Not sure how the Bisons how setting up their initial rotation. Chick the Sports section of the Buffalo News(online under the Bisons tab) to see who is pitching on a particular day.

  3. Many people were envious that the Redskins drafted three "name" players last year in the second round: Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly (WRS) and Fred Davis(TE) They COMBINED for the following Stats last season: 21 receptions, 161 yards and 0 TDS A cautionary tale.
  4. Magox: Thanks for responding, I agree wholeheartedly with your comments. Brown IS the best pass rusher in this draft. Brown gets off the snap count extremely quick and among his other strong points that have been noted are - Explosion, hands, spin, swim, rip, reads etc. The best comparison I have heard is Brown is a cross between Dwight Freeney and Saints former stud Rickey Jackson.
  5. Actually I did my homework by posting his results last year. Basically his results sucked. No need for a hissy fit.
  6. Gosselins Final 2008 Mock He got 7 out of 31. (no pick for the Pats) Including having the Bills pick Devin Thomas.
  7. I think Brown provides what the Bills "need" (maybe not what they want) more than any other defensive lineman in the draft. I'm not sold on Orakpo-so he's not a consideration for me. While Maybin has some measurables that Brown doesn't have, I feel Browns ability to get around the corner, quickness off the snap, diverse pass rush skills and ability to use his hands will make him an impact rusher for years to come. While I wouldn't go so far as to call him Dwight Freeney, I will say that Polian took Freeney earlier than many had thought he would go (Ahh..the Mike Williams draft) despite his lack of measurables. I have heard Brown compared to a cross between Freeney and the retired Saints LB/DE Rickey Jackson, and think that might be the best description. Browns highlights
  8. Nawrocki's Mock Draft Above his mock, it was done on March 30th. Obviously he will update his mocks as the draft gets closer, and as one can see from years past he tends to be very accurate.
  9. "....I mean come on if you were on a date with Angelina Jolie a lunch date eating spaghetti and pancakes or whatever it is people eat in Hollywood and as she’s feeding you she farts." Spaghetti and Pancakes? LMFAO
  10. Agreed. Moreno is a beast and has All-Pro potential IMHO. I think there are a few teams that might be lurking in the weeds for him. Taking into consideration Moreno's competitiveness and multi-purpose ability- I think New England might be a landing spot for him. I'd be surprised if they passed on him with their first round pick.
  11. Nice. I saw Public Enemy at that famous venue......Darien Lake. Maybe not the best place to get the authentic Public Enemy experience.
  12. McKinley'sBlessing: Never underestimate the narcissistic tendency of this place. Expect some negative responses to your post from the most delusional in the crew who think TBD is must reading by all the GM's and scouts in the league. Yikes!
  13. Agreed, I'm all about the pass rush. I like Maybin and Brown. Though, I would much prefer Brown. With Maybin being the one available in this "mock" I would have taken him. We have needed a quick twitch pass rusher for oh, so many years- hate to pass one up for a not so bright boom or bust o-lineman.
  14. 12:31 – 12:45 Buffalo - Michael Oher, OT, Mississippi That's what the group think of TBD comes up with for the Bills pick? WTF??? Consider me underwhelmed. TBD has begun to mirror the "inner circle" of the Bills.
  15. I'd prefer not to pickup a retread tight end. At this point Todd Heap has a name, but without the same game. This draft really seems to have quite a few options at the tight end position and I'm hoping we finally fix a problem long term that we have had for quite awhile.
  16. Walter and Eddie Payton Matt and Chris Bahr (kickers) Buffalo brothers: Craig and Ron Wolfley both played in the NFL
  17. The Selmons even had another brother, Lucious, who was drafted by the Patriots in the 16th round of the 1974 draft.
  18. Best wishes, please let us know how you are doing when you get the chance.
  19. Actually, Lombardi has the Bills trading pick #11 to the Jets for their #1 and pick/s. He has the Bills taking Pettigrew with the #1 obtained from the Jets. It's the Jets that take Freeman.
  20. George Steinbrenner weighs on on Sabans death TAMPA, Fla. -- Yankees principal owner and chairperson George M. Steinbrenner reflected Sunday on the passing of Lou Saban, saying that the former NFL and college football coach directly influenced his own life. Saban's career spanned five decades and dozens of jobs, including a stint as the president of the Yankees in 1981 and 1982. He died Sunday at his home in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and was 87. "My friendship with Lou goes back to 1948, when we were both involved in a youth track and field program in Cleveland," Steinbrenner said in a statement released by the Yankees. "He has been my friend and mentor for over 50 years, and one of the people who helped shape my life. Lou was tough and disciplined, and he earned all the respect and recognition that came his way. He spent a lifetime leading, teaching and inspiring, and took great satisfaction in making the lives around him better." Saban played football at Indiana University and for the Cleveland Browns of the NFL before serving as the head coach of the Boston Patriots, Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos of the American Football League. His lengthy career also included service as the head coach at numerous colleges, including Northwestern, Maryland, Miami and Army. "This is a tremendous loss to me personally, and I extend my deepest condolences to his wife, Joyce, and the entire Saban family," Steinbrenner said.
  21. With the talent the Bills had under Levy I think Lou would have won a championship. After they won one, all bets are off if the team would remain on top, self destruct or if Lou might walk away.
  22. I am looking forward to seeing this movie! The book was my all time favorite kids book- looks like Spike is going to do it justice. Can't beat having Arcade Fire on the soundtrack. The song in the clip is "Wake Up" from their LP titled Funeral.
  23. I have talked to several people on on the Bills Wall of Fame Committee. Basically, the committee is given a list of "approved" names by Ralph to choose from. When they make their final choice from the list, Ralph has to sign off on it. Ralph doesn't want Lou or Coookie on the Wall, and until he does, they will never be there.
  24. I used to live in Manayunk. I watched the Bills final Super Bowl loss at a bar on Main Street. Memories.........
