  1. MODERATORS: Please delete the above image, as it is violates California law. Somehow.
  2. Was actually told today that it was unprecedented for the US to abandon allies like the Kurds like this. Yeah...hasn't happened since the Obama administration, who was the first to do it since W, who was the first to do it since Clinton, who was the first since H.W.... And that's just the Kurds. Wonder how the Hmong feel about this?
  3. How? Are CNN/WaPo/NYT no longer going to be setting it? Keeping in mind: the narrative they've already set is "Trump is using the authority of the Executive Branch to persecute political opponents." Nothing that can conceivably be released can change that - in fact, anything that would change the national narrative actually reinforces the current narrative.
  4. I genuinely don't believe her.
  5. Counterpoint: "It needs to be a Democratic stunt, because Republicans won't vote for impeachment!" The logic is unassailable, for being tautological.
  6. Hopefully CNN will keep these confined to their Website. The prospect of being forced to listen to millennial struggles as part of CNN’s ubiquitous Oceania-style telescreens is prime Room 101 fodder. Well, back in my day, we couldn't even complain to CNN how tough things were on our smart phones while sipping a grande half-calf skinny iced latte in the back of an Uber!
  7. In my defense, there really should have been CAP on-station.
  8. That, and anyone treating Trump's tweets as even remotely authoritative is a bigger moron than Trump.
  9. Sounds a lot like us, actually.
  10. Nice try. I mean, swing and a miss.. but good effort.
  11. Trump might be a narcissist...but he's a narcissist with a pretty good sense of humor. (Note: by "might be," I mean "is." But I doubt he'll get too worked up by Hillary's comeback.) (Another note: this is the first time Hillary's publicly admitted she lost the election, and he's president.)
  12. Probably just have @Crayola64 file a motion...
  13. Reminder: she was chosen by people to represent them. So she's not just speaking for herself, but for a significant portion of her district.
  14. Nope. Seriously, what planet are you people from? Liberals disown FAMILY that don't agree with them. They're hateful Jacobins.
  15. Usually I'd agree. For impeachment proceedings...that's something I'll disagree on. If a President is accused of high crimes and misdemeanors, the electorate should be fully informed. PARTICULARLY when certain elements of the media and government are engaged in obvious misrepresentation of what limited evidence is available.
  16. He doesn't have to explain it. There's no sort of "statute of limitations" on whistleblowing. The whistleblower could have waited 18 months to report.
  17. A list that overlaps strongly with Yankee White clearances. Which people can have direct knowledge of the President's detailed schedule weeks in advance. I have no idea how Trump is still alive at this point.
  18. That's what this entire fiasco has been missing. A Doonesbury conspiracy angle. Can we work Bill the Cat compromising Jeanne Kirkpatrick into this somehow? Anyone?
  19. There's a lot of assumptions and few verifiable facts in all this analysis.
  20. There's also the point that he was a placeholder until Succup could return.
  21. You mean "Robert Foster g-g-groin injury?"
