There was an article about why eggs aren’t a problem in Canada but they are here in the US. One of the reasons is that the “free range” hippie stuff has caused a lot of chickens to get infected. Also, we have much larger chicken farms than they do so (because we have 8 times the population) if one farm gets infected it’s far fewer chickens being killed.

Ever since I found out that the virus was likely engineered, I’ve been saying that they did it so that they can kill off their sick/aging population in about 10 years when they can’t support them after the 1 child policy comes home to roost and use a “natural origin” as the excuse. But I don’t think it was intentional 5 years ago. As for the bolded, that was always a stupid reason to create a virus. Look how poorly they do every year with the flu vaccines.

The CS moved their printing to Oswego last August to try and cut costs. And while newsprint cost was mentioned, it was just one of half a dozen things that had nothing to do with tariffs. Newspapers are dying, especially small ones like this. And people haven't been able to cover a $1000 emergency for years.
