  1. We're the ying to Chip Kelly's yang...
  2. Cundiff's career average (76.2%) is about equal to Carpenter's worst season (73.2%, 2010) and eight point below his career average (82.2%). If the want to look at alternatives, they need better competition than this...
  3. Yes. However, am I supposed to feel better about that?
  4. I'm referring to the backup situation...
  5. Which again is akin to 'sitting in your basement' and going off of last year's media guide. Anybody that watched the 'exhibition' games could see there was progress at the QB position this summer. Maybe it won't translate into the regular season, maybe it will. But to not even acknowledge it was lazy. The national pundits simply write these stories without doing any work and hoe to a group think narrative. Why then should they even be given even passing creedance by fans?
  6. Urbik (journeyman), Kujo (unknown) and Ikard (unknown). "Much improved" is a leap of faith, just like Richardson (unknown), Williams (bad back, FA bust) and Hairston (coming off a mystery illness) were the year before...
  7. I call B.S. on this guy. Anybody old enough to be a 50-year fan wouldn't know Public Enemy from One Direction...
  8. Agree 100%. I'm glad Urbik showed he couldn't handle the snapping in time for Whaley to address the roster. Having a competent center is incredibly important with two young QBs and two new guards. The praise Jimbo gave Kent Hull all during the glory years was absolutely true...
  9. Agreed. Past performance is always a good predictor of future outcomes. Untill it isn't. That's why these 'stories' are such a farce...
  10. I like Ikard's intangibles but he's yet to prove a thing at the NFL level. To be honest, the same could be said of Miller. It will be a 'hold your breath' first half of the season, IMO...
  11. The takeaway I get from Barnwell's 'piece' is that if your team was bad in the past, it will be in the future. No one in the national media ever gets criticised for that kind of analysis, it just comes with the territory. I'm sure his top tier teams will all be the usual suspects as well...
  12. Not really. He' has two left feet and is going to have that surgically corrected in the off season...
  13. "There's more ... the piece is also equipped with a magnetic strip inside the guard so it will stick to Tyrod's helmet...." Wow, metal helmet. I knew the players would go rogue after deflategate, but that's really pushing it...
  14. Horrible analysis. Another guy who sat in his basement and wrote something without watching any camp or exhibition games....
  15. Different schools. Monmouth College (Tanney) and Monmouth University (Hogan)...
  16. That rougue Whaley. Now when Tanney throws a ball in the hospitality tent the media will just ooh and ahh....
  17. Now that Matt's signed with ATL, maybe they should look at Phillip....
  18. Likely kicking the tires on Tanney, given the tweet earlier today that they were looking at QBs in addition to Simms for the PS.... NFL Draft Diamonds ‏@DraftDiamonds 5h5 hours ago Im hearing the Bills were talking to several quarterbacks for their practice squad. NFL Draft Diamonds ‏@DraftDiamonds 21m21 minutes ago That is who I heard the Bills asked a out, Alex Tanney, Phillip Sims and One other. Tanney is en route to B-Lo. Was with Bills before 2 retweets2 favorites
  19. Likely a response to Urbik's piss poor snapping in the Detroit game. They aren't looking at a street FA to replace Wood a week before the season starts. LOL on that idea...
  20. He had a really tough summer... http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2015/9/4/9261265/eagles-john-moffitt-broncos-seahawks-offensive-lineman
  21. ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 10m10 minutes ago Former Seahawks C Lemuel Jeanpierre has visited the Bills, per league source. However, Not likely to sign, according to PFT: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/06/jeanpierre-visits-bills/
