  1. Huh. I guess memory makes the heart grow fonder. Hunter played 12 games for the Bills last year and had 4 TDs. He started 5 games and had 10 catches overall or about two per game... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HuntJu00.htm
  2. Drones and VR headsets. You heard it here first....
  3. March 2017... You're right. Football isn't complicated. Being able to repeat something over and over with no uncertainty, variation or inconsistency -- in other words, what professional sports teams have to do to be successful week in and week out -- that is sort of difficult. Talent tends to rise to the top, but practice, repetition and communication are a big part of the equation...
  4. The missed red zone pass to Logan Thomas might be a picture perfect example of this. TT's tentativeness may have been due to his uncertainty over what Thomas was going to do--stay flat or turn up field. Neither guy seemed to be on the same page...
  5. Kyle's averaged 4.3 sacks per season over his career (41.5 in 156 games), so I'm not sure why people think he's a sack master. His best year was 10.5 in 2013. After that, the best was 5.5 in 2010: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WillKy20.htm He remains a solid contributor in my opinion, with his Denver game being his best performance in several years. He was a difference maker in that game, especially on the final toss by Siemian that went incomplete because Kyle blew up the pocket. Of the multitude of issues this team faces, KW is near the bottom of the list IMO...
  6. McCoy had four negative yardage runs against the Bengals--one in the first half and three in the second. I took you off ignore to point this out, and now back on you go...
  7. Who needs five, Sign this guy and he can do double duty....
  8. That's my take as well. Probably the reason Zay Jones is struggling so badly as well. He might be so focused on running the routes as they're drawn up that he's having a hard time with sight adjustments (and catching the damn ball, of course)...
  9. The design of this defense may also have something to do with that. The DTs may have more responsibility over gap control and staying in a lane than in the past when they could freelance more. That may be working againt Dareus as well. Kyle's pass rush strength has always been shooting a gap and beating his man inside. But that occasionally left huge rush lanes when he guessed wrong and essentially resulted in a boom-bust play. It seems like the pass rush this year is predicated on clogging the middle and letting the ends apply the pressure...
  10. I could have sworn he said something about Thomas. Maybe it was in a recap somewhere else in the broadcast. Or I'm just losing more marbles...
  11. I think after he saw the replay Beuelein realized that Thomas screwed up.
  12. On a pass rush? Nobody goes low on a pass rush. The OL stand up and punch and the DL all do twists, stunts and bull rushes. If the DL get stymied, they put their hands up to knock down balls....
  13. Agreed. Thomas has to recognize that coverage better and adjust his route accordingly. He kept the patten flat when he should have turned upfield. By the time he realizes what TT wants him to do, it's all over. Beuerlein said the same thing...
  14. But...but...but...what about the QB to DL height ratio? Are we going to ask those DLs to all bend over a bit so TT can see better?
  15. Uh...wouldn't a shorter OL let a taller D-line get a better look in the backfield and just swat balls down easier? Lack of throwing lanes, not height, is a problem that needs to be addressed somehow....
  16. I'm not going to jump off the cliff over a missed tackle or a bogus defensive holding call (how many times has a DT ever had that called). The interior DL kept the middle clogged and Dalton was forced to scramble multiple times to the outside. The fact Dalton was able to make plays on the run (and TT couldn't) was a big part of that win. After a loss, it's a hoot how bad the players all become in the eyes of TSW... (Figures you're a March 2017 as well)
  17. Yes, he does look very bad. I saw him multiple times over the years and that just did not look right. He actually looks much worse in the song right before American Girl (Benmont Tench gives him a very concerned look at one point and folds his hands together): https://youtu.be/4WNHB8vROg4 Tough, tough image to think about....
  18. Yeah, those 65 rushing yards they gave up to the Bengals show how over-matched the interior D-line was...
  19. Nah. Just $$$$$$$$. He wants starter money and playing time...
  20. You are a March 2017, however....
  21. They're still pissed because they couldn't help Trump buy them...
  22. 6-0. The kid's just that good...
