Brandon Reilly scheduled to visit Cardinals & Redskins
apuszczalowski replied to Navin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If only they were smart enough to have kept him and had him playing on Sunday, Peterman would have been better then Brady..... What happened to the pats or the other really good team that was supposed to have snatched him up immediately when he was released? -
McBeane's way of rebuilding makes no sense

They had much more "talent" on the roster when they took over They now have much more "potential talent" -
Nobody should be doubting Beane or McDermott

Theres a good chance that they dont use alot of that cap space and the excuse from the fans will be that there just wasn't quality players to spend it on, and you don't build through FA cause you have to over pay so you build through the Draft -

and Just because some like or get the plan current management has, doesn't mean its good/correct The biggest problem I see with it is it is going to hinge on great players being available and wanting to sign here in FA this coming offseason to use that cap money, and making good use of all the picks they have accumulated. So far they have shown they can attract and welcome in Carolina castoffs, and are willing to move up and down in the draft using their picks to get a few players they really like, even if they are risks/projects. All coaches/GMs come into their jobs with a plan, the problem is if its a good one and will work, and if they can last long enough to see it through to the end. -
de Beer dropped from practice squad

How sad are the Texans right now? If it wasn't for the name, no one would have noticed or cared...... -
There would be inspections for a basement if they were building a new facility legally with permits There would be inspectors coming by the site and questions asked when things are noticed. They also could open themselves up for surprise drop by inspections from not only building inspectors but other labour/safety inspectors on a large site. Inside an existing warehouse building that has already been completed and built, there wouldnt be many sniffing around, or questioning noise or other things because they would most likely assume its part of the business as usual going on there. And you would be surprised what some of these drug kingpins do for their business, something part of a huge operation such as Gus's, this wouldn't be a surprise to see someone go to these extremes. I would definitly question an underground bunker facility being built underneath a typical Warehouse structure if I showed up on a site and noticed it being built, or plans were submitted for a permit to build it. plus it would then be part of a record and known to exist if it was part of the construction and part of a permit.

I am not as down on both of those guys as many here, but what have they done so far to deserve having none of their moves or decisions doubted? They have sold off all the talent on this team for picks and freed up future cap space for hopefully some upgrades. Although many have said the FA market in areas of needs look slim. They drafted a very young LBer with a high ceiling but needing development and a QB with a high ceiling but needing alot of development to be the future. They have no current plan for the QB position aside from a 5th round QB who's been a dumpster fire so far, no wide receivers, failed to address the oline after losing a big chunk of it, and put more resources into the defence without really getting g much better results. Plus they are already on another OC. -
I wonder what's going to happen with him now. Later on do we find out that the little office interaction between Howard and Jimmy lit a fire under him? As for Gus and the location, using a newer facility without an established business in it may cause some people to get curious what is going on. In an established business, hearing noises or other things may not cause people to bat an eye at what's going on.

San Francisco seems risky, Jimmy G hasnt proven he's the real deal just yet. And they have taken a few injury hits
-
Panthers were a good choice but felt risky to me, cowboys could have been a surprise win if Dak and Zek were able to get hot. Panthers can be tricky. The Rams seemed like a hot pick but from what I saw not as many as I thought would had picked them. Guess there was still the questions Bout whether Gruden was gonna be a difference maker after being off the sidelines for so long and if the Rams would regress from last year. Up until the half it looked little dicey. Cleveland made to many big moves this offseason to make the Steelers a lock pick against them, gotta give them few weeks to see if they are the same old browns before using the pick whomever plays the Browns strategy that has work for so many the last few years. New Orleans getting beat was the big shock, and theres always usually at least one to start the year. They probably would have had more casualties if they weren't a team most people like to keep in their back pocket for wins later on.

Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)
apuszczalowski replied to Paulus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peterman may have 'won' the competition in camp, but it's not like he really wowed them, Allen's stats wouldn't have mattered unless he really blew them away and AJ got hurt costing him practice and game time. Peterman put up ok numbers for a preseason QB. They had options and choices but didnt want to spend to get quality, they thought they could strike gold and get a younger qb that could potentially be flipped when Allen was ready. -
So who does everyone have this week?

Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)

Exactly. I bet the decision was already made before the end of the game, or at least the trip back home and they were informed of who would be getting the start Sunday. Just because they haven't made a formal announcement to the world doesnt mean the team is in limbo waiting for a decision. I dont even think it has to do with trying to fool the other team as I would Lmost bet the Chargers after seeing Sundays game are prepping for Allen and already know about Peterman from last year. I'm sure their defensive players were as disappointed as Bill's fans about Petermans poor performance, hoping they would get a second chance to pad their stats and feast against him. -
Theres still a chance the lions lose by more then the Bill's did yesterday, still one quarter left......
-
See what I did in my previous starts? Yeah, dont do that.....
-
Take the Saints or Lions, they are locks Also take the Bill's against the spread, that games gonna be a close one! Some great pool/gambling advice from TSW this week!
-
Like the Cobra Kai from Karate Kid? That would be awesome to see a coach on the sidelines wearing one....
-
Until he goes back to working under BB when the Lions fire him....
-
That might actually be a bright spot for them?
-
Cassel time!
-
Just gonna bump this Getting nervous yet?
