  1. Because our guards sucked last year and they wanted competition and to give themselves the best chance of finding the starting line. I fully support loading up on OL for camp.
  2. It might be a good idea to give a QB the benefit of the doubt until they have a few seasons under their belt. I know trying to get some people to understand QB development is like slamming your head against the wall, but I find it so silly that people are already planning for EJ's demise and he hasn't even played 16 games yet. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people?
  3. I used to feel the way you did, until I had a conversation with a native American. The way he described it changed my mind. They consider it to be the same as having a team called the "n-words", the kikes, or whatever. The "redskin" name makes them feel like they are being made to be inferior to others, which isn't the case. So my question is this: Do you want to make a population of good Americans feel inferior or insulted, or do you want to simply change the name of a team in a silly game? Put that way, I'm not sure why you'd be OK with insulting fellow Americans.
  4. Not sure why people are mocking a UDFA signing after a tryout. Some perspective is warranted.
  5. Everyone should realize ej was clearly a guy taken for his upside, so it is natural that there are still question marks. I don't think they intended him to start last year, but a concussion ended that. They also made a huge mistake by not having a dedicated qb coach for him. Not a good move for a rookie. All that said, I don't see how anyone can be sold on ej yet, but I'm optimistic he can develop. I have no patience for those who have no patience for a rookie qb with 10 games under his belt. Hopefully this year we start to see the upside.
  6. Every time I hear maybin's name, I think of Dickie Jauron lobbying to draft him in the Bills' war room. Ugh.
  7. It further opens up Rochester, Syracuse and other areas east for easy access to games. If Batava was the site of the stadium, the number of season ticket holders from Rochester would increase 10x. I would. It is a 2.5 hour trip home for me after a game to the east side of Rochester. Not great when I need to work the next day.
  8. So the excuses have started! Ordered your Browns jersey yet?
  9. Not sure why this is surprising. The guy is a punk.
  10. Didn't Kiper say Cordy Glenn would never be a good left tackle? Um, yeah. I hoped that d-bag watched the Kansas City game where he owned Hali. He's a jerk.
  11. He is definitely spectacular. He's also expensive and spectacular.
  12. I think the Bills are actually in a very ideal situation when it comes to a new owner. A stadium that was just renovated, which buys plenty of time to build a new stadium. Also, an active and determined fanbase, government, and celebrity support.
  13. No. Erie county is in control, and do you think Erie would let that happen?
  14. So don't you usually hire scouts BEFORE a next scouting cycle begins? This is actually proactive. You don't want to hire a scout after all the planning for the next scouting season has begun, right? Look, I understand it is fun to B word about everything the Bills do, but let's put some thought into what we are bitching about, k?
  15. Hilarious post! Post of the year!
  16. They didn't re-sign him in buffalo for a reason. They could have, but chose not to. He was a bad teammate in Buffalo, and nobody liked him and he was bad for chemistry, and that's that. Not sure why anyone would think it is a good idea to inject that kind of BS into a team, but whatever. Won't happen, anyway.
  17. I'm sorry, but I don't understand how because of these three very minor mistakes, the whole organization is a joke. The dolphins had horrible issues with PR last year and lost two players and multiple coaches from it. THAT, my friend, is a PR nightmare. I think you're being melodramatic. Lighten up, Francis.
  18. I don't read his stuff any more. He got past the point of being objective, and was always finding a negative angle. So I stopped reading his columns, and my Bills fandom is better for it.
  19. What an arrogant ass. Clubhead speed? Really?
  20. Let's all remember this when Kiper gives his grades this year. He was convinced that Glenn would never be even a serviceable LT, and Buddy disagreed. Looks like Buddy was right.
  21. That would be horrible. He's an idiot birther egomaniac narcissistic buffoon who for some reason feels the need to be in the spotlight all the time. He's a walking distraction. He's worse than Jerry Jones and Dan Snyder rolled into one. He's a greedy d-bag who would move the team if it made him money. He's exactly what you don't want in an owner. Not only that, he's probably only saying it to get publicity.
  22. I don't know much about specific college players, but I do agree with your needs assessment.
  23. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mine is that he's a d-bag.
