I'm sure most of us all had that childhood best friend we spent a lot of time with as kids. Do you still have any contact with that person today? If not when did you drift apart from that friend? I was super close with mine all throughout childhood, to the point people would get our names mistaken for each others lol. We lived in the same neighborhood and met in the 1st grade. We hung out all the time, sleepovers you name it. Our families even became very close. So yeah best friends who talked and hung out all the time through all of Elementary school and maybe halfway into Middle School. I'd say by the end of middle school the seeds were planted that we were starting to branch out and go our separate ways. We still talked and remained friends with each other through high school but by then the dynamic had changed and it wasn't the same. A part of the problem too was by the end of high school his parents went through a divorce and both did their own thing so that killed the families hanging out dynamic. I have literally only run into him one time after high school and even that was probably about 13 years ago. The funny thing is we both live in the same general hometown area so it's surprising I haven't run into him more often as anybody who lives in WNY will tell you it's a pretty small world around here. It's crazy how at one stage of life you can be so close to somebody and then they become a complete stranger or memory of the past. I hope someday we cross paths again and can take a stroll down memory lane.

He actually came out and said that in the public? I don't remember this lol. By then we were already well into the polished press conference era. If a coach said that in the 80s or 90s I wouldn't be shocked in the least but I'm surprised that happened at that point haha

Although not the ultimate goal yet you need to celebrate the little accomplishments along the way...and this is certainly one of them. Go Bills!

Was just talking to family and it looks like we are shelving the Christmas Even plans for tomorrow. I'll probably just end up watching the football games all day tomorrow. We are still shooting to gather on Sunday as of right now. How is the storm affecting your Christmas?

I do think there’s an element of ‘there’s snow, let’s throw it’. Kid stuff nostalgic stuff. I can live with that. Bingo...this is what it felt like to me. Not the same as Philly fans putting batteries inside of Snowballs and pelting them at Players. I was sitting in the 100 level and saw Bills fans get hit with snow coming from the Upper Deck and they just laughed it off. It was just a festive atmosphere after all this hype of a Saturday night primetime game against Miami that was going to be a Snowgame.

Right! I vividly remember a Patriots game in the early 2000s Brady era(very early part of the run but I can't remember what year specifically) that had the same thing going on. This is back when the Bills were absolutely pathetic and I remember watching the visual and seeing how cool it looked and being jealous of them at the time. Second point and I'm sure this is going to be an unpopular opinion on here but I think social media etc. is making it sound like everybody that was throwing snow was deliberately trying to hit players with intent to injure but from my perspective being at the game it was much, much more playful and innocent. The snow was soft not "ice balls" and people were just tossing it around whenever the Bills made a big play(think of it as throwing confetti). Nobody was really upset or pissed about it in my section people were just kinda laughing and going along with it. I get maybe from watching on TV it probably looks pretty bad but from being there in the moment it really wasn't a bunch of degenerates out to hurt people. That's my two cents about the matter.

I see a lot of people saying they don't care about this and I get it life moves on but I can honestly say I was pretty disappointed and shocked as I heard the news while heading to the stadium. Over the recent years with the Pats and Chiefs I thought it would be the 4 straight Super Bowl appearances record in jeopardy. My brother texted me saying that was the last thing he would've expected heading into the games this weekend lol. The Bills are really known for two defining achievements in the modern era of the NFL...the 4 straight Super Bowls and the Greatest Comeback game. I agree that the Bills game was much more important and impressive being a playoff game against a good team missing key starters but in the record books we will no longer be able to claim the fame. The other thing that I find sad about it is we were just a few weeks shy of celebrating the 30 year anniversary. Oh well I'll get over it but I can't say to me it is no big deal or that I don't care.

Nobody's getting out quickly tomorrow night...so glad they moved this game to Saturday night instead of Sunday night though

I was never familiar with it before but after so many mentions here I gave the movie Love Actually a shot...and it was a struggle for me! I had to watch it in installments over the last 3 days because I had so much trouble getting into it! Kept waiting for it to get better but man that one did nothing for me. What am I missing!?

Buffalo to Denver by Plane

Dan Marino said Buffalo was the hardest place to play for him on Inside the NFL years ago now. I think back then we had the undisputed home field advantage. We used to go 8-0 Home sometimes during the Super Bowl years.
