  1. LOL! Sadly, you're absolutely right as this this much more in character with Duke's contributions...
  2. I never believe a word that LaCanfora publishes...
  3. Better supersize his "Yes Sir" bands. In fact, Rex should make him wear a pair on his ankles for good measure...
  4. That's because the Prime Directive of the Interweb is the large contingent of posters who invariably think (1) the unknown is better than the known, (2) the other guy is always better--just because, and (3) they'd make a great [fill in the blank--in this case NFL GM] if only somebody would give them a shot...
  5. This just in: NO team has quality, veteran "I just play RB and nothing else" depth at the 3rd or 4th RB position. That said, Boobie at $1.27 million is an even worse value, given his recent production...
  6. Fail to make the HC remember his name...
  7. Opposing defenses playing closer to the LOS and not respecting the speed of the Bills RBs to get to the edge has a lot to do with the ineffective line play, IMO. It's up to Roman and TT to 'back the D off' and not allow the safeties to cheat up in run support. Having Goodwin back may be more important than Kromer in that regard...
  8. The Seahawks must be all silently thanking the Bills for keeping the dreaded 'undisciplined' label off them. I'll bet they sure sleep better at night because of it...
  9. More like, look at the 7 and 8 men in the box they faced...
  10. All it takes is Martha Ford getting jazzed about it, apparently.... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/11/talk-intensifies-among-owners-for-correcting-clear-errors/
  11. At what point do most Wallers put certain posters on 'ignore?' SDS' server space needs would be halved and TSW would be a lot better place...
  12. It should be 'beyond a reasonable doubt' But it seems more and more, they 'intuit' what happened, even if they didn't have a great look at the play. If you're going to overturn blown judgement calls on fumbles, catch/no catch, in bounds/out, then I have no problem going to replay challenges on incorrect personal foul calls like this...
  13. Or the way the refs back in Steve's day called things. Ah, the good old days...
  14. Not only that, but his interpretation of the rule was wrong... http://uaasnfl.blob.core.windows.net/live/1807/2015_nfl_rule_book_final.pdf
  15. Thanks for linking that site, it's new to me...
  16. A better idea would be for Kelly to point his cursor in the upper right hand corner, click your user name and then the last drop down option. Quickly...
  17. Bupkis. Here's the NFL rule book (see page 8, section 20): http://uaasnfl.blob.core.windows.net/live/1807/2015_nfl_rule_book_final.pdf "A player is Offside when any part of his body or his person is in the Neutral Zone, or is beyond his free kick line, or fair catch kick line when the ball is put in play, unless he is a holder of a placekick for a free kick (6-1-3-b-1) or fair catch kick (11-4-3), or a kicker (6-1-3-b-2). The snapper is offside if any part of his body is beyond the neutral zone. The kicker is not offside unless his kicking foot is beyond his Restraining Line when the ball is kicked." Easley was offside...
  18. Huh? That's a big cop out. It's the players responsibility to not go offsides. Full stop. Just dumb play, even if the timing was off...
  19. I don't know. Belichick has never tried to make Brady a roll out QB and that's worked out OK I think it hurts guys like Harvin and even Clay to run too conventional a passing game. I hope the key is really getting Sammie and Shady back so we can become multi-dimensional once again...
  20. Play to your strengths, make other teams adjust to stop it. I thought that was the reasoning behind why this offense was assembled the way it was. Now we're using vanilla pocket-based schemes and wondering why we're strugging. To be fair, Harvin appears to be struggling as a one and Woods isn't scaring anyone as the two. (also, where's that motion / mis-direction running game we heard about? Running a conventional I formation doesn't match the preseason rhetoric it seems).
  21. On the national scene, it will indeed be an upset if they lose...
  22. What's doubly odd is that our WRs, TEs and RBs are perfectly suited to having a moving pocket/run on the throw offense as well. Why we're running a conventional NFL pocket passing scheme is a mystery to me...
  23. Was the flag thrown after the fumble?
  24. No research necessary...
