  1. Did either have benefits? They never worked and lived in what basically looked like a basement bachelor apartment always wearing the same clothes. I doubt either had benefits, or 401ks.....
  2. He had been a hot candidate for a whole before, that's why many wanted him. I dont think that him not being Rex factored in because I dont think many thought Rex was going to be a shoe in for the job...... I also dont fully blame Hue for not knowing the kicker was hurt, I put more blame on the Browns organization and medical staff for not relaying this info to him (unless they did and he just ignored it). If the kicker never said anything to him and he was never told of an injury, how is he supposed to know?
  3. Should have been hooking up with the bosses daughter if he wanted to stay.... Seems strange to see him, Coleman and Washington end up on practice squads. Always thought of the PSs as being for the late rounders and UDFAs just getting I to the league, not guys who have a few years on active rosters and starts under their belts......
  4. Purple and had a purse, so that meant gay Even though Teletubbies had no known sexuality as no one even knew what they were as they weren't 'Human' Bert and Ernie are 2 characters created as males, and living together, so obviously this only happens if your homosexual Same must go for Laverne and Shirley, Felix & Oscar, Joey & Chandler, Monica & Rachel, Balki & Cousin Larry, Sheldon & Leonard.........
  5. Some take advantage and relax for a couple games or a season, others are out before the whistle to end their first game....
  6. Because they want to prove Peterman might be better then someone
  7. That quote might be a good thing for the Bill's PR and Recruiting. Think of how many player wives will be forcing their men to sign in Buffalo and take their offer because 'theirs nothing else to do their but their wives'!
  8. Wait, so now Bruce was married to a transsexual Kris before leaving them to transition himself? I understand now why it's called keeping up with the Kardashians......
  9. I just read an article where they said a former writer told a LGBTQ magazine that they are gay, and from what it sounds like he based the relationship off of his own personal one. Sesame street replied that they are just friends and created to show children that people can be close friends. They also said they are puppets who have no sexual orientation......
  10. More like he doesnt want to have to go out and buy a new one at those prices.......
  11. Meh, WRs arent important for a rookie QB or an anemic offence, I bet they spent all day yesterday scouring the waiver wire and street FA list for available Rotational D linemen...
  12. Wasnt Groy the guy everyone was so high on and complained cause the coaching staff didnt have him playing on the line last year?
  13. People understand it, most are just against it pr have their issues with it because it was self inflicted. They put themselves in a situation where they cant do anything now to help their QB and team because they decided to cut/trade any talent they had left for picks, and make dumb personnel decisions such as trading for then releasing Coleman
  14. If they were making decision because of low cap space, why would they waste some of it by bringing in Coleman and dumping him after only a couple weeks? Wouldn't you at least hold onto him a bit longer and see what you can do with a bit more time. And what has this front office shown that would indicate they are going to use the freed cap space next year, and if so, they still need to convince the player to come sign here to a team pretty void of talent. The only thing these guys have shown so far is that they are willing to do whatever it take to get their guy in the draft, and they are usually only interested in bringing in and keeping players they have had previous experience with.
  15. I thought this was going to be about him and his 8 children and still wanting more. I think he is secretly trying to make his own team to enter the league.....
  16. He's not a rotational DT so he doesnt fit the Bill's needs....
  17. Brady is not retiring, he has already said he wants to play another 5 years. Brees is possible, Ben maybe only because he has thought about it recently, Rodgers just signed the big extension. Eli probably goes another year or 2 at least unless everything falls apart this year.
  18. The 80s is when they really started making good money, and that's almost 40 years ago. How many players on that list are from that era?
  19. Possibly, but Davis didnt have a problem or issue when he signed. Could have been that after being in the lockerroom and seeing this team just accept losing as a way of getting better in the future, he decided it wasnt worth continuing to do it so he decided instead of getting beaten up for a year for a team who's goal is not to win now, it's better to hang it up? This is the 3rd veteran player to come here since last training camp and after experiencing some time in the lockerroom has decided to abruptly retire (not counting Richie cause he is certifiably nuts, and Woods who was forced into retirement). Boldin expressed a desire to come back soon after to play for another team, only time will tell if it happens to Davis and the CB who retired this year
  20. Since they already get a pension, could the "salary" they are requesting be that they want to be paid for being in the hall of fame and appearing each year at the event? This argument would be similar to the one in college football that the players should be paid because they are the ones on the field and making the schools and NCAA money off of them. Could the HOFers want pay because they are being used to make the HOF and NFL money by being "attractions" to the event and HOF?
  21. It's not necessarily because the person wants to believe they lost the team, but it's because there are many red flags and signs pointing to this happening. Guys abruptly retiring, poor play on the field, blow out losses, not making moves to address areas of concern, cutting veterans for bench players. They may not have lost the lockerroom yet, but they are heading that way if things continue to go down this path. I believe Woods saying they haven't lost the lockerroom now, but I'm sure that he isnt going to say that they may be starting to lose the lockerroom. And im sure Preston Brown also has some insight too that there could be some issues there or brewing as he also most likely has friends and people he still speaks to in the room as much as Woods
  22. You guys dont get it, having a veteran as a backup only runs the chances of getting the #1 overall pick next year, who cares what it might do to the development of the franchise QB who after 1 start has already passed the veteran QB on the roster for complete games played, and after week 4 could surpass him in games started..... I'm sure Mahommes will tell everyone being able to talk to Smith never helped his career, and Darnold would probably tell you that he has never had a conversation with McCown. And I'm sure the rest of the team wouldn't want to have someone with experience on the roster to help out if Josh went down. That's not going to help with the 'Culture' in the lockerroom. Better to have the Browns approach and breed a culture of losing until you accumulate enough good early first rounders that stick to your roster
  23. That's who I thought of too Yay? Another inexperienced QB?
  24. Maybe he is on the hot seat and took playing calling back to use it as an audition or to add to his resume for when he is interviewing again? Lol
  25. They have, and still are making millions on their network gigs that they got for being former NFL players, now what they did with or have left from those millions is a different story......
