Interesting how their entire gambit is based on their knowledge that almost nobody will read the actual letter sent back by the WH.

Wouldn't the right play for the President have been to have the FBI &/or DoJ review & then let them suggest redactions? Then he could've sent it back saying if the redactions get made it can be released. Or does he expect that Schiff will take the low ground & leak the memo anyway? Really confused why he'd choose to be the one not to release it unless it's simply a case of Trump being Trump. (aka Trump being petty)

It does, but not for the posters you expect it does. Most everybody in here that is doubting the Trump-Russian collusion narrative has been open to the possibility it occurred. Just, we're still waiting for anything substantial AND confirmed to be brought forth. Haven't really seen the heat getting slowly turned up there. But HAVE seen the heat rising against McCabe, Strzok, & company. Will it turn out to be what it appears it might be? We'll see. Either way, I'd like to see as much of the source info that can be declassified for myself to come to an opinion.

Regardless how this all ends, you've been right that there's a behind the scenes war ongoing. Considering all the objections thus far have been about style rather than substance and their airing has been through the media rather than channels that could effect what actually gets revealed it's not looking good for Gator's side. Of course, the ball's still on Horowitz's 29 & a long way from the end zone. Gonna be an intersting year.
