  1. And if she should tell you: "Come closer" And if she tempts you with her charms Tell her no, no, no, no, no-no-no-no No, no, no, no, no-no-no-no No, no, no, no, no Don't hurt me now for her love belongs to me
  2. I'm sorry. I thought that they were already all but finished.
  3. If things keep going down the tubes, McDermott will probably blame Beane next and fire him. Count me as one who strongly believes that McDermott is running the entire show. I think that many fans just don't want to believe this but strong evidence does exist. Mr. Pegula needs to fire McDermott immediately.
  4. Close? C'mon, the game was not at all close. Alabama had 482 total yards with 301 yards rushing. Cincinnatti managed to eke out 210 total yards. I sure was glad that Cincy was their opponent. https://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore/_/gameId/401331235
  5. OK. Another question is: How are some teams allowed to get over playing piss poor schedules? Yeah, South Carolina and Vanderbilt had rough seasons lol.
  6. Of course. And thousands of women pull out their own hair.
  7. When I recently got into a petty dispute with my wife, I choked her, threaten to kill her, and pulled out chunks of her hair. After I finished, everyone who knows us labels it as a "misunderstanding", even though it was my second time doing so. Now, I will just resume my normal affairs. You see? Beane makes a strong point. Nobody should jump the gun and judge Miller as human filth. Anyway, McDermott and his flunky Beane need to be kicked to the curb and tossed out of Buffalo.
  8. What happened when the committee stupidly let Cincinnatti in? Oh, I know.....they got destroyed by Alabama. That is how it works when second rate, or even fairly good teams get to the playoffs.
  9. You too would probably win the seal of approval from those questioning who we cheer for. It's going to be a very taxing game for both very physical teams. I'm thinking Crimson Tide 31 - Michigan 17 but to win like this they will need to score points on defense.
  10. Mullen really is a fine coach but he is more suited to the NFL than to college. Coaching in college requires far more work imo. Mullen was unwilling or unable to recruit.
  11. I don't live in WNY but became a Bills Fan the day that the Jets left for New Jersey. I always prefered the AFL/AFC. My father was born in Alabama and I have been a fan of the Crimson Tide for more than 50 years through good times and bad. Am I to be given a pass?
  12. Well, Alabama went on to defeat both Clemson and Georgia so I guess that they were pretty good, but; this shouldn't stop anyone from hate or jealousy, no? Oh and by the way, check out who they demolished in game one 😮 https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/alabama/2017-schedule.html
  13. Now being without you Takes a lot of getting used to Should learn to live with it But I don't want to Being without you It's all a big mistake Instead of getting easier It's the hardest thing to take I'm addicted to you, babe You're a hard habit to break
  14. How did Jimbo make out in the SEC vs. real teams?
  15. I'll try: Florida State could not have won the National Championship.
  16. So true. Spiller is excellent “in space.”
  17. So are you saying that all of McDermott's teams fell apart in the middle of the season?
  18. There are several posters that I consistently learn from on TSW. I am not going to name names, but one in particular knows FAR more than any sportswriter that I am aware of and expresses himself better as well ,with a mix of great humor to boot. Other great posters are a step behind him but still extremely informative. This board has now been in existence for decades. Many of the posters have met at RWS and at other events. As Bills Fans, we have shared tales of wow and sang arias of discontent at the way this team has been poorly run, and we have been doing so for just so many years. Still, here we are, the most loyal fans on the planet. Off The Wall imo is a well needed place to relax. I tried, but was unable to survive the PPP Board. I would bet that not one mind has been changed over there despite years of mostly hostile discussion. In addiition to that, several posters have numerous screen names to spew the same unconvincing, tired rhetoric. That place is a mental and emotional sewer that should probably be closed down before the 2024 election. Watching the Bills can be depressing enough at times. Those lucky enough can find some humor at some of the Bills' debacles. Sadly, I generally cannot. In summary, TSW and OTW are a great combo. It was very well thought by SDS and the mods. Conversation on OTW is generally light and often helpful. TSW is the place to go to learn and express opinions about the Bills. Thanks to SDS, mods, and the posters.
  19. OK.....did you watch FSU vs. Louisville and Alabama vs. Georgia? If so, are you really ready to say that FSU is even almost as good as either Bama or Georgia? They are not even in the same class as either of those teams. I really dont think that there are many people in the world that think FSU, especially missing their quarterback, would stand a chance against those two powerhouses. Sorry, I can't understand how anyone could think this, especially given the fact that they are coached by Saban and Smart..
  20. Yeah, he looked great against the really tough Louisville (defense last night who gave up 31 points to Kentucky). And I understand how you are butt hurt by Alabama getting in and I want you to feel better. Still, comparing the ACC to the SEC really is silly. Clemson was great and now even they are just a so-so team. I give you credit however for taking a stand, especially when there are probably only about 6 or 7 college football fans in the world think that the ACC is anywhere close to being almost as good as the SEC but hey; one cannot put a price on originality.
  21. As I said in a previous post, I know little about Michigan. Yolo, Willyville Guy, and many other posters do follow the Big 10 and I hope that they chime in. Your question about UGA is a very good one. I think that Georgia is far superior to Washington. This of course doesn't mean that I am correct. Obviously I am partial to the SEC and lack a great deal of respect for other conferences but yes, UGA is clearly one of the 4 best teams. The above is of course jmo. It is not an all knowing proclamation and I know that the Alabama haters are butt hurt. Still, a few of facts do remain: 1) Georgia won 29 straight games, 2 consecutive national titles, was ranked #1 for most of the season and Alabama defeated them, in Georgia. 2) The last four national titles were won by LSU, Alabama, Georgia, and Georgia. This has to be indicative of something, no? And btw I appreciate the dialogue.
  22. This is impossible to argue with imo. I think that UGA would wipe the floors with Washington and/or FSU. Texas looks great and I think that Coach Sarkisian is one of the best offensive minds that I have ever seen. I don't know much about Michigan and hope that @YoloinOhio will jump in and tell us more about them. He as always been quite accurate in his posts about the Big 10.
  23. I get it. Strength of schedule means little to nothing to you and I clearly understand why. Florida State had a rough time against Louisville, who was beat by Kentucky, a middling at best SEC team. In fact, Louisville gave up 38 points to Kentucky iirc. Florida State is not even close to Georgia and/or Alabama. There is just no comparison. Why didn't FSU jump to the SEC? I think it is safe to assume that they know that they would struggle to be a .500 team. I am not saying that Alabama will win the title but if they do, it would not be the first time that they won it from the 4th seed. We will see what happens but at least we really might have been spared another debacle like the trouncing of TCU last season, wouldn't you say?
