Top 10 excuses if Patriots lose Sunday
apuszczalowski replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
that would explain why Brady was walking funny and wouldn't bend over during the game........ he should have known better when Kane didn't have anything else planned except starting the visit at his buffalo home...... -
Pats Fan Nervous to come to the Ralph
apuszczalowski replied to JP's Voice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I have seen there are a few factors. 1) score of the game. Bills losing bad and it might not be good. Winning, if you can stand gloating and taunting, it's probably the worst you will get 2) attitude of the opposing fan. If he keeps to himself and doesn't gloat or get in people's face he will probably be fine except for taunting or comments being made about him aND his team. If he gets up and goats or gets in people's faces it will be bad. 3) drunk Ness of the area or people around. It's usually the ignorant drunks who can't be civilized in public that get out of hand with opposing teams fans and try to incite fights or will dump food/beverages on someone. Sit in one of the better seating areas in the stadium and you will see it less, the cheap seats are typically where they are cause ticket prices take away beer money...... -
Yup, I agree and have said it many times before. Tailgating as we all know it in Buffalo is going to soon get phased out by the league and the cities, but its not going to be because a fan commited suicide the day before a game. Theres plenty of reasons as you have listed (and those are just in Buffalo) why they will eliminate the public drunk fests that some have taken it to I don't even have the urge to go see a game anymore live. I'd rather sit and watch it at home then have to deal with the possibility of some D-Bag puking or passing out on me cause he can't act like a civilzed human being in public

Colts trade for Browns DL Billy Winn
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well I believe that would go against his suspension if he said or did anything. Something like that could tarnish the image of the league known for fair play and following the rules..... -
I believe the suspension is still served if he was on the PS or not, he would not be able to practice or be put on the active roster to play in a game for 4 weeks though. This move doesn't change anything except that it now allows them to protect him from getting picked up by another team off the practice squad and it won't cost them a roster spot or a practice squad spot because on the active roster he can be added to the suspended list. The move has nothing to do with h8m serving the suspension (he would be doing that anyway on the practice squad) it's about protecting him from getting picked up and freeing up a practice squad spot while he sits out The NFL just hadn't made his suspension official until today which is what they needed to do for the Bills to add him to the suspended list

Colts Ticket Prices Falling Hard
apuszczalowski replied to Bob in Mich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If only those buyers didn't go rogue.... People only wanted the tickets so they could be in the same stadium as Freddy -
we are talking practice squad here, no way they go to tempo. It's pizza and nachos at Dave & Busters plus $25 on game tokens.....
-
It's possible the Bills will wait for a little bit to release the last couple of guys after seeing what moves other teams make and what may be available. It also could have to do with how they assemble their practice squad, seeing if someone better becomes available. Someone like Cassel might survive unless someone better is released and can be signed to be a backup

For those that want or expect Tommy to be taken out by someone during a game as punishment, why would the players want to do that? Because of him a huge loophole is now out there that allows them to possibly get out of suspensions given to them by the league. If anything I could see players thanking him and helping him up if he falls down because he has shown them how to beat a punishment

Fred Says Whaley Dishonest With Him
apuszczalowski replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
is the issue people had with Brandon that they didn't want a marketing guy to make decisions for what's on the field, now they say the marketing department should be in lockstep with the football department so they don't have a cut or traded player as part of a marketing campaign? -
Fred Says Whaley Dishonest With Him
apuszczalowski replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it's not the Bills responsibility at all with the sponsors. It's a risk that companies take using athletes to market their brands. Anyone can be moved, even Gretzky was traded. Teams can't have to worry about who sponsors have chosen to represent them. It's a risk they have to weigh themselves when they plan their marketing campaigns. In Washington they have RG3 on the home opener tickets where Cousins will be the starter, and that's coming from the teams front office. Should RG3 have to start the game because they front office used him on the ticket? -

