  2. Nostalgia they can do. Reporting they cannot. Why does Toronto have the definitive "future" article? http://m.torontosun.com/2014/03/26/bills-to-stay-in-buffalo-until-at-least-2020?token=fb7c0ad51e287f8d459eab11a8bc9452 The WGR boys are too busy playing grabass on Twitter and the Buffalo News reporters have fallen asleep.
  3. Trade down. Every year trade down. You still need to answer the question regardless. Who do you draft if there is no trade?
  4. "Should we look over this one more time?" "Ah, just go with it."
  5. .. BABY PLEASE DONT GO, BABY PLEASE DONT GO DOWN TO NEW ORLEANS, YOU KNOW WE LOVE YOU SO, BABY PLEASE DONT GO Extremely applicable reference.

  7. Truly was an embarrassment. They are melancholy talking about the Bills. 6 pm comes and they're all of the sudden awake talking about the worst team in hockey. Dumb jokes from Bauch etc. A loser is a loser is a loser.
  8. Yes. If she's able to sit comfortably today I'd be surprised.
  9. Drop him or not. If EJ starts next week and Thad is healthy is shouldn't matter. Flynn will be ready as No. 3.
  10. Normally an on point thread. Tonight? Off like the clothes on a hooker.
  11. I just wish EJ could show some prowess on mid to deep passes. Geno hit on them tonight.
  12. Bill - I always look forward to your postgame comments. Adds a lot of quality to this board. Have to agree on Mario ... And to think he did this against the elusive and mobile Newton.
  13. Was thinking the same thing. I was working as a bus boy at The Towne restaurant when, after the game, a regular came in and we talked about the Magic Flutie. He was choked up and said, "They're back." I felt the same way when EJ was hugging his dad after the game. Maybe they aren't magic yet, but there is a special feeling with this one.
  14. Willamsville North and Buff State graduate here. I now live outside of Atlanta. The weather issue is a non factor. If you live in the south you will get used to the heat and not miss the snow and vice versa. It takes a while to get used to the heat, but you adjust just like a southerner would living in Buffalo. The new south lacks a lot. Food here is terrible. Absolutely horrible. Chain restaurants are everywhere except for the small neighborhoods downtown. Service is slow and sloppy. There are barely any diners or decent pizza places. Waffle House is the standard for a quick bite. The best bet is to eat ethnic. There is a ton of diversity here so the oriental and Mexican food is the best bet. To get anywhere you have to drive. You can go from North Buffalo, to Elmwood to Allentown in 15 minutes. Atlanta neighborhoods are spread out. A lot of things are cheaper down here ... Taxes, gas, but you get what you pay for. The educational system is a joke - 48th in the country. I'd gladly pay higher taxes for better education for my child. There is also this sentiment that college sports are better than pro. Georgia Bulldogs all day long. Very annoying. For a team as good as the Falcons, they get very little run. And believe this ... The further away from Atlanta you go, you will run into some very country people who still think we are fighting the civil war. I will be back in Buffalo someday.
  15. Today I wanted to know what happened to Mario, so I'm glad it was asked. If JW didn't ask, I'd think less of him. A rookie head coach can't lose his cool when he is asked a simple question about his highest paid player if he wants to remain on top. His aggressive response only makes the answer to the question more vital. The fact be doesn't know may embarrass him so be went off.
  16. The longer the process drags out, the more likely guys like Lovie will be looking for a job. A coordinator job is not out of the question for the re-treads.
  17. Schopp doesn't watch college football so his opinion is irrelevant. So is his thoughts on who the QB the Bills should draft is. I only listen to hear him get upset at callers.
  18. Our local reporters haven't made a worthy contribution in years to breaking news coverage. They are always the last to know.
  19. Andy Reid is an arrogant and bumbling coach. His teams should have been in four Super Bowls at least. He forced the passing game with McNabb despite a lack of star WRs and let go leaders like B. Dawkins, J. Trotter for younger, cheaper players. In recent years, he mangled the TO, McNabb and Vick situations and has refused to run the ball with a great back in McCoy in order to stick with his pass first philosophy which got Vick killed the last two years. No one in Philly wants the walrus and I hope he goes to San Diego, not Buffalo.
