  1. marshawn is straight money in the redzone. might be the fantasy champ
  2. LET'S KICK THE JERKS IN THE EFFING FACE!!! AAHAHAHAHAH
  3. i expect many sacks and a bills LB core who floats and fakes blitzes to stay frosty on the quick hitting run plays that imo are jax' best hope with a gushy front.
  4. i do think with the jerks' oline being maybe the worst in the nfl, our massive d upgrades, and the fact that we are swapping step child for the turk, jp for trent, and a train for marshawn, we are looking at quite a step up for us vs last year and quite a step down for them.
  5. i'd go KC over jokeland. kc is a bad team, so you won't lose much taking them. jokeland is a team in dissaray, their coach is on the way out. also, they are a good running and bad passing team. this fits in perfectly with KC who are terrible against the pass but decent against the run. the joke qb is a bust in the making, and he will be forced to throw to bad WRs on 3rd and long regularly. that is INTs resulting in FGs and TDs for KC's horrible O. oakland will give up in the 3rd quarter and let it rain.
  6. fair points. i think with peters we should have a bit more in the runnning game and be able to mash out some screens. i also think our d is great. either way, we'll find out sunda in jax, although we might need till week 5 or 6 to really be in our groove and using our young rooks to our full advantage.
  7. i fully expect the bills to walk away with a touchdown victory. the team will have 5+ sacks and althouh there will be some struggles on o will make enough plays to show ability.
  8. good points. i think texas produces awesome talents and great ball players, but they do seem to not get the kids ready for all the stuff that a pro faces. these are kids that face the big time in school, but do so with tons of support. austin is just a really good postive place. a lot of texans (not football players) leave and just pine to go back, they love their home state and are often not comfortable outside of it. i think it is a mix of the uni, the team, and the state culture. of course tough minded players are ready to kick ass anywhere (like the dock).
  9. to me jax was a team with big strong tough guys physical O and running game hard to shake QB Salty D monster D line they don't have the strong tough guys on O, and have half the monster d line gone (havey is nice tho). less physical on O cuz of the line qb is more shakey (see last week) due to lack of beef so we are facing a team that at the moment might be a little bit of a tough match up (cuz of their D) than seattle was. now granted we are on the road, but our O line just got an All pro better and monster walker is still on the pitch. so i don't think it will be as strong of a win by any means, but i think we should win this game. the Jags have a weak to terrible O line and really lack speed on O (fast RBs, but nothing on the edge). i also think our fast persuing D matches up very well with them. 24 13 with some big special teams and D contributions (consider us driving from the 20 to the 45 on their side and punting them down near the endzone as basically being worth points given our special teams and D).
  10. i tried my best to be nice, but... actually i didn't try at all and was just horrible to them. fun!
  11. that was farking awesome. if we are actually good this year i might blow my lid and just go on a shirtless chest kicking bender.
  12. two ways to measure: who played at the highest peak (for however long you think it is required) vs who had the best overall career. in terms of highest level i have to give it to tony boselli. he'd stand up and pancake guys on so many plays, and on stretch running plays his guy would go out of bounds on his side. he was just vicious. tough for me to say in terms of career. munoz i'd have to go with. didn't see it all tho.
  13. while he hasn't put it together yet, in the ncaa and his first year we saw that VY has sick sick tools that could make him a great nfl player. that said, he is just too much of a kitty to do it. collins, his backup, wimped out of his first two teams before making it to a superbowl w the giants, so maybe VY can man up.
  14. good point, but special teams is left out above. the jags at home early are worth more than 3 (call it 4, as a home game for the bills vs a warm weather team late would be about 4 as well). the jags beat us well last year (yeah it seemed close at times, but they broke it open and scored) and last year, particularly early, the bills were HORRIBLE on the road. oh, and the preception is that we are still not good on D, seattle had no WRs and we are pretenders, this is cuz of how bad we were in yardage d last year.
  15. he did look pretty iffy out there. one thing that makes me LOL at akc and such is that a lineman isn't just measured in goodness like some overall number in madden. they play differently and can mix and match well, or not so well. clevland spent a ton of cash on two fat guys that are out of position and looked like beach balls against dallas, minni added a super expensive top guy to a line with 2 pro bowlers and still had NO pass rush all day. also, even a great d line only stops a % of plays, so you need guys behind them, so it's not a waste to have solid corners and safties (BILL IN NYC!!)
  16. this furthers my (awesome) point that while stroud is a killer (our best maybe) without him on the pitch we still kicked ass. this is due to our young guys being better, our vets being healthy, and our guys being fresh from not being out there running down 15 yard runs and passes all day. it's not madden, aggression, confidence, having fun, and a good team spirit can big a huge boost (see the NYG last season).
  17. 10 in the box all day, and lots of blitzing up the gut. we are getting 6 points on the road, that's a LOCK. we might rip 8 or more sacks.
  18. wrt losmn: every one who is a fan or a guy who covers the nfl in some way feels that losman stinks. the only exceptions are an ever diminishing group of bag handlers who feel that jp is a delicate flower of qb wonderment who was broken by the harsh hands of the buffalo front office.
  19. our dline vs back up guards will be brutal. we will stack up, dare them to pass, and i expect another 5+ sack game. perhaps a few turnovers too.
  20. all strong points. imo with brady there were gonna be off this year, 10 or 11 wins. without him and with the target sign on their backs they are looking at 6 or 7. remember the vikings after they didn't make the superbowl due to losing in OT to the falcons? i think that team was like a 7 win team, and frankly was better than the pats are this year.
  21. first of all, stroud is a monster and a top 3 interior D lineman when healthy (or at least was before). that said, he ws out for some plays where our d still kicked butt. it's not just him, i think it's our depth and attitude, and our entire front 7 is improved (poz, mitchell, healthy ends, spencer, williams is emerging, etc.). absolute beasts all over the place, a ton of confidence and aggression out there.
  22. the sweet stinging irony of all of this is in that replay, which will no doubt be played a million times, morris the rb is holding the facemask of hero 49. so even on the play that takes them down, the pats have to cheat. rotten and dirty to the core.
