  1. 'Cause I'm just a fellow with a, one track mind And when it comes to thinkin about Anything but my baby I just don't have the time I'm too busy thinkin' about my baby Oh I ain't got time for nothin' else Too busy thinkin' about my baby Ain't got time for nothing else
  2. Anyone who bet on Jimmy the Greek's picks would be in the poor house. I knew people who waited for his picks to bet against them and made money.
  3. Yes I do, and we weren't even good at doing that. Our #4 picks were Mike Williams and Marcel Dareus. I am thrilled that we are finally a good team and even placed a small bet on the Bills in Vegas at 6.5 x 1 odds, but decades of suffering don't just vanish (or at least not in my case). Thankfully, I now don't allow myself to get as crazy when bad things happen to the Bills. In summary, I fully understand what Jay is getting at, and I think that most of us have at least some feelings of trepidation about the Bills, ya know? I don't think that I was the only Bills Fan to be not that shocked when we blew the lead against KC.
  4. … A life is time, they teach us growing up The seconds ticking killed us all A million years before the fall You ride the waves and don't ask where they go You swim like lions through the crest And bathe yourself on zebra flesh … I've been downhearted baby, I've been downhearted baby, Ever since the day we met
  5. Peterson got to practice on his baby son.
  6. I sent a letter to a man I know, It said one for ther money, two for the show. I waited all summer for his reply It said three to get ready and four to fly. RIP Robert Hunter.
  7. Now there is shocking news!!!
  8. I don't really understand what you mean by this.

  10. Good point. Imo, the entire ACC other than Clemson are weak sisters (at least for the time being). It does appear that Miami might be good at some point but as I said previously, the current situation gives Clemson an unfair advantage.
  11. Smiling faces greet me Everyone's my friend They pretend So sad so sad They see I am happy With my lady They're not satisfied All their feelings died Something in this city changes people Makes them devil-eyed My love she waits for me
  12. You search in your bag Light up a ***** Think it's a drag, but you're so glad To be alive honey Alive honey Said when this is all over You'll be in clover We'll go out and spend All of your blue money Blue money Blue money
  13. This scenario puzzles me. It would not seem to provide USC or UCLA with a better chance of winning a title. That said, I think that this move, as well as Texas and Oklahoma entering the SEC benefits Dabo Swinney and Clemson the most. The ACC has no really good teams other than Clemson, unlike the Big 10 and the SEC which are usually stacked with tough, talented teams. Dabo usually hs a deep enough squad where he can pull most of the starters and beat his weak opponents with second and third stringers, while teams like Alabama and OSU face strong teams. I've seen Clemson arrive to the playoffs with a comparatively fresh, rested team. Notre Dame should also like this setup. At some point these conferences will probably leave the NCAA, or so it would seem.
  14. I know you Don't know what I'm going through Standing here, looking at you Well, let me tell you that it hurt so bad It makes me feel so sad It makes me hurt so bad, to see you again
  15. Now that is a true superstar 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Not only that, he was the second safety selected. He also had a domestic incident while at training camp, was a holdout, and collected approx. 36 million dollars in salary, all in real cap dollars. I heard Levy say on the Sirius NFL Channel that he turned down "numerous trade offers" for that pick. Sad but true.
  17. I get mixed emotions It's the way my feelings flow Excuse me I'm only human Sometimes I, I just don't know Every time I move I lose When I look I'm in And every time I turn around I'm back in love again Do-do-do-do do Back in love again Do-do-do-do do Back in love

  19. You two should do a virtual hand shake. The truth is if this "poll" was to include questions on who the best and most knowledgeable posters are, both of you would be right at or around the top. The 2 of you are a VERY big part of what makes this board so good. Sorry to butt in as a self appointed mediator here lol. Jmo.
  20. I think that hiring Levy as GM was much worse than the Gailey hiring. I will even go out on a limb and say that Rex was worse than Gailey.
  21. Come Saturday morning I'm goin' away with my friend We'll Saturday-spend till the end of the day Just I and my friend We'll travel for miles in our Saturday smiles And then we'll move on But we will remember, long after Saturday's gone (Come Saturday morning, come Saturday morning)
  22. Thanks for what I consider to be a perfect post.
  23. Took her bowling in the Arcade We went strolling, drank lemonade We made out under the dock We stayed up 'till ten o'clock Summer fling, don't mean a thing But, oh, oh, the summer nights
  24. Well, I knew that these picks (McKelvin and Whitner to name 2) were mistakes the day they were made mand it was easy to figure for me. And of course, I am not a scout, coach or GM. A 12 year old kid with a copy of Joel Buchbaum's Pro Football Weekly could draft better than Levy/Jauron. Remember, this thread went in the direction of people being over critical of the Bills and those being total "homers." My response was in that context, and I'm sorry if I was a bit short.
