  1. lol, 4 realz. there is (was) this guy on other boards called wys wings. he was insane. he picked and chose what parts of reality to use, and what parts to edit. he tried to write to impress you, but just made you want to rub glass in your eyes. he was much better than kat, who might be him but more insane.
  2. but but but, krazypats said that his injury rarely requires surgery. he's just blabbing out of his ass, at least bill in NYC has a legit love for the bills, inspite of his creepy OL love and corner hate. he also offers a lot of insight into the game. kk just blabs on. is there an ignore feature?
  3. kid in NO had a couple good seasons too, made a pro bowl. peters is sick, but this board has gotten nuts over LT's, they can be schemed around. if we are ok at lt but good overall as a line and our playmakers are solid, we can do well. like the ny giants of last season.
  4. you slow witted clown. this thread is (supposed) to be about the curious nature of this holdout. the bills aren't the vikings or some team that does this a lot. this agent only recently had a lot of guys holding out, so the (very good) question is why is this happening now? no matter what you think of the bills front office (or suicide, which i really think you should look into) this is a strange situation for peters and since he stands to lose so very much if he does sit for a season, makes normal posters wonder if he's being desperate for a reason. and no one's seen him healthy since december of 07. remember tho, it's up the stream not across the street.
  5. honestly dude, you suck and aren't a bills fan. all you do is piss and moan about how much the bills suck. go kill yourself or root for the pats, you'll be happier. i said i had a feeling he was hurt, that means i had a feeling. either that or he's just playing hardball and will cave before aug 8. i don't have medical reports, but he's either just playing a dumb game of chicken, or has a real desperate reason to hold out. i am certain of the fact that you are a terrible poster and emphasize you do have the free choice to kill yourself and end the pain. end it for all of us.
  6. so really (VOR i think talked about it) in 8 days he is up a creek? if he doesn't come forward by then i suspect he's not right. i really have this feeling he's not healthy. if his career is over (or likely to be over on one more injury) we are smart to not pay him. remember tony boselli?
  7. good thread (except for krazykat who is a complete troll and makes the most flawed and worthless points). you know, taking all of this on board i can't help but think peters is not healthy. if he's healthy and shows up he will get money. i'm sure they'll put a clause in so that if he goes to probowls he'll get mad cash, but only an idiot would pay the guy without him at least coming in first.
  8. simon makes a good point. kawika along w poz and crow gives us 3 guys who can get to the ball, drop back, anticipate, run fast, shed a block, and bring the wood or pick off a pass and bring it back. together they can be a top 5 or 10 squad of 4-3 backers.
  9. if you get it it might change -- very high chance we get another williams in the next few years.
  10. IT DOESN'T MATTER WE'RE ALL DOOMED!!! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!! KILL YOURSELF TO AVOID FUTHER PAIN, IT'S THE ONLY CHOICE!!
  11. if we face dallas in the bowl this year bet the farm on the bills. candy asses can't take heat at all, total front runners.
  12. because the feeding of the trolls here is retarded. the arguments for jp being anything but a first round bust scrub are just garbage. he's the same guy he's been since day one and he's shown no improvement on any of his weakpoints. he's never shown any real chops to be an nfl starter. he was given chance after chance and the last thing he did (in his 4th nfl season, and 3rd as the starter on day 1) was fumble on 4th down. he stinks.
  13. those kind of comments come from guys who say "LETZ DO TEH 3-4 LIKE TEH PATZ" and "TEH FULLBACKZ IZ TEH GOODEST PLAYARZ, TEH 3 YARDZ AND TEH DUSTZ CLOWD!". like drafting back up linemen when you have no wideouts and a street FA playing corner.
  14. if we get turnovers, kick but on special teams, and can just convert some of our 3s into 7s we'll be plenty good enough on O. some big plays here and there are important, but if we are physical and tough that will be better than big stats.
  15. i disagree about peters. left tackle (along with CB) is a super expensive slot because it is very hard to find guys who can play it at that level. it doesn't mean that that slot provides the biggest contribution to the team tho. during the offseason, it is all supply and demand. so yes in the offseason it is hardest/most expensive to replace a good LT (or CB). once the season starts tho the worst people to lose are your QB (if your back up is a lesser player of course), your star playmaker on O, and your defensive key players (which usually means a passrusher or your best DT). while these guys are more "replacable" in the offseason because of the extra supply (and mosly in the draft rather than FA) vs LTs (and CBs) they will make a bigger impact on wins and losses in the reg season. you can scheme your D to cover up for coverage, and scheme on O to help a weak spot at tackle. you will give up more sacks, get fewer ints, and all that, but you at least have some control. you lose your play maker or qb, you lose an entire dimension to your O. you lose your top DT (phat pat for us) and you just might never get your run d on point, and if you lose your passrush (remember that playoff game in pitts when bruce was ill? his usualy dominant game might have won us that match) you can't pressure the o and usually one or 2 guys really kick start your pass rush. so for us, if trent or evans comes on strong they would be the biggest loss (or lych for that matter, but i think evans is more likely to be a top 3 guy this year), failing that it is aaron or stroud. i'd still be a lot happier if peters was in camp and getting ready to smash heads, but if our d is strong and we get the odd long TD and ST play, we can manage.
  16. lol good to read. how awesome would a trade of JP for their first be?!?!?!!? 1st or 2nd overall baby!!
  17. depending on how the incentives are structured, that could be a very very fair contract. would you pay a guy 40 mill for ~20 TDs over 3 years, most of them on special teams? that's totally economical.
  18. i totally understand the willis hate, but between travis, him and lynch the bills have had some shockingly good talent at RB. i really wish we still had henry. he and lynch together rushing about 300 times a season would be monstrous.
  19. do you post with your game used jp losman jock wrapped firmly around your nose, or does the man-scent just get you so hot and bothered you can't type?
  20. you are getting closer the krazykat trolls now bill. bill, i know you have a good understanding of ol play, how would you rate your understanding of secondary play and secondary player evaluation? and further more, how would you rate your understanding of contract negotiation and pro player contracts? how about game theory and negotiations?
  21. i think peters and the bills both know they are gonna extend him. the issue comes down to the type of contract (rest assured it will be in the top 5 OL contracts in all catagories) and when he extends. because he got hurt i think peters and his agent are now scared of getting hurt again before the big payday. i think he is prolly healthy, but just has the fear that if he gets hurt again, he might not get his super money. i think the bills FO wll play ball, but they want to see him healthy and in camp first.
  22. i used to think you were just an insane jp ballwasher. now i know you are on crack.
  23. at least we know that after he is out of the nfl jp will never be wanting for a nice bag massage and balloon knot polish, not as long as krazykat can draw breath? i'd give up on edwards if he is as bad as jp was in his second year.
  24. we do have leverage. if peters sits we can not pay him and he can't play football for 3 years. he has to play if he ever wants to play again. i'm quite sure his contract will get redone (and for huge top 3 nfl lineman numbers) but that won't be until next season. he needs to be proven healthy and play 2 back to back great seasons to be the huge money guy he wants to be. and we don't want to cave after one great season to a guy we have for 3 more years. that alone could really hurt us.
