chicago's tampa 2 has done very well in bad weather. the issue is that we have fck all for lb's AND THEY'RE HURT!

if he was an nfl head coach he'd need a great GM above him because so much of the nfl game would be a challenge for him and distract him from what he is best at. i say we get holmgren as GM and have him keep a watchful eye over leach as HC. holmgren knows how to grow and run a team, and i think he's a class guy so it wouldn't be a power struggle.

some of you guys are missing the point and getting way over your head about ngata. the issue is that mccargo is a bust, and we have no LBs and sht for OTs and bad QB play. that's why we lose. cherry picking the one pick you wrote on a message board about and got right and ignoring the millions you got wrong is silly. fkc ngata and mcargo, we needed a qb and while trent is better than jp, he's not shown enough. we also just don't have any OTs right now. we don't need peters, but we do need a couple OTs, and we have one guy who might be there in a year (bell) butler who was good but got hurt, and then literally zero. at lb we have jack and while we have evans and owens we have way too much wood at wr. OT protects in teh pass game, qbs make the throws, wrs make the plays, and LBs make the tackles. our other guys are pretty good actually, but having jack at those positions is what is killing us. we had plenty of chances to get guys too but didn't.

except for mccargo looking like a bust which is true, he's wrong about the player evaluation. the injuries to mclovn' and poz are bad, but they've clearly been much better players than who they replaced. there isn't one nfl team who would take john over whitner, and whitner would get a nice contract quickly to play for another team if he left us today. clearly our personel need work, but i think this guy is barking up the wrong tree a bit. having no LBs and no OTs, as well as not enough WR ability/size and bad quarter back play is the real problem.
