  1. Big Whoop. I wouldn't go to Buffalo either if I was in AB's position. Picking the city and organization you work for is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any pro football player...
  2. Man, they'd convict him in under a minute if this the best he can do with all his money... https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/patriots/2019/03/26/robert-kraft-patriots-owner-wants-jury-trial-sex-spa-case/3280866002/
  3. But what will Schopp and the Bulldog say about Pgh? Heavens to Murgatroyds!....
  4. No. When you find lock down corners, you don't trade them. Especially when they're still on their first contract...
  5. Seems a bit light in the pants (304 lbs) for an OG....
  6. The music is what matters the most to me. I realize some of the older bands still touring are more like cover outfits, but if the musicianship is high, the music speaks for itself. The same way classical or jazz does. I don't need Beethoven or Bill Evans to be there in person to enjoy Symphony No. 9 or Waltz For Debby...
  7. Circulation: Niagara Gazette 10,500 daily and 10,700 Sunday (although they just announced plans to drop the Sunday edition ) Buffalo News 138,900 daily and 204,500 Sunday
  8. Sadly, no more quarter mile for the nitro cars--they just run 1,000 feet now. Top speeds are being held in the 330 range for insurance and tire safety purposes. The #1 top fuel qualifier at the recent Gatornationals, Brittany Force, ran a 3.68 second pass at 326 mph. https://www.nhra.com/results/2019/nhra-mello-yello-drag-racing-series/22976/qualifying-order
  9. Lancaster Speedway is for sale and might go dark unless local attorney Paul Cambria follows through on his plan to buy it: https://www.wivb.com/news/local-news/attorney-paul-cambria-considering-purchase-of-lancaster-speedway/1826586423 Drag racing in general is going downhill as its core participant base ages out. While guys like Mike Janis and Jimmy Oddy are still around, it seems like the sport is on borrowed time. I just went to the Gatornationals in Gainesville FL (one of the premier NHRA races in the country) and it felt like a nursing home convention...
  10. Isn't that how the general posting sentiment on TSW goes as well?...
  11. Bupkis. Anybody that gets tossed off a plane is going to be "mortified." How about saying "get off my lawn" while you're at it... mor·ti·fy /ˈmôrdəˌfī/ verb past tense: mortified; past participle: mortified 1. cause (someone) to feel embarrassed, ashamed, or humiliated. "she was mortified to see her wrinkles in the mirror" synonyms: embarrass, humiliate, chagrin, shame, discomfit, abash, horrify, appall, crush "I'd be mortified if my friends found out I was learning ballroom dancing" 2. subdue (the body or its needs and desires) by self-denial or discipline. "return to heaven by mortifying the flesh" synonyms: subdue, suppress, subjugate, control, restrain, get under control; More
  12. Not seeing anything in their "terms of service" about proper attire: https://www.thomascookairlines.com/en/fileadmin/dam/user_upload/tcauk-en/11_pdf/Thomascookairlines_com_Terms__Conditions__live_from_10_December_15___v9_.pdf
  13. I like the FA approach so far for the reasons mentioned in the OP. It will be interesting to see if targeting "strong complimentary" type players coming off their first contract rather than marquee/high price "I've heard of him!" guys will be a winning approach. The Pats have perfected this model but Brady the GOAT makes its replicability to other franchises a tough thing to judge. At some point, "stars" make the difference between SB winners and first round playoff losers. Right now, that's not something to worry about as a first round playoff loss would be a big achievement in and of itself for the Bills...
  14. Agree with everything you said, especially this. Repeating the same old "tastes great, less filling" ping pong is boring. This roster needs at least 4-5 new pieces to be in the playoff hunt next year. Until we get a look at what Botts has in mind, we'll just keep spinning our wheels talking about it...
  15. Well, if Clowney came here he wouldn't have to face Nsekhe any more:
  16. Fired up the Madden console and signed only players he's heard of, silly... P.S. quit feeding the trolls.
  17. I'd love me some Hockenson but I suspect they have to go defense (probably D-line) with that first pick, given all the resources they've spent on the O...
  18. They only like players they've heard of. Which is the same old "high price spread" the Bills served up before Beane...
  19. He'll likely get most of the $7.7 million in guaranteed money this year, meaning no dead cap if they cut him in 2020. If he works out, he'll then be on essentially a 1-year $7 million contract in 2020, with no dead cap in 2021.
