  1. A very interesting point Lori....it's interesting that both Mularkey and Killdrive..er..Gilbride have gone on to success with other franchises when they looked so inept on our sidelines.... Maybe it starts from the very top indeed...?
  2. Charley Casserly....here was a GM crucified for taking Williams over hometown hero Vince Young and Reggie Bush...in the end he had the last laugh and his work as GM via drafting and hiring a good young coach in Kubiak has got the Texans slowly turning the corner from expansion joke to contender. I mean, they were better than the Bills. Maybe Ralphie should give him a ring-a-ding and see if he'd work on the cheap. I'd like to see him here.
  3. Jauron apologists? You mean there's more than just Big Cat?
  4. For some reason, I have a feeling that the Eagles are going to lay an egg in Minnesota. I can see their defense completely rattling McNabb and giving him fits like the Skins D did. That and the Purple Machine are one of the few teams that can neutralize Westbrook taking away the only weapon McNabb has. As for the rest of the NFL...I'm thinking Goodell gets a late Christmas present and we get Manning vs. Manning in the Super Bowl.
  5. That's the one part of Trent's game that infuriates me. Lately, he's become Captain Checkdown v2.0. Take a look at the rollout play where he peeled out and just dumped it off to Fine for a 1 yard gain (in bounds). He holds that ball for a second more and looks downfield, Evans has separation and an easy touchdown. Trent's game has become dink and dunk to Reed and Evans (our deep play threat and #1 receiver) has become ineffective. Grow some balls and throw it downfield will you? 25 yards passing at the half was shameful. Wind or no wind, Kelly would have been in there giving a middle finger to Mother Nature. Trent is becoming like Holcomb when we need him to be more like Kelly. A leader on the field and the confidence to make the plays when we need them. He has the ability. How many times have we seen him throw a 20 yarder on a rope (like the Cleveland game pass to Royal)? We need more of that, instead of the two yard outs he's gotten comfortable throwing.
  6. Do we know what he was doing after the game? Maybe he had rehab on his shoulder scheduled, or maybe he went down to the locker room to hang with the guys or maybe there was a sale on at Wegman's. Speculating why he left and what that speaks is ridiculous. ESPECIALLY when the player in question is one of the only players on the team that gives it 110% on EVERY play. Him and Fred Jackson are two of the few bright spots on this team who truly embody "Bills Football" in their smashmouth play and camaderie on and off the field. If anything, why aren't we looking at our "glove-wearing Mary" and the rest of this team who hates practicing outside because its too cold and it might frost their noses? Thurman lost all credibility to me when he mentioned Jauron doing a good job. Who knew he was still thinking like a Dolphin?
  7. I know! That's why I'm so upset he categorized us with HIM!
  8. Other Dick-isms. "We just didn't execute." and my personal favorite: "The NFL is a tough league to win in."
  9. Pioli won't be hired because he wouldn't select "that Dwayne Wright kid" in the 4th round because Ralph wants him too. Ralph is a meddler and Pioli would only allow his GM and coach to weigh in on those types of decisions.
  10. In all fairness, coming out here and categorizing all who have valid and thought out reasons for his removal as HC (such as Bill in NYC, Kelly TFABD, myself, and numerous others) as "blowhards" so shortly after a game where his ineptitude came shining through one again makes me wonder about your sanity in goading a very faithful and very angry fan base who's had enough of the circus that is One Bills Drive. And how is a coaching change "nonsense"? When every talking head outside of Buffalo looks down upon us with pity because in any other city, in any other circumstance, Dick Jauron would be unemployed as of this morning, it leads me and many others to believe a coaching change is not only far from "nonsense" but is NECESSITY for this franchise. And why are you a defender of bandwidth now? I didn't know it was on the endangered species list or a natural resource that can be exhausted. This is a Bills Fans Message Board where every opinion can be heard and reacted upon. We have great moderators who are here to determine when things are excessive or should be controlled. No one has made you a moderator so its none of your damn business what people here want to talk about as much as it isn't mine. Please remove yourself off your pedestal and join us in wallowing in depths of desparity that fellow Bills fans are mired in because of this current regime.
  11. Wow. What a tough wager to make...especially when you got the knowledge that he signed a THREE YEAR EXTENSION and we have a notoriously cheap owner who wouldn't fire him just so he wouldn't have to pay him out... But keep puffing your chest out and wagging your e-penis like you're the man. Taking this bet would be like betting on the Generals to beat the Globetrotters. Life must be tough these days eh Mrs. Jauron? Nobody likes your husband save for the lazy players on his team.
  12. I see both the good and bad in Trent as I did in JP. I think Trent is good at quick decision making when getting blitzed or rushed but oddly, when given the time in the pocket, seems to struggle in getting the ball to his receivers and hesitates when he should make the throw. He has good velocity on his short to medium throws but when he goes deep, I tend to cringe and wonder if it will get underthrown. In good weather conditions, he can look All-Pro, and but when the weather sours, his play ranges from bad to terrible. Against a 4-3 or Cover 2, he's an all-star....against a 3-4, he's Ryan Leaf..... I think a lot of that can be fixed thru offseason work and good coaching which is why I'd like to see one more year out of the kid before I pass judgment on him. I just think its funny that some people think he's the cat's meow when he really hasn't done that much to warrant such praise that should be reserved for established QBs like Manning, Brady...etc. To me, he's no different than a Flacco or a Ryan in that he's young, got some skills to work with but needs to be refined and seen play over various circumstances before you can truly determine his worth as a QB. I'm not going to blindly love the guy now because he's "not JP".
  13. And I notice you didn't bother to ask my subjective question, which shows your "Trent bias". As if your handle didn't give you away... As for my garbage man bias, do a little research and see that I wanted him gone at the beginning of the season as he served no purpose in a Bills uniform. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of a good argument, right?
  14. Two posts and this is what you come up with? Welcome to the board moron....
  15. As a longstanding neutral third party in all of this QB bullsh!t, I have one question to ask so that I can play devil's advocate... ...how is Trent "succeeding"? Has his body of work addressed concerns such as he's injury prone, he can't play in adverse weather conditions (making him useless as a Bills starting QB), that he has less-than-average arm strength and that he hesitates in his decision-making often just going with the check down? There are those who would "wash the balls of Losman" but there are also those who want answers as to why there is a double standard for evaluating QBs when some could say that Trent is not a better solution than JP, just a different one. I for one will wait one more season before I order a #5 Edwards jersey thank you. He's done little for me to convince me that he's in the same echelon of QB as Manning, Brady, Brees, etc. that some of you have annointed him to. You'd have a hard time convincing me that he's a better QB than Joe Flacco or Matt Ryan.
  16. 1,000,000 points for the Sid Vicious-Arn Anderson reference.
  17. But Edwards had plenty of time to hold that ball for maybe two more seconds to hit Evans. Face it. Trent is a dud at passes more than 5 yards.
  18. Just think....three more years of this bullsh!t. Glad I'm missing the second half. I'm off to the World Juniors games now where I get to see young kids playing with their hearts for their countries. F#ck Dick Jauron and this loser team he's built.
  19. When do we begin with the feats of strength?
  20. Because MORON fans are always ready to run a talented player out of town when the backup shows skill as well.
  21. Yeah....let's see them do it against a 3-4 defense...um...LIKE NEXT WEEK. Then I'll be impressed.
  22. Nothing strange about it. If this franchise doesn't lock Freddie up and build an offensive game plan around him and Lynch then this franchise is as stupid as it gets. We have TWO stud backs and in today's NFL, teams with two great backs are usually great teams.
