  1. THEY WON'T INCREASE PRODUCTION ON AN UNLIMITED BASIS!!! I'M SICK OF OTHER NATIONS NOT BEING OUR LAP DOGS AT EVERY SINGLE TURN!!!11 KILL THEM!!
  2. because that's what i said!!!! honestly, what do you do for a living? you can prided yourself on it, go ahead, tell us.
  3. i said "AFAIAK it's all fair game. racism can be wicked lulzy." it's all fair game means it's all fine to joke about. is this really that hard to understand? did you hurt your brain at some point? was it a prided related injury?
  4. lol, of course it is!!! are you on drugs? did you prided yourself on those drugs? a tshirt is a tshirt that belongs to the person who owns it. they can do whatever they want to it. putting a burning cross on someone's lawn isn't exactly ok, it's their lawn for crying out loud. if someone is actually insane enough to attack a presidential candidate's (let's face it hilly is gonna lose) house like that then it would be ok to make jokes about it and laugh tho. catfeesh?
  5. all good, but seriously, quinn is gay right? DID YOU SEE THOSE PICS!?!!? CASE CLOSED!!
  6. it's making a racist joke about obama satiring the supporters of obama. if (as i'd say at least some are) obama's supporters are largely motivated by his race it is a very sharp satire of them. it could be way funnier obviously, but it's still satire, and not necessarily offensive. there was a great show about racism in the UK a few years ago. some indian/black/whatever mixed brit was going around showing what a bunch of sensitive pussies people are. some sissy cop in wales was all butt hurt over a funny welsh jokes this guy was ripping in front of him, and the usual suspects were super good guy badge offended (like the super heros in this thread are over people finding a joke funny) over every little thing. this guy running the show was an anti racism activist, and very much involved in some big battles in the 80s. his point was that he fought before to get admission to schools (or rather not excluded out of hand due to race) and to not get beaten in the street by skinheads or have paki shop written on his dad's store and have the police never investigate that or robberies. that was real racism he was fighting against. all the little stuff that people get sand in their vaj's about now is just stupid. being offended over jokes and people's natural preferances is wimpy soft weenie victim celebrating behavior.
  7. nope, racist jokes can be funny. it's not racist to find racist jokes to be funny. and for the fourth time for the slow kids -- it is satirical to portray someone negatively in the form in which they are normally deified in. the subject of the satire is the supporters of the candidate. instead of worrying your pretty little goog guy heads over this, just understand that unless you hide under a rock and cry about every single joke that isn't said by your bestest friend like kelly the dog does, it's all fair game.
  8. lol now you know why he smells and then licks his fingers after every snap!
  9. are you a toll booth operator or something? it was a spoof on the grass roots support OF obama. of course i prided myself on racism, so i'm not a person in the 21st century.
  10. what the hell are you on about with me priding myself on racism? is that even a word? i said it can be funny, falling down and hurting yourself can be funny, did i just prided myself on falling down and hurting myself? and you should put your own good guy badge away before you swallow it. are you saying no one can say anything bad about anyone who they don't know or aren't friends with for the sake of humor? is every single joke you've ever heard save those from the friends you prided yourself on offensive to you then? are you drunk right now?
  11. of course there aren't, THAT'S CRAZY TALK. cereal tho, you think brady quinn is gay right?
  12. yeah, i suspect that is GG's reasoning as well. except black people aren't actually brothers, and the acceptance isn't just on blacks making black jokes (while that is accepted of course) but on them making white jokes as well. AFAIAK it's all fair game. racism can be wicked lulzy.
  13. it mocks him being black and spoofs grass roots support for him in general. it also mocks his likeness to the cartoon character. i'm not the one with the insane criteria, hell I'M NOT EVEN A PERSON IN THE 21ST CENTRY!!!!!!!!! [/good guy outrage]
  14. to me this points to how a very minimal set of rules and enforcement principals should be employed. between the self serving politicians and the sub morons enforcing laws and regulations the trend towards uber government makes me feel as safe as an epileptic child with a box full of high explosives on a plane sitting beside me.
  15. my argument with you isn't about how clever the joke is (frankly i think it was poorly executed, a few ideas on this thread would have been much funnier. they left a lot of racist humor on the table, NOW THAT'S OFFENSIVE!) but that it is and can certainly be satire and it shouldn't be considered offensive. as a corollary, i think you found this offensive and felt the need to loudly proclaim it as such (and flash the all important good guy badge) because of some latent political correctness/white guilt.
