I had started Old Man's War and got distracted/sidetracked by Andy Weir's new Project Hail Mary which has been a really great "addition" to The Martian. Not a sequel at all, but written in that same first person, journal-type method. Need to pick OMW back up again.

I'll go with some basic, popular sci-fi classics... The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series. 5 books, all great, all quick easy entertaining reads, and some of the most famous and legendary quotes ever. The Foundation series by Issac Asimov. There are like 8 books, but really just the first 3: Foundation, Foundation and Empire, Second Foundation. About to come out as a series on AppleTV too. And in newer sci-fi, Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy (Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars). from wiki: That chronicles the settlement and terraforming of the planet Mars through the personal and detailed viewpoints of a wide variety of characters spanning almost two centuries. Ultimately more utopian than dystopian, the story focuses on egalitarian, sociological, and scientific advances made on Mars, while Earth suffers from overpopulation and ecological disaster.

Sounds like our headache is over. Team isnt going anywhere, confirmed over and over. Nothing left for us to worry about.

Are you piecing that together from Beane's comment that we are "just above 80%"? Because that article doesn't seem to name the teams (unless I missed it). Not sure if this question/post is against the rules. Just trying to clarify the info.

Agreed on the McCarthy observations. I think part of it is him being an "outsider" to the Cowboys and not truly a part of the team. Jerry usually likes to hire former Cowboys players as coaches, who are already part of the organization and the unique (weird?) culture there. But yeah, most of what McCarthy says, any of us could come up with by just using what we know of coach-speak. I dont see a real connection to the players, and especially his QB, like we have in Buffalo with McD and the boys.

Absolutely agreed. Doesnt make any less "crazy" of a move, especially when it went down in real time. I dont know. I think its pretty clear. Dont inject opinions. If you want to discuss their availability and what that means for the team, great. If you want to discuss what idiots they are because the vaccine is safe, or that you stand by them because they are standing up to the 5G Overlords, that is out of bounds.

Agreed all the way. And if push came to shove, I'd rather keep Basham over Butler or Harry.

Any other time, I'd say this is a great idea and I'd be ready to move Addison. But we are lined up to make a big run this year, and I still dont think you do that by moving players who are at the top of your depth chart. I think Obada is still the odd man out. Go into the season with Hughes/Addison, Rousseau/Epenesa, with Johnson and Basham playing special teams and Basham even getting some inside reps. Plan for Rousseau and/or Epenesa to push to replace Addison with the starters the first few weeks of the season. I'd be more willing to move on from Butler and play some of our DEs inside when we have to over losing any of our edge talent.

A general rule of thumb is getting tickets on the Visitor Bench side. Usually lots of Bills Mafia right behind our bench. Other than that, there really isnt a way to find a "visitor friendly" section. Maybe find a Bills Backers club nearby who is making the trip to the game and get in with their ticket block or nearby.

Is what it is. The details will get worked out and life will go on. And we'll all still be fans.

This has way less to do with whether the site is far left or far right, and more to do with being able to discern what constitutes a "good source" since these types of "news blogs" certainly exist on both sides.
