Again Putin has all the cards and has no reason to end the war under terms not favorable to him. I’ll try to do is get some concessions like not bombing energy or infrastructure. And it’s going to be tough for Europe to step up financially when they’re already dependent on/paying Putin and also preparing to defend themselves. I’d only involve our military if we get the mineral rights deal. Other than that, no.

No, Russia has Ukraine and Europe by the balls. If we walked away from Ukraine it wouldn’t matter a whit. And again, if Trump had been president in 2021, Ukraine would never have been invaded. I bet they wish they had never flirted with NATO membership.
