds, like we didn't get it after the first 10 times they said it.
  17. I don't think he's allowed to unless it's clear
  18. I swear Rappaport just called Carlos Basham, Carol Basham.
  19. I think the biggest potential for a washout is Wilson for the Jets. First because he was the #2 overall pick and second the tire fire that has been the Jets organization itself for quite some time now. They always go after the biggest/best OL FA's every year and every year it's swing-and-a-miss. By the time that dust settles they're trying to plug holes with 3rd tier options. At the same time, in watching his college film, I saw an accurate QB with a bit of Rodgers to him with Wilson. The biggest worry with him is his size. He's hovering around 200lbs and is not going to hold up if he's continually getting hit. I honestly think that Lance is in the best situation out of all the QB's drafted and that he's most likely to be the best QB of the class. We have all seen how much coaching matters with Josh and Lance couldn't ask for a better teacher of the game than Shanahan. He's maximized every QB handed to him. Lance also has a dynamic skillset that Shanahan with get to toy with. None of his prior QB's have had this kind of athleticism outside of Robert Griffin III. Lance is built with a much bigger frame and a stronger arm than Griffin had as well. Lawrence and Meyer paired together? Meh, I like Trevor's chances better once Meyer steps away or gets fired. Justin Fields has everything that you would want, but he's basically playing for a lame duck GM and coach. That could hurt his development. Mac Jones is the highest floor, lowest ceiling QB of the bunch. He's smart, he's accurate, but there's nothing that you see him do that makes you say "wow" really. He will likely be a serviceable starter for NE in that McDaniels offense, dinking and dunking his way down the field. Reminds me of a Pennington type of QB.
