"Building the Franchise the right way"
apuszczalowski replied to KeisterHollow's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the biggest change to the 'Skins from last season is at Qb and WR They picked one of, if not the best QB in this years draft, and signed some good WRs. (Colts also improved with the biggest change being they picked one of the best Qbs to come out of the draft since they drafted their last HOFer QB) Great QBs/QB play can mask alot of weaknesses in other areas. If it wasn't for Luck, the Colts would look pretty close to how they did last year, and without RGIII, the Redskins wouldn't be fighting for their division. In all sports you have a window, especially if you aren't going to re-sign guys currently on your roster. I see no reason why the Bills won't be re-signing Levitre and Byrd this offseason, unless either wants to test the market themselves. The Bills are alot closer to being a playoffs team then they are at drafting #1 overall. They just went through another change in defence this offseason to go back to a 4-3 from the 3-4 they switched to 3 years ago which involves making changes to the roster and guys learning new schemes. Stability and other good draft/offseason and the team will continue to improve -
No Easley on offense,... really?
apuszczalowski replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I actually cared what some D-Bag on the internet who lurks around on message boards thought of me, that comment might actually hurt. So your saying that they should have thrown the ball more in this game, instead of running the ball like they did (something everyones been crying for all season), against the jags in pour weather, to see if Easley could be the next Vincent Jackson? So in practice, against the Bills DBs, he is facing worse DBs then the jags had on the field Sunday? You know that same Coaching Staff and front office were able to judge that Stevie was a worth while WR to keep around and play, also that Spiller was a threat. (Jauron was the one that kept Stevie on the Bench, and the fans were calling Spiller a bust up until the end of last season, now they want him more the Jackson). Its one damn game where they threw the ball less then 20 times -

1. We the Fans have not seen him in actual game action and have to know what we have in him so we can determine if he is a bust or if we can blame Gailey/Nix for not being able to recognize his greatness sooner ....That pretty much is it -
Eagles meltdown continues (new details)
apuszczalowski replied to NoSaint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats surprising, cause looking at him you would think he would have the room for fire and a bunch more stuff........... -
How many times ever, do you see players being swapt fr players in the NFL? Most of the time when you do its underachieving bust draft pick for underachieving bust draft pick. What team has an abundance of good WR's or LBs and short on good RBs?
-
So they trade jackson and replace him with what? Choice? Very few teams play with only one decent/good RB these days, teams now have 2-3 good RBs to run the ball on offence
-
Bills fans always trying to show they are the nicest and classiest fans in the NFL, decided they wanted their opponents to feel like they were playing at home this week
-
What do former players know? Its the Fans who know everything about the game and how it is and should be played. With their powers of Hindsight and assumption, the fans are the only true capable GM's and Coaches

Russell Wilson will never be elite
apuszczalowski replied to ny33's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched a good part of this game, flipped ebtween it and the Lions/Colts game, and the biggest thought I had was that the Bills probably should have dealt Jackson to the Seahawks and kept Lynch. As for Wilson, He has played well this season and has some legs that allow him to keep plays alive. I wouldn't put him in the same category as Luck/RGIII right now, but he isn't a bad QB. As much as you can credit Wilson for the win, you have to also blame the Bears defence for letting them run over him on the game winning drive. Almost that entire drive the announcers kept saying how badly gassed the Bears defence looked out there, they just looked like they had no energy left to stop anyone. -

apuszczalowski replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, But the FANS have to know what the Bills have in Easley! It doesn't matter that the coaches know what they have and see him in practice all week, THE FANS NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!! In a game where tehy finally do what the fans have been b*tchin, screaming, and crying for all season (run the ball more), they complain because they didn't put Easley in to run around on the field while they hand the ball off, or they should start throwing just so they can see what they have in a player during garbage time? What more will they learn from garbage time of a game against a 2 win team that they can't find out in practice or didn't see during preseason? -
Well as bad as we've been have we been this bad?
apuszczalowski replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think most would just have pity, maybe sympathy that the person wasted good money on something thats not even worthy of becoming a rag to clean oil off your garage floor. Now, say a Whitner or Lynch Jersey, theres some taunting, but its not that bad (I know first hand) But yeah, according to his letter, Ed isn't giving up on being a Jets fan, just giving up the "Firemen Ed" personna and leading the cheers on the jumbotron because he has dealt with too much abuse/taunting for continuing to wear a Sanchez jersey to the games -
Its true, there have been many times where a coach or front office staff member has been given a "Vote of Confidence" by someone higher up and then let go by the end of the season. How many GMs in the past have come out and said they are disapointed in the work the coaching staff has done with the team to this point and that Coach 'X' is about to lose there job if things don't turn around or is "on the Hot seat"?
-
Well then Nix is pretty lucky cause there are very few of those around here, most of the educated fans are just "Hindsight Geniuses" And what makes one teams fans more "deserving" then others? Every week half the leagues fans are "winners" and the other half are "losers". So what makes Bills fans "more Deserving" of their team winning then a Detroit Lions fan? A KC Chiefs Fan? An Oakland Raiders Fan? A jacksonville jaguars fan? Should the NFL make up a new rule that does not allow a team to have more then 1-2 winning seasons in a row? That teams should have to share success with other teams?

