  1. RIP Pancho, strength and peace to you and your family.
  2. This is all part of the NFLs bigger picture of where they see the future of attendance. From ripping out seats in favor of more expensive corporate boxes to PCLs. They want the elite and corporate sponsors to be the ones to actually attend the game, sold as a status symbol as the place to be, as the Cowboys stadium is the prime example, pay a fortune, sip a Chardonnay and be seen while pushing the Joe lunch pails home to watch on Sunday ticket, stream, or on national broadcast to keep veiwership up for the big bread and butter t.v. contracts.
  3. How can you accurately access a player if you have no tape of his touchdown celebrations?
  4. I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but, if Tom Brady was so talented why didn't Michigan play him more instead of going with Henson? There are players that show talent and potential that may not have been on full display for four years but observate scouts see attributes that can be used to make their team better.
  5. That's a good question, one I don't have an answer for, but curious to see what Beane does today.
  6. Well, he certainly knows how to start up a new football league.....I'll give him that much.
  7. It all aligned well, an exceptional talent and a position of need falling to us at 9, couldn't have asked for a better scenario.
  8. If there's a run on QBs, Oliver, if not he'll be gone then Hock, Risner in the 2nd
  9. The needlepoint is a reach! Better value in treading up for the Ming dynasty vase!
  10. Beane will have such masterful draft haul, that Brady will see the writing on the wall and abruptly announce his retirement.
  11. Augie, that's pretty much the point I was trying to make, I think you're just more articulate than I am!
  12. I agree with you they'll be better, after last year I have no doubt. I just wonder how quick they'll gel and get to thier potential.
  13. I've been lamenting this for a while, we brought a bunch of fresh blood in for our O line and I applaud Beane & co for that, but from what I see is alot of "flex" players and the possibility of another round of mix and match going on during OTAs and camp like last year. Could this be a systemic problem? Or does our new O line coach and O coordinator have a plan of who will be their starters and whose depth? Or will we be fiddling with the line through week 3 or so? Help me out because I haven't slept well for weeks because of this.
  14. There were several teams with bad OL this year...Az, Minn, Jets, Us....and very few quality linemen out there so the price was gonna be high for teams truly committed to improving their offense, I don't think we paid any more than any 'attractive market' team would've paid, Beane was just quick and decisive.
  15. I think we all can still painfully remember how bad our special team play was last year, good to see the FO working to address it in addition to our offense.
  16. I just hope our new OL coach can get the right 5 starters set and sync them up early.
  17. I would say his most impressive move was fixing the salary cap mess, the rest remains to been seen.
  18. I think you nailed it Gonzo, the NFL has a women problem already with all the domestic abuse, and the unspoken issue of NFL gear being produced in foreign sweat shops, now to have one of the most prominent faces of the league being associated with sex trafficking is a stain the league will not be able to wash away.
  19. I may be alone in my opinion, but I don't see Mahommes being as successful if we drafted him, the Bills were just not in a position at the time to develop him properly, we wouldn't have sat him for a year, we don't have Andy Reid, of the weapons around him, so it stings to see we traded away the chance, I like the way were taking on our long rebuild process.
  20. The Redskins have so much money already tied up in Smith, I can't see them shelling out big bucks for a free agent or trade, seems the best bet would be a cheaper rookie contract, but I'm not a GM....
  21. They actually have 4th alternates? The Pro Bowl is a joke now.
  22. Obviously the NFL shamelessly flaunting their line of Christmas apearal, they'll be all over their website with free shipping on orders over $100! $$$$$
  23. McDermott cannot make an offensive decision to save his life! This is getting ridiculous!!! A starting QB only getting 33% of first team work Friday before the week 10 game!