  16. it's not the pic per se, it's the idea of a supporting obama t shirt actually making fun of him. like in 04 someone made flip flops with kerry's name on it -- clearly it was a joke making fun of his positions by spoofing nick nacks promoting the candidate. i'm not saying what or why the shirt was made, but the above is a plausible reaon why someone would make one as a joke. the point is GG's criteria of something being totally offensive to every human alive or not offensive based on the minutia of some context is insane. like an above poster said, it can be racist, funny, offensive, not offensive, or some combination to different people in different amounts. it's just a joke, people getting but hurt about it do so due to personal issues with the topics at hand and white guilt.
  17. YOU'RE NOT EVEN A PERSON IN THE 21ST CENTURY!!!11 SAVE US FROM THE RACISM OBAMA!!! SAVE US!!!
  18. about stereotypes -- muslims as terrorists is perhaps the most popular stereo type around today. about satire: could they not be satiring the rampant euphoria of students and what not saying obama is the messiah and will finally lead american into the promised land? young people are on obama's jock like CRAZY, and this shirt looks like a bit of a spoof of the grass roots support he is getting. so again, based on your criteria, if there is this backdrop to this t shirt then it is in fact satire and not offensive, otherwise people who aren't offended aren't even people in the 21st century. so either you are insane and have a rediculous critera for determining satire from insults, or you are back tracking a little bit from pounding your chest showing off your shiny good guy badge (TEH OFFENSEEVE TO TEH EVERYONEZ IN TEH CENTURAY!!).
  19. no, but based on your criterea they are homophobic and not people in the 21st century if they don't find it offensive.
  20. you didn't say that the obama joke COULD be found offensive, you said it WAS offensive. you said it should be offensive to everyone in the 21st century. am i over simplifying that? why should everyone find a little t shirt at a bar offensive, but not everyone should find the mohammed or madonna poo thing offensive? and sure the curious george cartoon wasn't that funny, but if they put up the pic that has obama in exactly the same position as a curious george pic, that WOULD be funny. or the stole my bike. or possibly an obama katrina looter meme. based on what you said tho, those would all be offensive to everyone unless published by a newspaper, even tho the mohammed bomb head one isn't offensive to everyone. i think this shows (along with your defense of chapelle) that you are just a little politicaly correct (and i'm a little rock and roll!).
  21. if it made fun of mccain looking like a an animal (he has a bit of rat to him) then GG would be ok. if you were black, GG would be ok. but you aren't, so GG thinks you aren't even a person in the 21st century. every person in the 21st century should find that offensive, unless it was in a newspaper as a cartoon, the GG is cool with that too.
  22. ok, so that picture in a newspaper would be fine, but on a shirt from a bar it isn't. is that your position?
  23. old joke, but pretty funny. i think gg will be offended by any black jokes said by whites, but is fine with chapelle (saying both black jokes and white jokes). if i'm wrong gg please let me know, but this is the last bastion of political correctness.
  24. she was only there to go on shopping trips and to the salon!!!
  25. it can be both cap'n reactionary!! see, this is a racially charged country. the interesting bit is you would think it only comes down to blacks and whites because is the race relation people get most up in arms about. showing that obama looks like curious george is a satire of the racial element in this election and the hyper sensitivity of guys like you who will laugh at chapelle but get sad and angsty about a silly cartoon. just like the mohammed cartoon wasn't actually criticising mohamad for being a suicide bomber, but it used his image to critcise other people associated with the issue. it's the insensitivity of the curious george shirt (placed on the back drop of a lovable cartoon character) that is funny. i think you know this tho, you know that it is just a joke, but your white guilt won't let you just laugh at it (or ignore it if you don't find it funny). can you tell me why this is offensive (and you even made the statement that everyone in the 21st century should be offended, as if this is a very important issue. should everyone in the 21st century be offended by the mohommed picture as well?) but dave chapelle is not (certainly if you are being consistent, everyone in the 21st century should be offended by dave chappelle's racist humor!)? i don't think you can because like an above poster said i think you subscribe to a double standard. and to the other poster yes, a stole my bike shirt would be much funnier and more topical. a bunch of them on a webpage would really crack me up.
