I have been posting back and forth with @GunnerBill for a considerable amount of time. He is one of my favorite posters. We don't always agree but I highly doubt that he is "antagonized" by my posts. If my posts were causing him distress (and I see zero possibility of this) I'm sure that he would let me know and I would gladly apologize. As for you, if my posts about my views of the Bills antagonize you all THAT much, I do suggest that you employ the ignore feature. It works well, and I intend to use it on you. i don't think that you bring a whole hell of alot to the board, and I'm fairly certain that we will not miss each other.

Perhaps, but don't you also see the low expectations of some posters as a defense mechanism? I mean really. And it isn't a matter of not supporting the team. I went to a game in which Alex Van Pelt was the starter. Do you think that we had a decent chance to win? All of us have a large list of the huge bad breaks we have witnessed as fans. There is no need for me to itemize them. I have lived through some of the worst coaching and general managing possible. I've suffered through draft choices which were unthinkablly stupid, yet I have spent thousands of dollars to attend games and support the team. Things are not quite as bad as they used to be. There is no doubt about this but some mistakes are still evident and scars do remain for many. I suppose I should be classified as one of the "pessimists" wrt the Bills. My life experiences have taught me to hope for the best, but to also be realistic. With Josh Allen, we have a chance to win a Super Bowl. Perhaps even a very good chance. I for one hope that this opportunity isn't wasted by poor management. Bills Fans really do deserve a winner. One great thing about this board is the intellectual discussion between people with varying opinions of the Bills and how the organization is managed. This I find to be far more interesting and often educational than reading a board full of posts from people who only see the bright side and will be pom pom wavers for anything and everything the Bills do. I know what you mean. In my case I don't really lose interest but my expectations are lowered because of McDermott.

Agreed. I liked the pick and tbh I was surprised by it. I think that if we had better receivers, Kincaid would get less coverage and develop even faster.

Imo this shows how it is imperative to draft these wrs early. Lamb was selected at #17. Even if the Cowboys lose him they got four very good, and not too expensive seasons out of him. The thing is, McDermott doesn't focus much on wide receivers. In fact, since 2017, McDermott has only drafted TWO wide receivers in round 2 and NONE in round one and yes; I am aware of the Diggs trade. During this same time span, he drafted 5 defensive players in round one, and 3 in round two. In 2017 he traded back (giving away the Mahomes pick) and twice he traded UP to draft defenders (Elam and Edmunds). It is important to note that Beane wasn't here in 2017, although it is a popular thing to blame all questionable drafts on him, and not McDermott. It is hard for me to visualize a great deal of improvement unless he at some point decides to provide Josh Allen with more and better receivers. Doing so would seem to make total sense. Sadly, 15 dollars is a great price for an excellent sandwich these days. Last week I went to Katz's Deli and got a pastrami on rye and a Dr. Browns cream soda. It cost me more than 30 dollars in all. The sandwich had enough meat for 3 people (of course I ate it all) and was delicious. Marv seemed to be a very nice man, but any number of good coaches would have won at least one Super Bowl. As a GM he was exceptionally horrific. He and his clone Jauron set back the franchise MANY years with the 2006 draft, their first. It didn't get better after that. When Jauron came from Chicago we were excited on TBD. You however told us that he sucked before he ever botched a draft and lost us a game. One of my favorite things about TSW is when people argue with you as if they are experts and you are dumb. 😁 Great stuff!!!

After Jerry, the band I enjoyed the most was Furthur. I was at the following show and it was great. They also did a fantastic version of "Shakedown Street." I'm not thrilled by Dead and Co. At this point I would rather was Melvin Seals and the JGB. Hey, jmo.
