  8. off topic, but double red collection is all I have done for last 4 -5 years. Fewer needle sticks. Now back to the world cup...Who do the Brazilians cheer for in the final ? The Germans who crushed them OR Argentina ?
  9. Thanks. I was in a public area and just saw the replay with out any volume. Never saw that the ball hit the outside of the net. I was at the Red Cross donating blood and was glad to see the match instead of the normal showing of Dr. Oz or Judge Judy. Nurses kept standing in the way...Next donation I'll achieve the 17 gallon mark.

  21. Great choice for the Bills to honor Van Miller. When I lived in NE Ohio, (1978---1988) I would listen to the Browns on AM 970. On a warm fall day ~1980 Mrs. Lew and I were at a picnic near the shore of Lake Erie and I had my radio. I turned the dial to what I thought was 970. As we were listening, I commented, "That's a familiar voice from the past when we lived in Lewiston." Lo and behold it was Van on WBEN 930 radio. I guess the radio waves just zipped across Lake Erie without any interference. So Sunday's in the fall from then on were listening to Van (unless the Bills were televised from Erie PA). Great memories indeed.
