  1. Nope. But savvy timing on NASA's part to capitalize on what's sure to be a hit movie about Mars exploration and science nerds...
  2. Is that a good or bad thing?...
  3. Yeah, that post was priceless... "Yet the questionable selections of Darby and especially Williams will overshadow the other work the Bills did in this draft. There weren't pressing needs at either cornerback or running back, so the Bills will be wedging two players of questionable character onto their depth chart..." Yep. Probably after the London game if they get blown out by the Jests...
  4. So true. Didn't read the OP (since I can't see it) but I think we're supposed to feel sorry for him and all the guys who don't know the secret TSW handshake...
  5. https://www.google.com/search?q=mirror&rlz=1C1CAFB_enUS628US628&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=643&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAmoVChMI4Z_K1diQyAIVhgWSCh0xaApc
  6. "Castoff" is way too pejorative, IMO. Players signed off the PS have to be added to the active roster. The Bills may have wanted to keep developing him there but with their DL had no spots on the active 53. Not much they can do if another team comes dangling a contract...
  7. Ha Ha Ha!! I can't even think of a good caption right now with those headlights shining in my eyes.... (plus, that's a not very good photoshop)
  8. Agree on both points. Fitz can win a game in September but it's doubtful he can carry the team in November and December. He's a finished product, whereas TT has the potential to get better (as does Rex's game planning)...
  9. While the humor value is always there, giving Jerry the "clicks" will keep him employed. If you want to partake in the fun, check out the newsprint version (preferably someone else's used copy)....
  10. Things change. If Romo doesn't break his shoulder then Cassel is still here, IMO. Also, where was it ever written that Matt made 'demands' to be the backup? I'd like to see a link on that...
  11. I agree. It's always problematic hovering over a link wondering if it's a story by Sully or the Buckster...
  12. The OP posted this thread...
  13. Not really. He just has an incredibly low opinion of his readers. Just like Bucky said, they'e all belligerent, vulgar mouth breathers...
  14. Yep, just like death and taxes...
  15. Huh? How about 300 feet. All you have to do is get across the river, as the stadium shown in that law firm's mailing would be on the opposite bank of the river from this photo. There would be all kinds of water taxis, etc to shuttle people back and fourth..
  16. Just like Bills fans and Charlie Brown. They get too enthusiastic and think this time it's going to happen, and then watch Lucy pull the ball away...
  17. Come down in the summer. Buffalo River Fest Park is there now. And while it's small, it's very nice: http://thevalleycenter.com/buffalo-river-fest-park/ https://www.google.com/search?q=buffalo+river+fest+park&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=909&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAmoVChMI-e2PooeOyAIVCJeICh0Q3AyN
  18. The site in the law firm's letter is right across the Buffalo River from the new Riverworks complex which is becoming a really neat addition to the waterfront... https://www.google.com/search?q=buffalo+riverworks+development+bar+hockey&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=909&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMIseWqwoSOyAIVSJqICh2JMgFA
  19. The map included with that law firm's letter actually is the best site, IMO. It's right on the Buffalo River within easy walking distance of Canalside and the First Niagara Center (which looks like it will be getting a new name soon...sigh). Parking would be tight but if they extend the trolly line another mile you could build shuttle lots all over the Old First Ward... The old train station is SOL for ever being developed IMO. It's just too far removed from any other development to be a magnet for new $$$...
  20. More "typical Walmart shoppers" as well.... https://www.google.com/search?q=typical+walmart+shopper&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=909&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMIrNqin4KOyAIVSpeICh1wjAUV#imgrc=_
  21. No. Chef's is on Seneca Street which is north of that location. The Chef's site would be the absolutely worst location possible for the stadium as it does nothing to leverage the waterfront development that has already taken place... https://www.google.com/maps/place/291+Seneca+St,+Buffalo,+NY+14204/@42.8762429,-78.869797,17z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x89d3123ebb1648a5:0x64162a850bbd4e1
  22. Since that's the population distribution of the U.S., you're right. But IMO, the southwest was a wasteland before Willis Carrier invented air conditioning and would empty out just as fast as the Northeast if it wasn't available... In the stands? I wouldn't put it past some of those fans...
  23. What does that even mean? The same could be said about any area with $hitty weather part of the year...