so what you are saying is he is better then the maybe 3rd or 4th best RB on the team? They could have kept him for one more meaningless PS game where it's mostly 4th stringers filling the lineup and players teams want to get one last look at before cutting, or cut him early so he can catch on early on another team. The Bills still have some of the other RBs on the roster so they have bodies to play this week that will be part of the next round of cuts. They have decided McCoy and Karlos are their tandem. There's no guarantee Brown even makes tell team, but as a 4th option who may not dress on game day, would fans have prefered they replace him with Fred so he can be 4th on the depth chart and stand on the sidelines in street clothes? Brown is young with potential he can still reach, Dixon is a really good special teams player. They made a tough choice they knew wasn't going to be popular, but that doesn't mean it wasn't the correct move. And even if the fans or Fred don't see it this way, it was a nice gesture by the team to do it now so he can go to a team early and have a roster spot. -
fake team, what you saw was a group of actors out on the practice field made to look like the Bills team. The real team is practicing in training camp held at area 51 in Roswell. Elvis is helping coach the scout team, sasquaych is helping with the linebackers and the aliens are working with Roman plan the offence Unfortunately, Rex may have blown the cover. Now that everyone knows his acting ability and his connections in Hollywood from the thrilling Maddon 16 movie this plan may be foiled all because of those damn kids.... (who enjoy Maddon video games)

EJ deserves time on the field with first team offense.
apuszczalowski replied to gsurdam's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It doesn't matter what the fans want. It's the coaches that are the ones making the decisions and if they need to see him in some preseason game with the 1st team they will give him a chance. It just might be possible they haven't seen enough from him to want to see him with the 1st team. Armchair coaches/GMs feel the need that it's important that they get to see players in situations so they can make their judgements on the player -
I don't know if I would say be is "Wilson light/very light". I think his style and potential would be that he could resemble Wilson compared to other starters in the league. It sounds like the 2 QBs are comparable, except that Taylor hasnt had the chance to show what he has yet on the field and he could become a playear similar to wilson

Freddy injured again.
apuszczalowski replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
radio this morning was saying that his procedure was to an area "a little further south". The person wouldn't said he didn't know for sure but was saying from the sounds of what's being said and the way Rex was talking and pointing, signs were pointing to something testicular and twisted -
Shady helped off field with leg injury

yeah, dumb trade. Kiko has been 100% healthy this offseason with no injuries while Mccoy is just another scrub that you can find on any street corner...... -
Common Sense Optimism Re: Cassell
apuszczalowski replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you forgetting some of the QBs rex has had? Vick in his prime put up better numbers then Cassell in his career. (You could use the excuse that Vick sucked for rex in NY but your argument us using past seasons for Cassell. ...) As for the argument about Cassell already being the #1 guy in Rexs eyes, I also disagree. I think he was brought in as the best option to give them a veteran presence at the position, but if there is already a secret #1 guy that rex isn't telling anyone about yet, I think it Taylor. Rex raves about him and he personally wanted them to get him because he has said he tried to get him before. The veteran guy is always going to be the one getting the #1 reps to start because he is a proven commodity and it would luck much worse to hand a job over to a guy with little experience at this time -

Sheldon Richardson suspended 4 games
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he has plenty of opportunity to be employed. He can cook fries at McDonald's, or work turning the stop/go sign on the road at a construction site, or hang off the back of a garbage truck picking up my trash. I have absolutely no simpathy for guys doing something stupid and uneccessary then losing their golden ticket/lottery ticket gig of playing a pro sport for millions. If he wants to stay in the NFL, maybe the Jets could give him a job cleaning the piss and puke from the stadium after games..... -
Harvard student's model picks Fish to win division
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can everyone picture it now, suh tries to manhandled Richie then stomps on him. Richie gets up and starts hitting suh in the head with suhs arm repeating "why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself? " then send him text messages from the sidelines about nailing suhs mom..... But really, what do Harvard students know about football and sports? -
Shady trade will really set this team back
apuszczalowski replied to enlightener's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Outside of Fred, who's getting olDer and don't see his production getting increased, what other option do they have at RB? Bobbie is a backup bench guy and brown is a complete unknown who can't seem to Crack a spot in the lineup. The OC is a heavy run game type of guy and they need someone to be the focal point. There has to be a point where they spend money on the offense. Wrong argument to make that getting one of the best RBs in the league was a mistake for a LB with knee issues and one good year. Now if you want to make an argument over getting Harvin or last year's trade for Brown you might get more people agreeing with you
