And play man on man. White was touted as being a great fit in McD's zone scheme. But what's been really noticeable thee games in is that he's scheme-agnostic and can play any way they need. That's a BIG positive for such a tough position...

No push in the run game, lots of pressure given up on the pass rush. TT bailed him out a few times on what would have been sacks with a less mobile QB. Still a rookie. Still a work in progress...

QB has to make better decisions in those circumstanstance. I'm happy he did not....

Playing in the SEC and Pac-10 is a bit higher level of competition than the American Athletic Conference. I'm sure Woods and Sammy were a lot more comfotrtable playing on a big NFL stage as rookies than Zay has appeard so far...

Very gutty win. The most complete game they've played in a long time. The team is playing for each other, which is a big tip of the hat to coach McD and his "process." Still, I'm concerned about the OL's effectiveness. They may not face another defense as good as Denver's for a while, but are likely to see a lot of 7-8 man fronts until the passing game becomes more of a threat. Right now the run blocking and/or scheme (too much stretch, IMO) just isn't getting it done, which is a heavy load for TT to carry. He stepped up today, but can he do it week in and week out? Still an open question...

He's had some attempts that would be difficult for seasoned vets. That ball that bounced off his hands in the EZ today was catchable, but tough nevertheless. Still, it bears watching. I thought his technique was weak on the ball he droped in the Carolina game--jumped unnecessarily and/or too soon, making the attempt that much harder than it needed to be.
