Democracy can be so uncomfortably democratic sometimes. -

I can't decide if Trump is brilliant, or just lucky his opponents are complete morons. -
Superman was written as the embodiment of Nietzsche's Uebermensch, which was a foundational philosophy for Nazi racial theory. So Superman is, in fact, a Nazi.

Bi-Partisan Support For Impeachment

No. Congress is nothing more than an advocacy group now. The President writes the laws, the judiciary votes on them, Congress advocates either way. Look at the lawsuits filed against this week's asylum rules changes. That's exactly what's happening. -

"Trump's going to get reelected." "Voters have reason to worry." Are they too drunk to see the cognitive dissonance? -
In the future, perhaps, political argument will consist of juxtapositions of beautiful women... . "ADDED: Only after publishing this post did I perceive that's not one photograph. I don't know who put the 2 photographs side-by-side and created the impression that AOC was pleading dramatically with a cool and unperturbed KC." Ann Althouse is an idiot.

Particularly this. I mean, there have been arrests for slavery in the news in the past two years. Do people just forget about that? There's a huge market for cheap, exploitable, undocumented labor. Anyone who's for open borders and against reforming immigration law basically supports slavery. The fact that, in 30 years, very few have made a serious attempt (basically Bush II, and Trump) is very telling. -

Seriously...how goddamned difficult is it for House Democrats to respond to Trump's bull#### with "Yeah, Donald, whatever." He thrives on this *****. Don't take him seriously, he doesn't thrive. Don't let him drive the conversation. How hard is that? What the ***** is wrong with these idiots that they can't figure this out? -

"Can learn from its failures as it aims to send women to the moon?" What the *****? The moon landing is a failure now, because it didn't include breasts? -

Cap and trade wouldn't cause a reversion to agrarianism. Rather, it would do what every such policy in history has done: consolidate industries into larger conglomerates at the expense of small business. Small companies won't have the capital to "trade" their way into compliance with the caps, and will either be driven out of business or acquired by large companies who have that capital. -

Ever stop and wonder why individuals announcing "I'm leaving the Republican party" get more, and more prominent, coverage than the entire #WalkAway movement? -

The shampoo bottle line is great. I probably would have gone with "warning labels on Pop Tarts," but his is better. -

He should stick with "Vicious Young Socialist Congresswomen." That'll play much better with a wider demographic than "go back where you came from," and the Vicious Young Socialist Congresswomen will respond either with empty-headed lunatic vitriol, or embrace the label, either of which fragments the Democrats even more.