So if I asked you the same question after everyone of your posts, until you gave me the answer that I wanted to hear, you wouldn't either keep answering the question with the same answer you always do and get frustrated with responding every time, or just completly ignore me after a few times responding? Fans and the media are going to keep asking him the same thing until he gives them the answer they want to hear, that Chan and Fitz are gone ASAP You don't get that response from him the first time, ask him again, still not the response you want, ask again, and you keep going til he tells you what you want to hear

Why did Mike Mullarkey resign as HC of Buffalo
apuszczalowski replied to BuffaloBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats typical around here While they are here, run them out of town, then cry about how you want them back cause they guy that they wanted to replace them can't do any better. The grass is always greener..... -
Why did Mike Mullarkey resign as HC of Buffalo
apuszczalowski replied to BuffaloBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The rumors that came out at that time was that his kids were being harrassed at school because their dad was the bills head coach and the fans wanted him gone. Add that to the fact that they just let go of their GM and brought in Levy its also been rumored that they gave him the opportunity to step down, or they would make changes around him to his coaching staff. -
Our offensive line is bad, not a strength
apuszczalowski replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When people realise that not every player on the team can be Pro Bowl caliber, and that Sacks and bad games will happen, and they actually watch other teams and Football that doesn't involve the Bills they may notice that there are MUCH worse o-lines out there today and that the bills line is not that bad. As stated previously, there are better teams then the Bills with worse lines giving up more sacks. There is no team in this league that doesn't have atleast a couple of holes that could use filling on their roster.............. -
Just trying to fit in with everyone else around here, the short bus is overflowing here, we might have to upgrade to one of those bigger busses Hindsight makes every decision made much easier to makeUp until that draft, the majority of people here were talking about how taking Dareus is the only choice because you have to draft linemen and build from the lines out, WRs and QBs are just luxury picks that this team can't afford to make now. Can you honestly say that at the time of the draft you had expected Dalton would have been a game 1 starter and lead his team to the playoffs? If so, theres 31 jobs available in the NFL you'd qualify for because 31 other GMs in the NFL passed on him, and if it wasn't for Carson palmer sitting out, theres a pretty good chance we may not have seen Dalton play much yet.

I think that most people (Except for Brad Pitt) are probably carrying less cash on them now then before due to Bank & Credit Cards being used everywhere. Also alot of stores I am noticing now are soliciting donations when you are cashing out for a charity, theres only so much money to go around. I always feel leery when donating to something I am not familiar with or through a third party (like when cashing out at a store) because you never know how much of that is actually going to charity, and how much is being kept by the company

Jason Babin; Buddy puts in a claim!
apuszczalowski replied to BillsFanFromCincy2012's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, I think you understand it correctlyPlayer 'X' Sucks on a team with an as bad or worse offence/defence then the Bills and gets cut While he was with the previous team he is viewed as sucking and garbage. Player becomes available and all of the sudden he is an upgrade over whats currently on the roster and Buddy should be all over this to "kick the tires" and see if they can turn the player around. Player 'X' gets picked up by someone else and Buddy (along with the Front office) sucks for not getting the guy or for going after the guy (your choice really), then its all about how this sucky player we should/shouldn't have been fighting for is going to be a pro Bowler when they play against the Bills and make them look like kids out there. Its not hard to understand, welcome to the Retard Rodeo Just smash your head against a wall a few hundred times to get your IQ down to the boards level Then ask your mommy or daddy to write your name on some masking tape on the front of your hockey helmet you wear everywhere...... -

apuszczalowski replied to BillsFanFromCincy2012's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he is wanted so much that a team will be willing to trade for him in the offseason, why would they not just claim him now on waivers? Or why wouldn't the Eagles just hold on to him til seasons end then move him?
