  1. Taylor panics under even light pressure. He needs to let some fly and take the hit.
  2. Tanking is not necessary if we keep playing like this.
  3. @Baltimore W Jets W Arizona W @New England L @Los Angeles L San Francisco W @Miami W New England L @Seattle L @Cincinnati L Jacksonville W @Oakland L Pittsburgh L Cleveland W Miami W @Jets W 9-7 and this is my glass half full view.
  4. Sure no problem. He said he sat down because he won't support a country that "allows" the suppression of a race. So he was whining instead of doing something about it. So now he says he is going to take some kind of action now that he has make his statement. To me he called attention to himself first and now that he told the world "look at me" he going to take action. Just how it appears to me. On a sidebar: I find protest like this to be counter productive. Making people dislike you by protesting the flag is not going to get people to listen to you just hate you. Martin Luther King endeared himself to people and they followed him. Again JMHO.
  5. Kaep actions is like a child that whines that his room is dirty and sits down pouting in the middle because he doesn't want to clean it. Only after he gets all the attention from throwing a temper tantrum is he going to help clean it. Seems like a very self-absorbed move.
  6. SIgn a QB just to play a preseason game? Hmm.. Can we sign a whole team to play all of the preseason games while our normal roster watches from the sidelines? Maybe that should be our new developmental league?
  7. I've only has Direct tv back on (I had it turned off for a while) for 2 years. Called and got 10% discount on NFL ticket, one of my 4 boxes taken off my bill, and ShowTime free for 3 months with auto shut off. I did nothing special except call. They even redirected me to the proper people to talk too. Call, be polite, and take what they offer.
  8. It just sucks that Murphs time slot start right after practice ends. I enjoyed hearing play by play during practice.
  9. MY draft dream is we trade with either Az or Denver so they can take Lynch. That way we don't have the temptation to draft him and the Jets cannot.
  10. I'd rather have TT regress than stay the same. (I'd rather have him become a superstar and be able to relax for a change.) If he regresses then we know we have to get another QB. If he stays the same he becomes a coach killer IMO. He's the classic type. Flashes of brilliants but not enough to carry a team when it's needed. Even being a running team TT needs to be able to win games with his arm, produce 4th quarter come backs, and burn teams that stack the box. He needs to improve or we need to continue the search.
  11. I have to premise this with if I were a GM the only player I'd EVER trade up to get would be a QB. Sammy may be great someday, but losing picks is a cost that is too much for any WR IMO. So my answer is no.
  12. Testing the blind squirrel theory for 16 years. This year we find that nut.
  13. People do develop at different rates, but how long do you want to wait to see if someone is a bust? My scenario gives them 2 years to show that they have something worth investing in.
  14. To draft a QB every year you have to keep 3 QBs on the roster. For example if we had been using this model right along we would have the current starter, current back up, last years draftee on our roster right now. We draft a QB in a round where ever there is good value. In training camp the coaches "should" know by now if the back up is going to supplant the current starter. He has been in the system for 2 years now. If he does the starter moves to the back up. Whomever the back up is now is in competition with last year's rookie. If Last year's rookie is better the back up is let go. If the back up is better then last year's rookie must be better the this year's rookie or he is gone. Coaches should be able to tell pretty quickly if a QB has something. I mean Rex was saying pretty early in camp that Tyrod had a good chance to win the starting job.
  15. I was thinking how brutal next year's schedule was going to be also so I looked at next year's schedule team's record this year. This year our opponents had a record of 130 - 126. Next year's opponents record is 133 - 123. The 3 game difference is the Cards, Seahawks and Steelers. So from a pure numbers stand point it doesn't look as bad as I first thought.
  16. Totally disagree! I've been to Carolina games and it's nothing more than an event to socialize at. The fans could careless what's going on on the field. It's not like they don't know about football, but college football reigns supreme. All fan bases will jump on a winner no matter what sport it is. That's all that's happening here now.
  17. I think the reason you ask a question like this is the same reason they allow reporters in the locker room directly after games. If they waited until a day later the players would hold stuff back and change their opinions. You want the quick emotional response to get a gauge of the fans feelings now. If you wait a month and something else has taken the lead story in the Bill news the responses will be subdued.
  18. Can Anyone give me an NFL's perspective on Pharoh Cooper I understand he is declaring? He was the best player on an awful South Carolina Team.
  19. Oh great. I have no love for Rex, but starting over is the only thing this franchise has done consistently that is except lose. How about for once we get some continuity for a change. If I'm the owner I let his contract play out for better or worst. Of course this would be against company policy.
  20. Please all remember that throw next year during the draft
