  1. Way to man up and clear the air, guys...
  2. Letting go is hard for Jimbo. This will be interesting to watch play out, especially with coach McD trying to build a new culture...
  3. Ahhhhhhhhh. I just spit my coffee out of my nose.
  4. Not part of the process... Gotta just step away
  5. Man, you're a piece of work. How many hours a day do you sit in front of a keyboard posting on TSW??

  7. Let's agree to disagree. If, say, 200 Villanueva jerseys were sold, that's still small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. Not some kind of groundswell, as the article seems to imply... Some perspective from earlier this year: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000822076/article/rookie-james-conner-has-nfls-hottestselling-jersey Or this http://money.cnn.com/2016/09/06/news/companies/colin-kaepernick-jersey-nfl/index.html?iid=EL
  8. Ohh... that sound impressive. But if they sell 200 jersey's a day, 201 ain't that big a deal. And I like the guy, BTW. Just saying this is very sloppy journalism...
  9. So, is it 2? 200? 2,000? Not clear to me, without context...

  11. Without sales statistics, it's hard to judge what this means. Villanueve seems like a really interesting guy, BTW. I'm sure we'll be hearing more from him this week...
  12. You're part of the problem, and you don't even see it...
  13. Ah, I see. Yes, I agree, the thread title is very misleading....
  14. That's my thought as well. How can Jimbo preach unity and then say he's lost respect for a specific player? That's antithetical to his whole argument, but seems totally like Jim in that he's can't see the irony in what he saying...
  15. He's made tremendous progress. Last year, I thought he might have been the worst guy on the 53-man roster. He couldn't run a route to save his life early in the year and just seemed overwhelmed. The light bulb seems to have come on for him...
  16. Per ESPN: http://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/buf/buffalo-bills "A passionate Jim Kelly told 97Rock in Buffalo he lost respect Sunday for LeSean McCoy after McCoy stretched his legs while kneeling during the national anthem. "I like LeSean McCoy, don't get me wrong, but I totally, 100 percent I disagree with what he did," Kelly said. "You want to kneel? Fine. But when you go and do what he did yesterday, that sort of bummed me out. And I lost a lot of respect for him."
  17. Kyle has been sensational this year, and was again yesterday. On Denver's final play, he had a tremendous inside push that caused Siemian to move around in the pocket and make a bad throw. The camera guy focused on Kyle after the play when his teammates were congratulating him for helping to blow up that pass, but the announcers never said anything about it. He's been a big part of the glue on the defense through three games...
  18. Yep. Kap's not saying he's oppressed--far from it. He's trying to call attention to the issue of unequal treatment of people who are citizens of a nation that says "All men are created equal." I hope that's what you were serving in the military for...not for protecting a symbol like the flag, that's simply the 'wrapper on the box', but for the ideals laid out by the Constitution and Bill of Rights--the contents of the box, if you will, and what makes America so special. And thank you for your service...
  19. Man, I had to take you off ignore to respond to this...but that's just about the worst thing I've ever read on TSW (and that's saying a lot).
  20. Agree totally. It's human nature to reflexively think "I'm right, you're wrong." It take's a lot more effort to put yourself in someone else's shoes and say maybe both points of view are valid--and not be offended by "differing" beliefs....
  21. Not on the second one. That's a "throw it in the seats" for even HS quarterbacks...
  22. Yep...Week 1 is driving the trend. Hard to watch TV when you're under water. http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/nfl-ratings-hurricane-irma-1202559149/ http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/nfl-tv-ratings-viewership-nbc-cbs-fox-espn-nfln-regular-season-playoffs/
  23. Yikes! Watch out Nielsen, there's a new comptetitive threat nipping at your heels...
  24. Ahhh! Same here....
