Death of the Hefty Lefty
BUFFALOTONE replied to RJ (not THAT RJ)'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Folks, don’t eat trash everyday, moderate yourself and exercise.. you don’t have to be a gym hero but move around. He ate terribly to say the least and it started at a young age. His mother admitted they never made home made meals and the family was enabling him as a youngster. From all accounts a good dude and very sad for his two youngsters. -
Chris Brown: Josh in No Huddle is Dialed in

I know but considering we have 30 TEs I thought this was more appropriate. -

PanchoBilla enters Hospice (Has now passed away)
BUFFALOTONE replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Very sad news. This young man seemed to captivate the team and embody the city even thought he wasn't a native WNYer. God bless him and his family during this extremely difficult time. And to the folks on this thread trashing other people for wanting to do something to be nice, bring awareness or financially support this man through his terrible ordeal you should absolutely be ashamed of yourself. Whining that you were here for the bad years when 90% of us have all been through the losses and continued losing. We can't help when we were born and became fans, but you being an older person should have enough class not to say anything at all. But yet here you are. -
I’ve seen his games. Nice player but tended to disappear in bigger games. Didn’t help that it seemed the QB and Head Coach has one foot out the door after a few crucial losses at the end. I give him credit for not mailing it in but people here calling him Theilen are waaaay off. Two differing players.

This is extremely sad. Although I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting this man I can’t help but root for him as not just a Bills fan but a human being. It breaks my heart to see those pics with his kids. I can’t imagine the pain they are all going through and wouldn’t wish that on anyone. We always posthumously say life is too short and I am going to stop sweating the small stuff and enjoy whatever time I have left, I know I have numerous times after a loved one or someone this young is so sick. This mans attitude towards his disease is truly inspirational. He’s literally fighting for his life and showing us incredible strength. I will pray for him and his family. God speed Poncho, rest easy now. Like a true Bills fan, never quit, never give up. -
DE, Brian Burns Should Be the Pick
BUFFALOTONE replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Coming from a huge FSU fan here I am rooting for the kid and your assessment is half right. I don't agree on Bosa, I think hes going to be an absolute stud. Burns disappeared in big games against very good talent. It will take him a few years to gain that weight and learn to use it properly. -
Bills one of 6 teams in on Leveon Bell

If we sign Bell which is a long shot there is no way we keep McCoy. -
Article for those obsessing about Metcalf
BUFFALOTONE replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He translates as more of a Terrell Owens to me. Same frame but a bit bigger. He was productive at Ole Miss and didn't have the greatest QBs throwing to him. IDK if he's top ten for the simple fact that interior/exterior Linemen and QBs will fill the voids. BTW Owens was 3% body fat and stayed healthy, even played in the Super Bowl with a broken foot after he did it the two weeks prior. -
Nope, he got his chance via a fully paid scholarship and the ability to work in a field with his degree. Dudes who usually beat up on women have a pre-conceived notion that they can continue. The NFL is a privilege to be selected, not a right. He's absolutely talented enough. Let me ask this question: What actual punishment did he receive for beating this lady up?

We are fooling ourselves to think past and present players weren't doing these sorts of things prior to the advancement of the cameral phone. Not painting a broad brush but to my knowledge and it's sad to say Hill wasn't caught on camera. That's the reality we live in and to answer your question I wouldn't want Hill either. I get everyone has a past but your wired a certain way and call me crazy but I don't think getting money, power and fame will help the cause, but would love to be proven wrong.

Miami Dolphins: HC Adam Gase fired (per NFL network)

Harbaugh to Miami. That’s been the talk for sometime. Ross is the largest UM alum and is enamored with Harbaugh. -
Sean McDermott: "Culture Trumps Strategy" ?
BUFFALOTONE replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Patriots have had a certain culture for years regardless of the player.... they don’t fit they don’t last long. Only difference is Belichek doesn’t talk about it the players do. That’s how you know it works. -
I Bet $5,000 on Minnesota. Should I Be Worried?
BUFFALOTONE replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why? I'm curious to hear why you think the Bills would cover the 17? -
I was pretty close! Parlayed with under in Temple game. Good way to start the week.

Jets will have played 3 games in 11 days....they were exposed by a mediocre Fins team. The Browns Defense is legit, they win going away 27-13.

Max Kellerman is a total jerk
BUFFALOTONE replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is very true. He was a huge baby in Miami, constantly needed coddling. He’s not mentally or physically tough, relied on his talent and that’s what got him this far. Good riddance and I hope Frazier gets his act together or follows him out. -
I already have my bet in on Bovada. Just making it interesting, I don’t bet with my heart. I’d gladly pay the 50 I laid for a win but I’m a realist. No amount of explanation outweighs the fact that we have a terrible OL, they return all of their starters on defense, we can’t stop the run and we are starting a QB on the road who last time he played in a meaningful game..... well you know what happened. It’s close for a maybe the first qtr but we lose 27-10. I love the under play here. I hope I’m wrong I will be watching but money is money. Forget the bet, but I’ll eat crow.

I’ll give you the 8.... what’s the wager?
