UNderstood. I do agree with a QB needing an edge. I remember JP Losman missing that part completely (besides his failings as a QB)

Him not getting the ball was a combination of EJ's lack of vision and accuracy combined with Watkins ' lack of preparation. Just a match made in hell. For those that followed his college career, were there indications of slacking off and being generally disinterested? I would think scouts can smell this kind of stuff. The idea to get a game breaking receiver to pair with a young QB was a good one. But the player was wrong. Frustratingly so. Davis OTOH is trending in the direction of maximization of his talent - the most we can expect of any player. I hope Davis puts his niggling injuries behind him as he has shown he can make the tough catches and be a true #2

Are you saying I am old ? Are you ?

Not sure if you are being sarcastic, Kirby. But it takes more than boinking your mom's friend to be an alpha. With the O resources added to the Jets we will see if he takes command of their offense in the way an aggressive leader would.

And all this before he got ... errr... thick

Hyde & Poyer via Cover 1 with preface from Belichek

More evidence that BB is softening up/opening up as opposed to his smug old self. The locker room compliments to Allen followed by this complimentary analysis of a division rivals players is refreshing to hear. There was never any doubt that he is one of the smartest coaches ever but i dont recall him praising an opponent's player with regularity (besides the standard pre-game "they are a tough opponent" rote line) -
They should know by now that their situation is going to be a total mess. They can choose to molly coddle Mayfield into playing well or get a Plan C in place . Their upcoming season is going to be a disaster unless Mayfield takes the high road and plays well enough to keep the Browns from being the worst team in the NFL

I agree. She has become a staple in the middle rounds and is maximizing her talent. That's the most we can expect from any athlete. -

I know you were looking for Bills wins but I am scarred by this game and can never forget the anger, frustration and disappointment during this game: https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/nfl/summary/23567 -

Epenesa, Ford & Moss -Are they outta here?
Fan in Chicago replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's actually a very good way to look at the picks. The slavish adherence to BPA can also be a problem (not implying that McKelvin, Whitner were such). Should have a measure of practicality - if the next player is close on the board but fills a need esp at premium position like T , WR or DE, the other player should be picked. But those were dark days for the franchise and much of that was self inflicted by the FOs at the time -

But truth be told, he did underperform his draft position. Clearly not his fault that he was drafted so high, would have been okay as a 2nd round pick. -

I admit that I was one of those that defended the pick (not the player because I don't follow college sports) as I gave the benefit of doubt to the FO for several years. After being burnt by the likes of McGahee, Maybin, Whitner, Flowers, I gradually stopped doing that. But also that I am not averse to first round DBs in general as it is always important to pick a good player more than focusing on the position. Of course, there are some obvious positions you don't spend a 1st rounder on, such as RB. -
Imo, Baker is not damaged goods and should get a second chance with a team which has a strong and experienced head coach, a good culture and/or strong locker room with veteran players. Seattle, hence, makes sense to me also. Other option would have been the Colts but I think Reich must be too burned by the Wentz disaster.

For clarity, were you the owner of said vehicles or the one taking a ride (literally)? Also, are you a he or a she? 🙂
