Look at Tannehill when he escaped Gase in Miami. Look at Darnold now that he escaped Gase in NY. The Jets are gonna Jets and they have been an exercise in futility since their little run with Rex. But Adam Gase has to be one of the worst HC'ing hires ever made by an organization, and it happened twice. The Jets as a whole just can't seem to get anything right really. They whiff on all the big FA's they chase for their OL and then settle for mediocre. The big names they do sign who could possibly make an impact either end up mailing it in after getting that $$$ or they end up on IR. Curse, voodoo, blatant stupidity, idk, but they're still a dumpster fire over there.

Not really sure how this pertains to what I said when I noted he's gotten no favors from the OL or Daboll. I also said I expect him and our offense to get better as the year rolls along. I still hold to the thought that Allen is so competitive that he's pushing a bit right now though. That will wear off as the season goes along, as long as the OL does their job.

My opinion on Allen? He just signed a huge contract and it's in the back of his mind. He is such a competitor that right now he's trying to live up to expectations that come along with that contract. So in my humble opinion he looks to be feeling the pressure of living up to the hype. The OL is not doing him any favors, nor is Dabol right now with his play calling. Josh is a guy who seems to excel most when he gets into a rhythm early then it carries through the rest of the game. Dabol needs to call the game like that early so Josh can get those quick hitters and intermediate routes going. Dabol also needs to use more motion, like he did last year. It doesn't seem like they are right now to me. The OL also needs to keep the man from getting hit every 3 drop backs. I think Josh will be fine and this team will only get better with each passing week. To all of the people looking for reasons to jump off of the wagon? ✌️✌️

This is the absolute WORST officiating group I have ever seen in this Dallas/LAC game. I don't think the Bills even get jobbed as bad as LAC has gotten jobbed today.

It's one game and it was the first week of the season. The last couple of years we have played the Steelers towards the end of the year, when injuries are starting to catch up with teams. One game was against Duck Hodges and the other with their defense missing a few key guys. This year it was first week of the year and they were at full strength. Coaching and OL play cost us that game, as well as some untimely penalties. I still think we have a team that can compete with any in the NFL, but our guys up front are going to have to give Josh time. They blitzed on a very limited basis and our front couldn't handle 4 guys for most of the game. It was bad. Let's see where this team is at in December because they usually tend to get stronger as the season goes along.

So, this evening I had a wake to go to and decided to do the fast food thing on the way home. Stopped at the local McDonald's, that was packed of course. Two drive thru lines wrapped around the building. I noticed there was this black Camaro in front of me that had two blue racing stripes. In the middle of the back glass was a solid blue Bills sticker. On the trunk of the car she had "BUFFALO" on one side of the Chevrolet symbol and "BILLS" on the other. I use a neck gaiter for a mask at work and it's a Buffalo Bills one I bought online. I waited till I saw her glancing back in the mirror and put it out the window so she could see it. We both smiled, nodded, and pointed at each other. After that we sat in line for a few more minutes until we placed our orders. She was directly in front of me. When I pull up to the window the cashier hands me a receipt, points, and says, "the lady in that car paid for your food." I honked the horn and waved as she drove off around the side of the building. It may not be much to some, but it was appreciated and reminded me about how Bills fans are just built different. I've never seen her or that car before in my life. But because of that connection my kids and I received a free meal this evening. Donations to other players from opposing team's charities, Children's hospitals, paying it forward, just goes to show how Bills fans are the best in all of sports.
