  1. what a bunch of young whipper-snappers. 61...
  2. Wouldn't "Happy Days' be a spin-off of the movie "American Grafitti" ?
  3. off topic, but double red collection is all I have done for last 4 -5 years. Fewer needle sticks. Now back to the world cup...Who do the Brazilians cheer for in the final ? The Germans who crushed them OR Argentina ?
  4. Thanks. I was in a public area and just saw the replay with out any volume. Never saw that the ball hit the outside of the net. I was at the Red Cross donating blood and was glad to see the match instead of the normal showing of Dr. Oz or Judge Judy. Nurses kept standing in the way...Next donation I'll achieve the 17 gallon mark.
  5. Definite offside
  6. Deutschland !! 2--1
  7. Sorry for your loss. We had to put our 18 year old dog down a year ago and we think about her daily. You had a great 14 year time frame and your memories will live with you for a very long time.
  8. Does Chile have any player over 5'10" tall ? I hear ya, Meazza about Vidal
  9. I'll add Robert Duvall to this discussion.
  10. John Cazale...He was in very few films, but he was fantastic in all of them. Meryl Streep.
  11. Who says a 0-0 tie is not exciting? What a contest
  12. 61 is a great number. I know it well myself. Happy Birthday !
  13. Random offerings to this thread. Star Trek: First Contact Planet of Apes (original) (( A++ ending)) Terminator 2001: Space Odessy
  14. Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.
  15. YAAAAY.....38 years. Many congrats. Ms. Lew and I will reach 39 in August.
  16. Great choice for the Bills to honor Van Miller. When I lived in NE Ohio, (1978---1988) I would listen to the Browns on AM 970. On a warm fall day ~1980 Mrs. Lew and I were at a picnic near the shore of Lake Erie and I had my radio. I turned the dial to what I thought was 970. As we were listening, I commented, "That's a familiar voice from the past when we lived in Lewiston." Lo and behold it was Van on WBEN 930 radio. I guess the radio waves just zipped across Lake Erie without any interference. So Sunday's in the fall from then on were listening to Van (unless the Bills were televised from Erie PA). Great memories indeed.
  17. TiVoing the marathon is a great way to catch up. THis is an excellent series
  18. Mrs. Lew and I are travelling to St. Martin on a cruise this fall. Alas the trip kills the weekends for the first two Bills home games.
  19. I would buy the DVD collection of this show....and I rarely buy DVDs.
  20. For good eats, go to Lewiston and check out the eateries on Center street. A tour of Fort George on the Canadian side or Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown can be great if you have any interest in the history of WNY. Niagara Falls NY should be avoided if you were last there approx. 25 years ago.
  21. Sorry to hear your news. Prayers headed your way
  22. Welcome CleveRocks. From my perspective all the seats at RWS are great. Good site lines and all. Like others have said, post a week or two befor your arrival and you'll be invited to great tail gates. I used to live in Ashtabula ('78-'88) and followed the Browns and Bills simultaneously. Red Right 88 hurts as much as 'wide right'
  23. Current....Drew Brees Back in the day...John Unitas..Jim Brown....Doug Dieken
  24. No TV that I could find. Followed a Twitter feed. These matches are being played in Portugal. Algarve Cup. USA plays Sweden on March 7.
