  1. Very nice article. I'll say this, when covering a story Tim Graham leaves no stone unturned. We are fortunate that he chooses to be a part of the TBD community. TO? I'm impressed, but if your kid is into journalism they should get a Graham jersey and wear it proudly!
  2. The announcers asked him if he was going to wear #81, he said if he was going to start a problem "this is the place where he would start". He was asked if he has to pay Hardy $100,000 for the number, T.O. said "no, no, it's a recession." Overall very smooth and entertaining, T.O. really knows how to work the media.
  3. LMFAO! From the reports I read, the Bills will be bringing in a Feng Shui expert to address the locker room concerns addressed on this board.
  4. Ayers isn't a small pass rushing end, but he is big enough to play strong-side end and provide above average pass rushing skills. Mike Mayock ranks him as the 12th best player in the draft. NFL.COM
  5. 2 Bills Questions: 1. List the top 3 players you think the Bills are targeting. Thank you! Wes Bunting: Outside Pass Rushers 1. Aaron Maybin: Penn State 2. Robert Ayers: Tennessee 2. Everette Brown: FL State 2.The Bills are in need of a 4-3 DE. I really like Robert Ayers but at 11 it could be a bit of a reach. What you think about him? Wes Bunting: I love him, he is NFL ready and the more tape I watch on him the more I want to move him up as my top DE. After I go back and do my final evaluations, Ayers could be on the top of my DE board. Come draft day, 11 won’t be a reach at all.
  6. Haslett head coaching in the UFL? He's in over his head.
  7. Mike Lombardi's column regarding this subject
  8. Good point youbotymyboty. It will entertaining watching Owens and McKelvin matched up in training camp.
  9. I'm with you on this one. We certainly have nothing to lose. T.O. at 6.5 million or Coles at 4 years 28 million....decisions, decisions.... Can't wait to see T.O. at camp!
  10. He's not going to wear #1, his number hasn't been decided yet.
  11. Here is a link to the house in Orchard Park.(Google Street View) Lynch's New House
  12. My response in past years would have been NO to adding Owens. As many of you Bills fans are, I've gotten a bit jaded and worn out with the dysfunction of the Bills organization. Terrell Owens is a train wreck, the Bills organization has already crashed and gone of the tracks, so how could he make things worse? Roll the dice, heck, it would at least make going to training a bit more interesting.(even if Owens is a boorish creep) My guess is Owens might make a few more plays than Josh Reed.....
  13. Agreed. Ha...funny stuff!
  14. Agreed. Great analogy Tim. People have been writing Mason off for years, and he has provided his team/s stellar play, toughness, blocking and leadership well beyond Coles' age of 31. Maybe he doesn't fit other teams need for a number 1, but for us, Coles would be a perfect number 2.
  15. Here is a quote from his column today: 2. I thought Derrick Dockery played as badly as any guard in the NFL last year, so the ‘Skins better hope Joe Bugel can help him regain his old form. The deal was mind-boggling considering the Bills wanted to bench him halfway through the season.
  16. That would be the Chris Mortenson School of Journalism
  17. Thanks for taking the time to share.
  18. On a side note: If Seattle and the Bengals lose out on Houshmendazeh to Minnesota, I wonder if they will switch their sights to L.Coles.
  19. Adam Shefter from NFL networks was the original source: he said for Coles to turn down $6 million in guaranteed money from the Jets means he must have a deal in place already with another team.
  20. Double Yikes! Its' sad if Bills fans have to start taking up a collection before free agent visits, to make sure the player being recruited stays at a decent hotel and gets a decent ride.(no Taurus!)
  21. One initial reporting speculated that Coles turned down a quite generous offer from the Jets because he already had a deal in place with another team.(Dolphins) His visit to Buffalo was considered smoke screen to avoid the look of tampering by the Dolphins. We shall see today. Will he go for the money, or does he want to be on a team striving to win a championship, if he picks the latter he wont be a Buffalo Bill.
  22. Thanks. But if you followed the news, you would realize his former coordinator, McDaniels is the head coach of the Broncos.
  23. So many Bills fans cry and whine insisting Cassel will crash and burn once he leaves the Pats. It's interesting that Pioli makes the trade for him, and his former offensive coordinator, McDaniels, would rather hitch his wagon to Cassel rather than Cutler.
  24. REPORTS: BRONCOS ENTERTAINED TRADING CUTLER Posted by Mike Florio: Saturday, February 28, 2009 4:22 PM Adam Schefter of NFL Network and Vic Lombardi of CBS4 in Denver report that the Broncos have been shopping quarterback Jay Cutler. Per both reports, the Bucs and Broncos were trying to swing a three-way deal pursuant to which Matt Cassel would have been traded from the Pats to the Broncos, Cutler would have gone from Denver to Tampa, and the Patriots would have been compensated presumably by the Buccaneers. According to Schefter, the Lions also approached the Broncos about a trade for Cutler. And here's where it gets interesting. Schefter's version creates the impression that the Broncos didn't initiate the talks, and merely responded to the offers presented. Vic Lombardi's version suggests that the Broncos were and are shopping the eleventh overall pick in the 2006 draft. "I've heard the rumors," Cutler told Vic Lombardi. "I know what they're trying to do. Even though I love Denver and I'd love to remain a Bronco, I know how this business works. If they want me to play somewhere else, so be it." Despite Cutler's generally P.C. comments, Schefter contends that Cutler was angered by the news. There's a consensus in league circles that Cutler has plateaued after showing some improvement early in the 2008 season. He has been criticized in some circles for having a nonchalant demeanor. The reality is that, whenever there's a new coach, there's a chance that he'll want to pick his own quarterback. Regardless of whether the Broncos initiated the trade talks, the fact that the Broncos said anything other than "hell no" suggests that new coach Josh McDaniels wants to go in a different direction.
