  4. add some eggs to this and you can make French toast. Stores here in S WV get mobbed during a storm and the trifecta of foods are emptied from the shelves in a NY minute.
  5. This is a video that my daughter and son-in-law made about their completion of hiking the Appalachian Trail. It is 15 minutes long.
  6. Amazing game last night. Entertaining as all get out I had A&M in the pool I am in so I was happy for the comeback win. Ryan..kudos for picking the score.
  7. Mrs. Lew and I saw "Wolf of Wall Street" It was very entertaining and earned every bit of the "R" rating. And at three hours in length, buy the small beverage for the bladder challenged.
  8. Last minute shopping. ugh Our neighborhood does the Iluminare thing. Candles in the white lunch bags to illuminate the way for the Christ child. We light these about 5:30 and the candles will burn all night. Church service at 7:00 with candle light singing of Silent Night outside on the steps. It was 15* last night at 8:00. Then we drive around looking at the lights on houses. Fewer peeps are lighting their houses. Anyone else notice this ? At the house we have some eggnog and open one present. Off to bed, forgetting to close the garage door last night. Temp went down to 8* and normally this would not be a problem. BUT we are having our bathroom remodeled and some of the pipe insulation was changed. At the break of dawn, Mrs. Lew discovered there was no water pressure. Aarrgghh.. Fortunately my SIL and I found the blockage and the hair dryer worked like a charm. Christmas feast included Ham and Turkey and pumpkin pie. Neighbors came over and we had a grand time.
  9. As the Dolphins sealed the game with the interception of Marcia, I could not believe I said "way to go Dolphins" Mrs. Lew looked at me as if to say "Are you out of your mind? Rooting for the Dolphins?" But my dislike of the Pats > my current dislike of the Dolphins. Anyways, the Bills need to "Squish the Fish" on Sunday and nuke their playoff chances.
  10. No monetary bonus, but each employee gets a turkey at Thanksgiving and a ham at Christmas. Total of 270 at the plant. We get production bonuses each month if levels of production meet goals . Safety and attendance are factored into the bonus level also.
  11. That's a lot of scoring.
  12. Being in group H would have been better. Group D is also a 'group of death " IMHO. G is a killer group. Ghana ugh
  13. Listening to the crowd noise, one would think this was a home game for the Falcons. At least that is how it sounded on Red Zone. Anyone have attendance figures ?

  21. A++ on that video. Well done
  22. Dec 26, 1964. AFC Championship at the Rockpile. THE hit by Mike Stratton on Keith Lincoln. The second memory involves listening to Van Miller on the radio. When we lived in Ashtabula OH, the Browns games were on the radio on AM 970 while the Bills games were on WBEN 930. On a warm Sept. afternoon, we were on the deck and while trying to listen to the Browns game, I heard the very familiar voice of Van Miller. Holy Cow I can listen to the Bills games now. Since the radio signal would just travel across Lake Erie it was easy to listen to the Bills now. Needless to say, this drove Mrs. Lew nuts as I would listen to the Bills games on the radio and watch the other games on a muted TV. Alas, when we moved to WV, that radio thing does not work so well. LOL Third best memory was 51--3. Watched the game in the sports lounge at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The large contingent of LA Raiders fans left early and us Bills fans had the place to ourselves. Mrs. Lew hit a very large jackpot at the slot machine that day too.
