  1. I like Po Football Weekly's draft info.---I buy their guide- but, they have some free stuff at their site. Check out Mayock's stuff at NFL.Com and Wes Bunting's stuff at The National Football Post. As far as a free guide, try CBS Sportsline: Link
  2. 1. Brandon Pettigrew 2. Everette Brown 3. Alex Mack
  3. Very good article. In a typical draft at pick 11 we'd have ALL 4 OT on the board-considering their talent level. This draft is the weakest I've seen in a very long time. At this point I'm liking the idea of drafting Pettigrew and skipping out on OT until later. We justcan't afford to take a boom or bust player like Smith or Oher IMHO. Pettigrew WILL help the OL out immensely AND improve the passing game. As far as the smallish receiving tight end types we have been clamoring for, our offensive line is a complete disaster and there is no way our tight end will not be needed to block, block and block. Pettigrew by all accounts is a beast in that area. Also, as far as those smallish rookie tight ends, do you actually think Schonert will design plays to utilize one of them? I mean he couldn't design plays for Lee Evans or Roscoe- I don't think a smallish rookie tight end will be utilized.
  4. As per Michael Lombardi at The National Football Post this morning: The Jets have one tight end on the team, and if they can’t move up in the draft and select a quarterback, then tight end is a viable option. And before you email me about the great Dustin Keller, please know this: He can’t block — at all. He is a mismatched wideout who is very effective in the passing game, but he can’t play tight end full time — and if he has to block anyone, the Jets are in trouble. So for the Jets to maximize Keller’s talents, they need another tight end who can line up on the line to be the blocker, the protector and the physical player — all the things Keller will never be successful doing.
  5. Just another post I attribute to it being Cannabis day (4/20)
  6. Mark me down a someone who thinks Everette Brown is the best pass rusher in this draft. By all accounts (or lies) he appears to be slipping in this draft. I would love to add him to the Bills, and it seems like a pick in the 20's will get it done.( though, of course 28 is really pushing it)
  7. Don't think it's going to happen Tipster. First off, I don't think the Eagles will trade for Boldin. IMHO they are serious suitors of both Moreno and Pettigrew. Adding Pettigrew next to Peters and Andrews would be very tempting. for Philly.(and for Bills fans, oh, what might have been) The Falcons are still after a tight end until they obtain Gonzalez, and since they haven't yet, it's wishful thinking they wont take Pettigrew. The Jets are also a possibility. Lombardi at the National Football Post insists they want and need a tight end despite taking Dustin Keller last year. We Bills fans are so desperate for a receiving tight end we are forgetting receiving tight ends like Keller, etc. can only be utilized to their fullest extent when they are not needed to help out the offensive line. I'm sorry, but looking at our OL- our tight end will be doing alot of blocking. Not getting Philly's earlier first round pick really hurts- that seemed like a great place to get Pettigrew.
  8. Will only questions in his area of expertize(marketing) be allowed?
  9. This might be the creepiest thread I have ever read on TSW. Cheers to those who took the time to constructively address the creepiness(I was too lazy) and those who are creepy, you know who you are
  10. Thanks for doing the math. Your math is food for thought for all of us here, but particularly those that have a messianic complex about the power and influence that they perceive TSW to have.
  11. His contract will not be renewed on ESPN. Link Yippee!
  12. Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride!
  13. LOL It was real and I think they had pictures of Wilson in the Taurus on WGRZ.com Wasn't this around the time of the infamous George Siefert sightings at the airport? Or was that the previous coaching search? I have to admit I love the Siefert sighting, it reminds me of the Sienfeld episode when George bought a car owned by Jon Voight for some reason. If I had the extra cash, next year when the Bills fire Jauron I'd pony up the cash and hire Siefert to hang around the Buffalo airport for a few hours just to screw with everyone on TSW.
  14. Win what? Since when was winning a determining factor?
  15. As much as the chances of Curry dropping to us are slim, that respected people like Nawrocki are saying that it could happen certainly is exciting. How many Bills drafts have we been through where we miss the guy we want by a pick or two? Having Curry fall would truly be lucky........as long as we don't pass........
  16. What if Curry fell to us and we passed on him?
  17. I wonder what Deep Voice would have to say about all this Peters ruckus?
  18. Is that you Susan Doyle?
  19. no, if it was really Oher he would have signed it like this: X
  20. While that was disgusting, it was, oh, so appropriate.
  21. Tim: The Eagles have been a very successful franchise the past decade. It's telling that the Eagles had plenty of cap room and extra picks this year and could have obtained Braylon Edwards or Anquan Boldin with the picks they traded us---but instead targeted Peters. The Eagles feel he is worthy of 3 picks(including a first rounder) AND probably the 11 million a year he is seeking. What does a successful franchise like the Eagles know and practice that a losing one like the Bills doesn't?
