  1. Amen to that. Productivity was a LOT higher back before the Interwebs as well...
  2. Hasn't he said that about every single player since day 1?
  3. I thought Tim Graham's 9/30 piece "For NFL coaches, navigating anthem debate..." was excellent and the type of content I'd like to see more of. It was timely and provided good insight into the player's thoughts. A weekly (or more frequent) long-form piece that doesn't just regurgitate coach-speak or player sound bites--along the lines of MMQB / SI content--would go a long way toward justifying the paywall fee. This would involve national outreach and tapping into perspectives beyond the walls of One Bills Drive, but that's exactly what would elevate Bills Blitz beyond the standard daily coverage already being done.
  4. I never get this attitude. I wish Watson, Trubisky or any other young QB nothing but the best. The fans of these downtrodden teams deserve some great football, just as Bills fans do. And if we want the NFL to be a strong, viable league, a higher percentage of these franchise draft choices finding success is good for the game...
  5. Likely a one week stop gap move. I suspect they'll be working hard to have a better WR solution coming out of the bye week...
  6. That applies to a lot more than rock music critiques...
  7. He played 92% of the defensive snaps through the first three games (180 of 196). Even with his injury in the Atlanta game, he's at 85% for the season so far (229 of 271). Not too shabby, IMO... https://www.buffalorumblings.com/pages/2017-snap-counts
  8. That story just blows me away...
  9. Such a $hity day. RIP, Tom, My heart is breaking too...
  10. I will agree that you are that....
  11. I hope his supporting cast is up to it...
  12. The biggest stat that matters (beyond W/L): http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total/sort/totalPointsPerGame/position/defense
  13. Agreed. He was a step down but it was remarkable how the coaching staff seemed to cover up for him. I'd expect teams to attack him in the run game since he's undersized and a rookie. Not a good trend to have the injury bug bite just when they've got some momentum...
  14. Agree to a point. The lack of offensive turnovers has also been huge, and TT gets a large amount of credit for that. Still, this is a tough, tough way to win in the NFL week in and week out...
  15. Unusual for the home team to lose both of those game-changing plays. Did you have an angle on the Ryan fumble different from what the TV broadcast had?
  16. Tolbert's chief problem seems to be that he thinks he's a RB, when in fact he's a FB. Sort of like the Saint Bernard that thinks he's a Greyhound....
  17. I thought the two video challenges that went the Bills way were very questionable calls. But in a universe where we've spent the past 50 years getting screwed in those situations, I'm glad it was time we got a break...
  18. Using his right thumb for the last time this season....
  19. So, the world's highest cover charge. Lol....
  20. Seems odd to spend a hundred bucks to stand in line for over-priced, watered down beer. Must be a new thing...
  21. Lol. Welcome to TSW, Mrs. Jones. NFL players all put on their big boy pants when they step on the field and can be criticized for less than stellar play, rookie or vet. I've seen enough to know when to criticize and when it is true growing pains and right now, Zay's play is a bit of both...
