  1. I'm starting to think this guy really is the slow kid from Bad Santa, So whats the excuse for the just as Sh*ty play at home in RWS? His comment might have a bit more truth behind it if they actually won games (or atleast played a little better) at home. But weither they are on the road, at RWS, or in Toronto, their play seems to be about the same, and its not good. Of course, right now if you say anything negative about the front office, coaching staff, or Ralph, the fans here will start pushing for your bust in Canton. Maybe thats what whitner should have done? Next week kelsay should just come out in an interview and say "Chan sucks", or "Nix should have taken Wilson" and fans would be begging for him to be re-signed!
  2. Yup, the rest of the players on losing teams all feel this way, we better tank teh rest fo teh season so that we can draft a saviour with absolutly no experience playing this game at the NFL level to come in and save us.
  3. Writings on the wall already, they don't need to be blown out Nix's job I believe is still safe for atleast one more year, unless he decides to step down at seasons end and retire, handing the position over to Whaley Chan is done, and from the way he looks and talks, I think he knows it. I would bet he is given the option to "retire" or step down instead of being fired though Something that will enrage teh fanbase though is that I have a feeling Chans replacement will end up being DW, to allow them to keep the schemes similar so they aren;'t overhauling the offence and defence again Fitzs time as being the starter is also done. I would bet he is still with the team this year, but he will have to earn teh job out of trainaing camp, it won't be handed to him again like last year. Chances are hes the backup next year just because of the salary issue, it would cost too much to just cut him. Nix has already come out and said, he will be going after a QB early in the draft, and usually when he talks like that, he isn't lying about it
  4. thats exactly what i was getting atI have no problem with him, but you know theres many here that will use any amount of production from him on another team as another way to create multiple threads on how poorly run this organisation is for not recognising the amazing Roosevelt while he was here.
  5. The kid is only a legend here because he was a local boy playing for the Bills. He struggled to stay on this team and people were blindly rooting for him cause he played locally for UB. If he was from any other place no one would mention his name here
  6. My point is that just hiring them won't get me excited, if they succeed and get the job done I might thoughGuys that are "Universally respected" have gone on to fail in other spots (Usually thats why they are available, especially if they are young), it guarantees nothing
  7. Why does anyone have to be excited about who they hire as a coach/GM? If the guys can get the job done, I don't care if their hiring excited me or not How has he been secretive? I don't get this, its a well known fact that he has come out and said the Team will stay under his ownership in WNY until he dies, at that point the team will be sold. The last thing he has been is secretive with what will happen to the team, problem is its not what the fans want to hear, and its not what they want. They want him to magically come up with someone who will buy the team and keep them here, or to just generously donate almost a billion dollars to the area by giving the team away to Buffalo
  8. My 2 biggest issues with the last 2 episodes 1. So Dexter goes to work everyday in khakis and a polo/collared shirt (no tie), yet when he has christmas dinner at home with a couple of people/family, he dresses up in a shirt and tie in his own house? 2. So Debra Shoots LaGuerta in the abdomin, the wound is bloody, Deb goes running over and grabs her and hugs her while crying, yet she shows up to the party after wearing the same clothes she had on in the shipping container and no blod on her? WTF?
  9. Why do you have to be negative with everything?I'm trying to look on the bright side here!
  10. But that kid came into his one game and brought them from behind to beat the Cardinals! He came in and scored one Touchdown to beat a team that went on to lose a game by 58 points. I think Rex and the jets know what they are doing........ As for Tebow, everyone has been begging this team to run the ball more and throw less, he has also completed 75% of his passes this season!
  11. Its been said many times, it doesn't matter where you draft, it just matter that you draft well where your at. If just drafting ealry made you better, how come it always seems like the same teams are drafting in the top spot every year? How many times have the Lions drafted in the top 5 over the last decade?
