  1. The reality of the situation is this: Chicago is not panicking for RB's after letting Benson go, they already were planning for his eventual exit by drafting Matt Forte in the second round this year. In the draft the year before they took Garrett Wolfe in the third round and they also have journeyman backup Adrian Peterson. Also, as someone who has watched alot of Rex Grossman in Chicago, I can tell you unequivically that they already have their own version of J.P.

  7. Great story! Thanks for taking the time to share. In my mind he has always represented the best of what it means to be from Buffalo, your story only confirms it. I don't ever remember someone dying where the news coverage has been so focused in on the values that person gained from their hometown. His love for his hometown and his hometown football team ,The Buffalo Bills , went to the very core of his being. RIP

Just remember: "When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." From The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran Here is a link to a poem that Jimmy Stewart read on The Tonight Show after losing his beloved dog Beau. CLIP Peace be with you.
  12. according to the Buffalo News. Lynch Including: But some police officers in Buffalo and Hamburg are not surprised to hear that Lynch is having legal difficulties. Lynch was tossed out of two Chippewa Street bars in recent months because he brought in his own bottle of liquor, which is illegal under state alcohol laws, according to three law enforcement officials. “[buffalo police] have been told by bar owners that he’ll walk in, order a glass of pop and pour his own liquor into it,” one officer said. “He was told that you can’t do that, and it doesn’t matter if you’re Marshawn Lynch.” Law enforcement officials in the Southtowns said Lynch attended a meeting several months ago with three high-ranking members of the Town of Hamburg police. At least one member of Lynch’s family and a Bills security official also attended. The meeting was arranged after Lynch complained that police were being tough on him and his family, said a police official who works closely with that department. “From what I understand, it was a case of ‘Let’s clear the air here,’ ” the source said. “They thought the police were picking on them.” Town police impounded a vehicle that Lynch had been using and lent to a relative. Authorities said the vehicle was impounded after that relative was arrested for violating a vehicle and traffic law. After the impoundment, Lynch went to Police Headquarters to reclaim the vehicle, but police wouldn’t give it to him, because it actually belonged to a local car dealer. Lynch had a disagreement with some police personnel over the release of the vehicle, apparently prompting the clear-the-air meeting, sources said. In addition, Orchard Park police investigated one minor incident, last Dec. 13, near the end of the Bills’ season. A vehicle apparently driven by Lynch struck a pole outside Ralph Wilson Stadium. Police responded, but no charges were filed, according to Orchard Park police records. Town of Hamburg police have dealt with Lynch and his family on mostly minor matters, usually involving vehicle and traffic laws. That is why one law enforcement official was not surprised to hear about the latest incident involving Lynch’s vehicle. “God, no, I wasn’t surprised at all,” the source said. “It follows a pattern. It’s the kind of stuff he’s been doing. He’s just so cavalier about everything. That was always my impression.”
  13. LOL Maybe we can now go so far to say: When you ride with Lynch you ride with Bin Laden.

  18. I already bought the Nokia several months ago. I love it, but don't know anyone else who uses one. It's not marketed like the Ipod, but I love the features. It doesn't work through wifi only as it his bluetooth enabled so you can grab your internet connection off a bluetooth enabled phone. I'm not familiar with all the features of an ipod touch but know this: 1. The Nokia's screen is bigger 2. The Nokia's screen resolution is better 3. You can use any messenger(including AOL on it) 4. as I mentioned earlier you can connect to the internet through WiFi OR Bluetooth 5. You can put Skype on it for free and call any skype number for free. Or for about $23.00 you can call anyone, anywhere in the U.S. or Canada for free for a year.(You can also be called in for like $20.00 a year w/ voicemail) 6. The Nokia has Adobe flash 7. The Nokia has 2 storage spots for memory, internal and external- you can put up to 16 GB of memory in at a time. But of course you swap out memory cards if need be for music, movies, work etc.- you can't with the Ipod 8. It has FM Radio 9. It has a camera (which you can rig as a video camera) or use it as a VGA webcam 10. It has built in external speakers so you can don't have to always use the headphones 11. It has Java support 12. The Nokia is Linux based and is completely open to third party apps 13. GPS is embedded-so can use it as a GPS for an additional fee 14. I have remote desktop set up on it and can access my home computer anywhere in the world from it. 15. Through setting up media streamer I can access my entire mp3 collection from anywhere in the world on my Nokia The Nokia isn't as "intuitive or probably as easy to use out of the box as the Ipod touch- but I love it, and think Nokia is really fumbling the ball by not marketing this device better.
  19. Congratulations Simon I wish your daughter all the best that life has to offer!
