Excellent post. My sentiments exactly. Seems as if people love to be miserable. The situation is what it is. Bitching about it isn't going to make anything better. I'll choose to enjoy the little things, even if there aren't many of them. There are too many more important things to B word about.

That's the key. As much as it sucks, and as much as the Bills have sucked this year, it is a fact. Year 0 or rebuilding sucks, especially when you start with a team that has zero stars. Zero. The Bills have a bunch of OK players, but there's nobody on either side of the ball that an opposing team needs to gameplan around. Maybe spiller will turn out to be that guy on O. Maybe Byrd will be that guy on D. Maybe McKelvin will continue to grow into a shutdown corner nobody throws at. Maybe. But they aren't there yet. So there won't be much to enjoy this year except the progress we see out of a few players. If people can't hack that (and there are plenty of whiners here that can't), I suggest they sign off now and come back about the 8th game next year, when we start to see a glimmer of hope.

Not only that, rookie RBs aren't very good at picking up a blitz or blocking NFL players. You need an RB with more experience for that. So against the GB pass rush he clearly wanted someone in there that gave Edwards a chance not to get killed.

Well, you can freak out after two games thinking that this is the end product. That is your prerogative. I'll reserve judgment until the sample size is larger. We're talking about Sullivan bitching about Edwards being benched after two horrible games. He's whining that Edwards was benched and that he all of the sudden morph into a pro-Bowl QB inspired by Gailey. We're not talking about how much the Bills suck, which they do. I think benching an ineffective QB is a good idea. Other irrational riders of the rollercoaster think that it somehow means we should fire the staff, and that Gailey sucks. And that is dumb.

You apparently haven't read him much. He can find the negative side of winning the lottery. "Don't kill the messenger" only applies to factual pieces. He's the messgenger of his own opinion. Educate yourself before using a hackneyed phrase. What his opinion fails to recognize is that this is a rebuilding year. Period. This is what happens in rebuilding years. Period. This is what coaches do in rebuilding years. Period. Take your own advice and get a clue.

Seriously, do you understand the concept of rebuilding? This is how it works - tear it down, start over. It can't be done in one year, either, and it usually gets worse before it gets better. Why is that such a hard concept to understand? It sucks to watch it, but it is just how it works.
