Russia could have held her for the entire time of her sentence. The Biden Admin traded a Russian arms dealer for her because they were pressured into it. Let's see what they trade for this guy.
Which is it? Did Russia hold her as just a bargaining chip or did she violate their law? Do you know what kind of sentence the average person gets for bringing drugs into Russia? It's a lot longer than what Griner served.
As for T&C, I doubt this is their first rodeo with an American who unwittingly broke their law. So the tourism aspect doesn't factor into it.
He violated the laws of another country. He probably didn't mean to do it, but he did. Hopefully Biden's Admin is working as hard to get him out as they did Griner.
Try "they wouldn't have been able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt." You know, the Hur reason for not charging Biden for his ciminality.
The Dems thought the lawfare plot would hurt him. It had the opposite effect (not that Biden's terribleness isn't doing the most to help him). It still doesn't mean it isn't a PITA to have to go to court and pay millions of dollars defending himself.
Sorry but you lost any sympathy with what happened on 10/7. But I'm sure that what happened that day is all lies and everything I mentioned is as well.
At the very least it was what the Dems did all throughout his Presidency: take the opposite position from him, even if it made them hypocrites (and it usually did).