  12. I can't see them letting Levitre walk, McKelvin has value as a returner and depth corner and will only be let go of if his demands are crazy, Byrd is another that I don't see them let walk. Jones will probably be brought back on a cheap deal. They are going to draft a QB and WR early this year if you believe Nix. Johnson, Graham, Jones, and Nelson will be brought back with a new WR. Its tough to really judge the guys we have with Fitz the guy throwing them the ball. These WR's would look much better if they had someone that got them the ball to an area where players can catch it
  13. I would say that after hearing Nix, they go WR first, then make some moves for a QB Yup, cause his early picks have been horribleSpiller - Everyones new favorite (after calling him a bust for his first little while) Dareus - the guy everyone was screaming over who they had to draft I don't think theres anyone in the Draft that really "Sells tickets" for any of those franchises. Tebow would "sell Tickets" for Jacksonville though
  14. They don't need those guys to restructure to re-sign current players. They can re-sign those guys if they want to, if they want to make a big splash again in FA though, they may need to get someone like Fitz to re-structure, I don't see Mario re-structuring anything though
  15. Theres a reason why players sometimes feel loyalty to their coaches, even when the teams records would say they should think otherwise. Its because sometimes the blame is just as much on the players as it is on the coaches. The best coach can put together the best game plan/schemes, and they can still fail if the players don't execute it the way it needs to be done. Players buy into their coaches schemes/systems, and if executed correctly, they feel it should give them the best chances to win, when it doesn't work out, they feel they are to blame too. Fans though might key in and blame a player or too, but usually they blame the coaches the most. And everyones right, this team just can't attract FA's because the coaching staff and Front office are so horrible, it will just be another offseason like last year of scrapping the bottom of the barrell for players in FA.........
  16. To say this as nicely as possible, Just because you can play the game well, it doesn't mean you can coach it well, although I understand you feel that anyone that can breathe can coach better then Gailey Kelly was never known as being a smart QB (I would compare him maybe to a "Bradshaw type" QB), he had good coaches and athletic ability, and a good team around him to get him to where they got to. There are some players that may not have the athletic ability to be a star in the league, but they are smart enough and understand details of the game that help them transition into coaching. I would expect someone like Peyton Manning would transition well into coaching when hes through with playing. I would even say someone like Fitz could end up being a decent coach. Its why alot of backup QBs end up better coaches then players, and why superstar QBs go into boadcasting. Enough with diggin into the past to try and find success in the future. Kelly is a great cheerleader on the sidelines, don't think that because he is on the sidelines he is there to help coach and not just to cheer. As for Polian, I think the game has passed him by, and most of his success in Indy can be placed on making the right decision on Manning over Leaf. Without Manning, we all saw what happened to that team, if he was still the "genius" he is thought to have been, they wouldn't have let him go, and teams would be fighting over him right now
  17. When did you start working at One Bills Drive? You know exactly who they interviewed and what goes on inside the front office? You know that those other teams interviewed more people and have no one tuirning down offers to coach them? Thanks for the inside scoop!
  18. Saint Cowher, the guy fans have been begging the franchise to bring in as Head CoachHe didn't turn them down cause he didn't want to coach here, he turned it down cause he doesn't want to coach anywhere, so he recommended the guy he siad he would have brought on as his OC if he went back to coaching
  19. Your right, cause everyone wants the Job in jacksonville, or Cleveland, or Detroit, or Oakland. No one ever turns down offers to join those teams But Buffalo has the best fans in the universe, right?
  20. Give me a break, Wilson is no different then any other Owner in the NFL. People make fun of the quote all the time, but its true, "Its Hard to win in the NFL". Would you rather be a Lions fan, drafting at the top of the draft year after year, for one "One and done" playoff appearance? Or a Raiders fan? or a Chiefs fan? Browns fan? Jags fan? These are all teams that haven't been much better then Buffalo.
  21. So what does that say about the almighty "Saint Cowher" who was the guy who gave the Bills his recommendation of Gailey?
  22. Not saying I think he is a better choice, just that I would bet that its whats going to happen, unless they decided to scrap another "rebuild" project and clean house again after another 3 years. He is the only person on the staff with a background of being a Head Coach. Nix may or may not step down at the end of this season, and most likely Chan is forced out, allows them to keep some similarity/continuity so its not a complete change resulting in the start of another rebuild with new offence and defence, DW then just brings in a New OC and DC to replace himself and Chan (assuming that if Chan is gone, they also take away the OC spot from whoever has that title now)
  23. Welcome the Wanstache Era, cause thats whos gonna become the next HC I will bet Chan, if he isn't left in TO tonight, is only going to run out the season as HC cause with 2 games left, it won't matter whos coaching them cause its over. But when the seasons done, hes gone and DW will be moved into the HC position
  24. Of course you don't, because that contradicts your point so its just easier to say that it doesn't apply to today
  25. Yeah, root for the new coach and lower draft position, switching coaches and drafting in the top 10 has worked so well for them in the past
