I was watching a comedy show in Vegas last week (no, not the Bills draft). It consisted of 3 very talented comedians. The last one said slightly before the end of the show that please remember this is just comedy, and that the jokes are not meant to offend anyone. I guess that it is safe to assume that he sensed that there would be other incidents after Will Smith. I am not surprised, nor should anyone be. When bad behavior is condoned (if not rewarded in some cases), it will continue. There is no mystery here. Jmo.

Very interesting post. As a life long Alabama Fan, I respectfully disagree with the bold, and I'll tell you why..... The 2021 college football season was a strange one. Almost every team (UGA being an obvious exception) had a dropoff in talent. Think about it, Cinn. was actually a playoff team (although they of course were promptly slaughtered). This draft, for lack of a better word, sucked. For example, Alabama had only 7 players drafted. 7 players!!! In 2021 they had 6 players drafted in the first round alone, along with 2 in the second. My point? I think that both Davonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle will have better NFL careers than Williams. Now, obviously this is not an all knowing proclamation. It is just a prediction/opinion from a fan who has seen every play of Smith and Waddle's college careers (and all of JW's in his time in Tuscaloosa). I was actually hoping that the Bills would trade down to acquire more picks in 2022, and use this draft to pick up receivers and guards (if no tackles were available) but alas; we traded UP for a first round zone corner, proving that we are still the Bills lol. But as @BADOLBILZ says all the time, this is entertainment. I am not going to get crazy over this draft, and tbh, I expected nothing less. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fully agree. This was the worst draft I have seen in a very long time. I know that most of this board thinks that Mac Jones sucks, but he would have deserved consideration to have been selected at #1 in this weak draft.

More corners and a couple of safeties. Maybe another running back.

Heart warming! Music to my ears. All this happiness brings a tear to my eye. I was a tad edgy last night but once we drafted a corner I slept like a baby. I am actually in Las Vegas. Got here Wednesday, leaving tomorrow. This pick made it all worthwhile.

What a wonderful first round pick! Now the Bills need to focus even more on another corner, and also a pair of safeties! Josh Allen is pretty good but he has enough weapons and more than enough blocking, so even if we have to trade up again for more defensive backs, I say let’s do it! Great post, but we can't let little things like that stop us from drafting a first round defensive back. I mean.....forget Josh Allen. He is already good. Why waste picks on blockers and/or receivers? We have history to fall back on. Donte Whitner (the 2nd ranked safety in 2006) had arms that were 30.63 inches. I lost count of the games that he won for the Bills! Levy and Jauron didn't want desperately needed help on both lines. Of course not, as long as there was an undersized defensive back to grab in round 1 and pay 36 million dollars to.

Nor do I John. For lack of a better way to say it.....this draft sucks imo. The 2023 draft looks really good from what little I can tell about it. I cannot recall any draft that I was less excited about. Jmo.
